Interested why the multi hundred TH accounts don't operate as private pools?
Is it that there is no advantage especially considering the 0% fee, and basically, just much simpler to point to Eligius?

Would someone be kind enough to maybe give some calcs as to what TH you would benefit going private?
If you control 100% of world calculating power, you get 25 BTC per 10 mins (average)
Now you ask yourself, how often you want to find a block and you will get appropriate percentage.
Thats all the calc you need

So, the board that arrived this morning at the data center was not the correct board.... figures.

In the meantime a temporary server is being setup to move affected services over.  Working on that now so I can at least get stats and payouts catching up.
Hope you understand you cannot just replace broken PCB with exactly same type working one. You will need some HDD initialization

Is there any way to create a signature and change your settings if you are using a blockchain wallet. I am sure many people have a hard time with this. Any help you can give is appreciated.

Its very easy, here is the button you click to do it

Let me know if you need more help

What is the benefit of this action?
Benefit of online wallet or benefit of signing messages?

How possible that pool is getting donations from unused NMC when NMC are not working since march?

Regarding the MiTM attack that some users reported, are those users able to see the payout address used by sniffing the outgoing packets? Is there a white list of Eligius IPs I can configure in my routers for mining traffic or any other addresses other than the one reported to block?

Why in the world should outgoing packets contain payout address?

Hey guys,

I've been mining at Eligius for one month now.
Since the first week, I gave up a NMC adress, hoping I would also get some NMC in the process of mining bitcoin.

As of now, I still have 0 NMC in my wallet.

Is this normal? Or did I do something wrong in my wallet settings?

Thanks!!
Yes, its perfectly normal. NMC doesn't work

This openSSL stuff got me spooked. Finally made a paper wallet. And now I get to be paranoid about my house burning down, instead of my computer getting hacked.
Perhaps you should engrave it on iridium plate then Smiley

It looks like NMC merged mining stopped to work. Last payment I received was from 2014-03-08. BTC mining and payments still work as expected. Anyone has similar issue?

[...]
I am working on it, haven't forgotten about it, and it will get done.  Also, when I do make the next NMC payout it will include backpay from the last valid payout (Mar 8th I believe off the top of my head) to the next valid payout.  The pool is still mining NMC for you guys and everyone will be paid their NMC.
[...]
Stay tuned.  I'm hoping to have it done today, but no promises.

Thank you, will stay tuned)

Any updates on the trading engine? Would love to buy/sell/trade LRM bonds once again (not through an SMF forum). BitFunder was a long time ago...

Haha that's a good one. You do realise zach hasn't done or said anything to suggest that these bonds will ever be listed on an exchange again right?
But you're wrong...

The trading platform is next on my list after making stats public, as I said I was busy through thursday of this past week.  From here on out I should have worlds of time to throw at making LRM everything it should be.
No problem, LabRat will implement it in just a two years. Everything is under control Smiley
