ripple gateways. as i understand it, these are basically just exchanges that work very strictly with the ripple protocol, rather than loosely like bitcoin exchanges presently do. that said, it is unclear to me if they will have their own web interfaces, etc.
can they still be ddosed? will their ip addresses be known (does ripple expose ips in the protocol somehow)? if so, can you ddos something with simple pings, for example?
