The website of kialara.com is new, the maker used to sell from forum itself before that and through his blog.

he has done quite few designs ranging from $99 - $2000 but their secondary market value has gone upto $20k for some bars over time.

If you want to make something, work on your own style, you won't be able to sell much if you just copy others and change a little something.

I can help you out with sales internationally if you do, there are quite few Indian Collectors as well but am not sure if you would be able to sell many or all just within our Country. And if it does turn out as beautiful as this, many international collectors will want a piece of it. So i MIGHT just pick 50% of what you make to help them out.

PS - if you go with chineese mints for the making, be sure to include error correction in terms and condition as they make a lot of errors.

Good luck

I agree with the fact about not being able to sell anything within India. But I will give it a shot. I am not a professional minter so I will definitely have very little experience with that whole 'minting' side of the things. As in how to make this a loadable coin, vs the knick knacks.

What I do have is a connection that can cast any design I give them. I do the design, and he casts them. Since I have designed medallions for gaming tourneys (similar to the one that Dota2 gave away). Unfortunately, I do not retain the rights to showcase them as my work.

So how about I connect with you through PMs/email whatever, and you can help me make the first one. I might be able to create them one at a time, my contact actually prefers to work that way. But like I said, I will need help with things that I don't know of, would you be interested in such a collab?

I do have some experience in crypto coin making, and thus would suggest you to either make a medal/token or a DIY coin. The community will not a trust a new member in their midst with privkey to buy a fundable coin.

Happy to help out with a coin and if you mean one coin at a time as in just a single piece, wouldn't that make them costly or are we talking about hobo nickles kind of thing here?

Do look up for https and secure connection (lock sign) to make sure the site is authentic
https says nothing about a site's authenticity. What https means is that any data you send to the site is encrypted until it reaches the site, and so can't be intercepted by a third party. Any site can use https. It doesn't matter if the data you send to the scam site is encrypted en route, since there is a scammer receiving and decrypting it on the other end.

Using https is essentially, but that alone will not protect you from being scammed. Manually checking for https is also a poor method, because at some point you will forget. Instead install the HTTPS Everywhere browser extension: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

<…>Do look up for https and secure connection (lock sign) to make sure the site is authentic
Not really. In fact, I’ve seen a couple of surveys stating that at least half of the phishing attempts now use https, knowing well that it was interpreted (incorrectly) as a synonymous to the site being safe.

This graphic depicts the surge in 2017 of https used on phishing sites, and how the trend is increasing (nearly) every quarter.
source: https://securityboulevard.com/2019/06/more-than-half-of-phishing-sites-now-use-https/

My bad on vocab, meant https meant secure.

And i always thought phising sites didn't had https but thanks for the information that even https is being used by them now.

Haven't really came across a phising site in years, never click on them anymore, so...

Thanks for the information guys Smiley

I love the dragon themed design. Very Chinese.

Did you buy them directly from kialara.com? - I wonder if I custom made some of these with Indian art style - you know flowers, elephants, tigers and all (classic royal), then would anyone here be willing to buy them for a higher cost than the base making + metal price.

Is our Indian audience that developed?

PS: Before you ask, yes I can make them. And by that, I do not mean that I personally make them.

The website of kialara.com is new, the maker used to sell from forum itself before that and through his blog.

Thanks for creating this topic and we always wanted good old timers like you to return back to the board and contribute for the betterment. I am very much interested in collectibles and have started collecting small cheaper coins like Bitcoin Pennies initially this year. The major problem I am facing right now with collecting is the shipping fees which I should pay for bringing items to India. If many of us (Indians) are interested in collectibles and would like to buy from the USA or EU, we could sort out the insane shipping fees and have a consolidated shipping to India and later once we receive it we can have a separate cheaper shipping from a common point to other states.

Another added advantage is that if many of us are interested in the collectibles, we could have a cumulative bid on items and the items can be separately shipped upon once we receive it in India. For instance, if someone auctions 10-20 satori coins as one single lot we could speak upon the possibilities of how much coins each Indian forum member requires and based on the input one single member can bid upon and win the auction. Once we receive them in India we can consider the shipping activities which can be further carried out.

Apart from that I can vouch for you based on your expensive trades all over the forum and the expensive crpto-collectibles which you currently hold. Let's see how others react upon this unique topic.

P.S There are lots of possibilities and advantages if we as a team of Indian forum members strive hard to make this board great again.

Indeed, if there is enough interest, we can arrange a group buy for future products to save on shipping. It's really a hassle when it comes to Shipping.

Be free to add photos of items that you think are cool or you own to show-off Smiley

Cheers

487  Local / India / Re: Buy bitcoin from binance? on: October 05, 2019, 09:47:03 AM
You can buy bitcoin using your debit/credit card through Binance and other international exchange.

The RBI notice is for banks to not allow Indian Exchange for trading, you are free to do it as an individual. Also, they have no way to know/understand that it's being done for purchase of bitcoin, unless it shows up as such in transaction.

Though keep in mind the scams going around, and ofcourse the international INR to Eur/Usd Conversion fee, you will end up paying more. You can do better buying on LBC or other Indian exchanges.
488  Economy / Collectibles / Re: I have a SATOSHICARD available to buy for 2.5 BTC. Referral to buyer gets .1BTC on: October 05, 2019, 09:33:42 AM
I got mine from the original presale.  Here is the address of the one I own.  1BfLUnm55dPm94nzYSYVnBZXNMvQDUCS77 and also for the record I also have history in selling RarePEPE assets for over 20,000 as well.  Look up LordKEK card on Google and you'll see a bunch of random articles.  Also they minted 1000, burned 800 to a XCP burn address(I forgot what the name was of the SoG burn address).

Well! you did had an auction before but there were no bids, i hope that helps with the price.

Anyway, heres one i found online for 0.44 BTC

Good luck on yours Smiley

There's a minimum payout threshold to keep the coins from accumulating dust that can't be spent.  It's a feature.  You can see the accumulated balances to be paid here: https://nastyfans.org/mint.json

You don't have to register an account anywhere or ever take any action to receive the payouts.

0.06BTC

Alright!

just curious on how this payment works,
0.000375 BTC since 2015 seems a little crazy  Huh

That page only counts the unpaid balances. You have to check the address to see what has previously been paid.
~0.01 BTC

Is that 1 oz coin or 10 oz, the top one ?

still not impressive as i thought but well, i don't really own any seats yet so...

Sorry for going off-topic OP

i will leave it at here as it's above my bid now

Good luck

Is the original owner of this collection is chronicsky? Because I saw this collection a few years ago and not on this thread, Is this the same?

Yes, i made them back in 2016 during the halving

MJ is selling them for me Smiley

Ahhh. Are there any changes? I have some problem with the earlier version about how the pieces connect. It is not aligned when the magnet pulls each other, Same on the video in the OP. By the way, it's just a minor problem for me but I love the coin itself. I wish that you choose the right shipping company this time because when I get mine. The wooden box is already damaged.

No changes, same product.

The alignment is distorted as that's how magnets work, you can always slide them to align But i'll keep this in mind if i decide to do a future project Smiley

Sorry about the damaged box, i use national post and they do handle it not so nicely sometimes.

Do you consider selling it without the wooden box and just in airtight capsule? If yes then can you give me the estimated price excluding the shipping fee in PM. I might purchase another one.

They are little too thick for airtight plus the boxes are designed so the magnets in the coin do not go bad overtime. You can always buy another and discard the box or not take it. The price would be same.
