1  Bitcoin / Press / [2023-01-26] Goldman Sachs Described Bitcoin As Best Performing Asset of 2023 on: January 26, 2023, 11:29:42 PM
The financial group Goldman Sachs is known in the cryptocurrency community for historically taking anti-Bitcoin stances, however according to their year-to-date asset return report by the company, Bitcoin so far is the best performing asset of the year.

Furthermore the Bitcoin asset was compared to their other assets like S&P 500, real estate and so on which not only outperformed these asset classes, but by a huge margin of reaching 27% in returns compared to the second highest of "MSCI Emerging Markets" at 8%.

2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The KRAKEN rises, meaning the 2020 election fraud is being corrected. on: January 26, 2023, 10:42:24 PM
Democracy is based on election fraud. Case in point, it's illegal for a politician to bribe people into voting for him by paying them. However it is NOT ILLEGAL for the politician to bribe people into voting for him by "cancelling student debt". The whole thing is a sham and the fraud is the system itself.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to Sustain a new year resolution on: January 26, 2023, 10:38:58 PM
I think a new year resolution is a flawed mindset to begin with. Like if you really wanted to change an aspect of your life, why would you wait for an arbitrary date to start? you'd just start asap.

It's like when people keep setting dates in the future of when they will start a diet, that's how you know they don't actually want to diet.

Scam alert: Metamask warns crypto users about address poisoning

While exploring the Binance news tab I found this article which highlights how a hacker is stealing the crypto assets by switching the address by matching the characters we normally use to send funds so beware of copying and pasting the recipient address no matter what kind of wallet your using and crosscheck all the characters not prefix and random alone.

I will quote the important part of the article and will leave the link below.

Quote
While the attempt would not give the hackers access to user wallets, people who may have gotten into the habit of copying their wallet address from the transaction history before sending digital asset balances could potentially send their funds to copycat addresses.
Because of this, the wallet provider warned users always to be careful and double-check their transactions before sending their balances. The firm highlighted that it would be best to check every single character of the wallet address to make sure that the funds will be sent to the correct wallet.

If only these scammers could apply their creativity to something productive. Thanks for the heads up bro.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📈 Boss Track 📈 - Track Your DeFi Portfolio Performance For Free! 💸 on: January 14, 2023, 10:09:08 PM
well, the concept is good. but if in case, there's at least one of the members of the team who has ill intentions in his mind, this service may give him idea which wallets have valuable assets. we don't know to what extent of record they will have upon using their site. i am just playing a devil's advocate here. you can always prove wrong and make your platform a useful one to crypto users.

You don't have to worry about anything malicious occurring for the following reasons.

1. The only information input to BossTrack is a wallet address, we don't collect information such as e-mail, phone, name or any usual profile information that could help a bad actor to social engineer a CEX account or government to track you. We know as much about wallet holders as the blockchain does.
2. We don't connect or require permission from a web3 wallet, there is no contract being signed by users - it simply displays info on the blockchain in an easier to digest format.
3. I designed the project to have as few vulnerabilities for users as possible, even in a worst case scenario and the project is compromised by a hacker - they simply have a page that takes API data from BSCscan, Etherscan, etc with zero control of your web3 wallet or any of your personal info.

Ahh, maybe I was a little bit unclear. Allow me to clarify using your attached picture. Is there a page that shows all of those assets on "Personal 1", "Shib #2" and "double up" into one?

So, suppose I have 3 eth and 20 BNB on "Personal 1", 50 eth, 3 BNB and 1,000 usdt on "Shivb #2", and 3 xrp on "double up", the "overview" --or whatever they're named-- page will shows:
- 53 eth
- 23 BNB
- 3 xrp
- 1,000 USDT

insread of having to select each wallet and look at the amount on the said wallet individually?

Yeah, we actually have the code for a multiwallet view that combines all portfolios together, although it's not live right now we are considering implementing this as part of a premium feature for holders.

Like always, government school is actively unpreparing children for the real world. If anything it would be more beneficial to the children to learn how to program AI prompts as it's obviously going to be a relevant factor in the future.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Billionaires aiming to be immortal being with their vast wealth on: January 14, 2023, 09:14:17 PM
In recent years, it has become increasingly popular among the world's billionaires to use their enormous money to fund their quest for immortality. These millionaires are dedicated to finding a method to live forever and are investing in cutting-edge biotech firms and sponsoring cryonics and life extension research.

Elon Musk, a tech magnate and businessman, is one of the most prominent individuals in this movement. Musk has publicly expressed his wish to live forever and has made significant investments in businesses conducting longevity research, including a $10 million investment in Unity Biotechnology, a biotech company focused on extending life. Additionally, he has made it known that he thinks technology, such as brain-computer interfacing, holds the key to immortality.

Do you agree with these efforts by the richest persons in the world to become immortal? What are the benefits and drawbacks of it if it actually occurs, given that the richest men in the world are currently making more efforts to have it happen? Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin,

It's a good thing. Developing life extension technology is beneficial for everyone by the time it becomes affordable to the consumer. Kinda like with cell phones being unaffordable for the masses when it was new then competition became realized and it got cheaper and cheaper until everyone had it. Furthermore, I'd rather billionaires be funding life extension rather than tyrannical control like Soros.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📈 Boss Track 📈 - Track Your DeFi Portfolio Performance For Free! 💸 on: January 12, 2023, 08:25:55 PM
Can't help but being curios, does your platform also offers a tracking service for multiple address? For example, I have an metamask-based ERC wallet and then when trustwallet became a trend, I also have a wallet on TW, with some of my assets on MM still sitting there these days. Can I put both addresses on your plarform and simultaneously knows my entire assets on both wallet?

