Lol you think Bittrex is going to add your coin or any other coin without PoD again? Usecoin ring a bell? Good luck getting listed on any high volume exchange without PoD. So you know I think PoD has no value. But what I think doesn't matter. If bittrex says they won't be adding coins without PoD anyone then I guess PoD does matter to them at least. If you can manage to get on a high volume exchange without it grats. I was pushing for PoD because I was told about 3 weeks ago bittrex had no plans to add coins without PoD. They still do add coins without PoD so that makes PoD completely useless now. I didn't ask for PoD because I believe it has value. In fact go visit the Axroncoin thread. PoD can be faked. PoD doesn't ensure the dev has any skill. PoD doesn't mean the dev wont run away from the project. PoD doesn't stop a scammer who lied to get his PoD rating from scamming you. If you believe in PoD I have a question for you. Do you believe in the Santa Claus too? Stop chanting PoD, it is a stupid mantra. You do realize the is community self-regulating (unless you'd prefer government regulation), yeah people can still scam, but it makes it more difficult even if only slightly. If we don't work to make sure coins are legit no one else will enter this market and it will just turn into a crypto circle-jerk. |

How much is conversion rate for opal to bitcoins? If we win would you pay bitcoins?
You receive payment in Opal coins, as far as conversion rate.. that's entirely up to you what you sell it at. It will be available immediately on market once released. if you compare to most other 15 mill coins anywhere from $15 to $15000 the choice is your when you decide to sell. The smart thing would be to only sell a small portion if your REALLY desperate for cash and honestly, if your desperate for cash you shouldn't be involved in crypto. If you really want to get a better value for what coins you have, work to increase the community (ie: twitter, BTCT, and Troll boxes) |

Hi all, We are looking for a new logo for our soon-to-be-released coin: Opal. We are a team of long standing BCT members with a wide variety of skill-sets and a great deal of experience in the crypto world. One thing we lack at the moment, however, are graphical abilities! This is why we are looking to the community to create one for us, in exchange for 100k Opal coins. (To put this into some kind of value perspective, there will be approximately 15 million total Opal in circulation, upon release). I Dont know where people get this idea that a business is going to buy up 100k coin for whatever they list them at.. Any business that has 1 million to throw around is going to get the coins as cheaply as possible. The Idea that the will just clear the Sell orders is just naive. They will put in a buy order and wait for people to sell just like any smart investor. I'm not saying there not going to invest in the company and brand, but seriously this We're gonna make you rich mentality is kinda dumb. If making other people rich was a good business practice you'd see money flowing in the streets. Be reasonable, if you like this coin and the company that maybe coming it Great! If your thinking you going to make Thousands of dollars as simply a "Coin Holder".. you will be disappointed.

My wallet is stuck on block 17643 (August 21st at 5:32pm) , and Ive deleted everything but wallet.dat and restarted with latest wallet, and still stuck. Anyone have any addnodes? Is this just another dead coin? I've played with some scam coins before, but at least they took the few minutes to make a working wallet..WTF? Was hoping to make a a quick Arb with 100k coins and can't send them to any other exchanges and sent to wallet and wallet doesnt even work.. no conf debug is broken.. seriously.. if this isn't a scam get a polished out wallet. This shit is just stupid. |