Sure thing, you can track multiple wallet addresses and switch between them easily. Once you add a wallet address it gets saved in your browser cookies so you don't have to go through the hassle of signing into your different web3 wallets just to see your portfolio's value.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 📈 Boss Track 📈 - Track Your DeFi Portfolio Performance For Free! 💸 on: January 12, 2023, 01:52:49 PM
As you're not offering a token and more toward announcing your portfolio tracker platform, I think this board would suite you better: service announcement. You can move your thread by clicking the "move topic" button at the very end of this page, left side.

We have a token called Boss Token: https://bosstoken.com/ which is currently on BSC and will be used unlock premium features on Boss Track aside from having rewards distributed to holders and deflationary.

10  Other / Off-topic / Re: COVID-19 has changed the world dramatically. on: January 11, 2023, 08:56:03 PM
It certainly accelerated modern tyranny, however I would say it revealed who your friends/enemies are clearer than before. The entire 20th century was a massive lesson as to the dangers of demonizing a minority the establishment directs you to hate - yet what happened? A lot of people clammered to take freedoms away from the unvaxxed. They failed the test and learned nothing from the past.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 11, 2023, 08:13:40 PM
Fall of an empire. The west has been transitioning from a meritocracy to... not a meritocracy for quite some time now. Of course standards of living will be worsened.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 11, 2023, 04:45:59 AM
Ya probably going to make 6-7x if you time the top, so you will do better than most in the world. I think buying the blue band on the rainbow chart is such an EZ cheat code in life.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Why Would Anyone Be Against Self Defense? on: January 11, 2023, 04:10:23 AM
What is the rationale of those who want to make self defence illegal?

I get how a liberal could want social programs, since it's basically more money for them taken from someone else: Immoral but understood, more resources for your, less for someone else. But why is the first reaction of liberals in an altercation to criticise the person reacting to being assaulted and not the person starting the violence?

Do they just assume nothing bad will ever happen to them and thus can't empathize with someone being genuinely victimized? I can't see what they would gain from outlawing self defence. If anything, liberals are more likely to be assaulted since they tend to not workout and are more sensitive - see journos, they aren't even inclined to do petty crime and would benefit from people being sheepish about self defence. They would be the exact type of person a petty criminal WOULD target.

As the banking cartel gets increasingly more tyrannical and inflation becomes more and more thinly veiled I become more bullish on Monero.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Store your seed phrase offline on: January 10, 2023, 03:41:55 AM
I have not used LastPass password manager before, some people said it is also used for 2 factor authentication, but this is about people that are convenient to store their seed phrase, private key and password using a password manager that can connect online. The password manager uses vault to store people's information which are encrypted. In August 2022, hacker breached data of LastPass users, but can only be accessed using the password the users used to encrypt the data, said LastPass.

LastPass attacker stole password vault data, showing Web2’s limitations
LastPass data breach led to $53K  Huh stolen, lawsuit alleges

What do you think about this? Before hacker can have access to something, that means the vault is online. If something is online, it can be hacked. If a password manager is not offline, do not use it. I like to put my seed phrase on a paper, if you want it safer, you can use a steel backup for it, there are steels that you can buy to backup your seed phrase and it is not a waste of money.

If you are afraid of people not to see your seed phrase and steal it, keep your seed phrase in a very safe place but use passphrase to make it safer.

I think it's a tough way to learn something we have been saying for a while. The less failure points the better, when you have your seed phrase stored online there is ONE failure point, you.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brainwash Victim re-Education on: January 09, 2023, 10:51:15 PM
Who has more capability to "brainwash" people? An online influencer you have to choose to watch or government agents that force children against their will to be propagandized with their world view for over 10 years?
17  Other / Politics & Society / Environmentalists Should Be Against Inflation on: January 09, 2023, 04:51:46 PM
Consider inflation, what it actually is when you get to the meat and bone of the matter. It's a system which ultimately punishes people for saving and rewards them for consuming things in the here and now. This isn't a conspiracy or a hot take, the establishment says this themselves constantly and explicitly that inflation "stimulates the economy" which means they are creating a reward structure for consumers and punishment for savers.

This is a SYSTEMIC way of getting people to consume what they don't need. This should be the absolute number one concern of an environmentalist, yet you never hear a peep about inflation from environmentalists since they never really cared to begin with, it was all virtue signalling.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges lie to you! on: January 08, 2023, 03:05:24 PM
I feel like this is a new trend where exchanges are trying to make users feel like holding coins on their own devices is risky.

This and what CZ said about the 99% of people and self-custody are lies. I have an opposite claim. 99% of people who lost cryptocurrency are people who willingly sent it to a scammer, either an exchange, a cloud mining service, a bitcoin doubler or a fake mixer.
Your crypto is not safe in the hands of someone else!

Is this an ad popup on the coinbase wallet?
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Logan Paul threatens to sue Coffeezilla over CryptoZoo scam accusations on: January 08, 2023, 01:51:47 AM
People that want to sue don't threaten they will sue. It's like when someone says they will beat you up, you know they aren't actually going to beat you up - if they wanted to they would just sucker punch you without warning.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best ways to earn online without investment on: January 07, 2023, 07:03:14 PM
YouTube is ideal, basically starting a business with zero investment - a $100 mic is enough to scale a channel to making $10k+ monthly. I've done it before.
