1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Authorship - ATS did not payout all tokens on: September 18, 2017, 08:49:34 AM
They working hard to detect fake accounts and so on. It has huge sense, I suppose.
BTW they should distribute tokens in few days after request and they have directly noticed that.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you invest in an ICO on: September 18, 2017, 08:43:13 AM
1. Jurisdiction. The company should be registered and the address should be provided for public.
2. Team. It should consists of suitable people and it size should be real to make that they claim.
3. Whitepaper. It should be correctly written and everything should be described in details.
4. Hard Cap. It should suit to the scale of project. It could even absent due to the size, ambitious and confidence of the project.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite Token? and why? on: September 18, 2017, 08:31:12 AM
My favourite is OMG. Just because I have it from the very beginning and it has already brought good earnings and hopefully it will bring more in middle term.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese money from trading crypto will become japanese on: September 18, 2017, 08:26:41 AM
I'm glad this will become true. Soon COMSA ICO will be. It's japanese platform for ICO conducting. I suppose that they should collect great cap, may be the biggest one)) BTW everybody hates China because of their unconsistency and fake news. They should be off soon. Hooray! Smiley
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 15, 2017, 08:16:13 AM
I'd like to divide them into small portions and invest to 5-10-15 ICOs. Some of them will bring another money, some will be unsuccessful. But the first ones should cover losses from the second ones =))
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized ICOs??? The new solution to regulation? on: September 15, 2017, 08:12:34 AM
I think it is a great concept. The question is how world community and crypto community will perceive this kind of innovation. I agree with thesis that if there will be at least one successful dICO - the become widespread.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on the current situation of the market? [POLL] on: September 14, 2017, 09:08:06 PM
We should use such a huge corrections to get more coins. These prices we'll probably don't see at all in future...

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchanges closing in China - just regulation on: September 14, 2017, 01:07:22 PM
News agencies are very interested in flash bright news. Their earnings directly depends from count of traffic they attract. That's why there are so many fake news, especially about China, crypto regulations, ICO bans and so on. You must always watch only official claims that stated at official resourses. That's it. There is no ban of crypto or ICO at China!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: September 14, 2017, 07:11:49 AM
Ethereum has changed the world. And it will do this again in future. I suppose that it's the strongest coin. But it's already has reached the price limit for now, but after upcoming fork the price should go up to 1000$ or even more. This is my opinion.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopocalipsis... Let's guess where and when will be the bottom on: September 14, 2017, 07:05:05 AM
Hello everyone!

Crypto market trend is now bearish. I offer to play the game where and when is the bottom of BTC price and world market cap at all.

My bet is BTC bottom 3200, world market cap is 110B. The date - 1 month.

Let's make the wisdom of crowd experiment. Just like at cindicator project Smiley

Doubt that it will be 3200 USD soon the chinese will pump money on the cheap bitcoins when all the fake news disappears.

I guess I'm less optimistic than you, I see it going under $3,000.

I would also like to take your side! It would be great time to buy more! Do you go to Teether or fiat for now?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!!Warning!!! *** Get Rich Fast! *** on: September 14, 2017, 06:57:19 AM
It's always so funny to hear claims like "Get Rich Fast!". There are no ways to get rich without an efforts at all, especially fast) But everytime newbies come to market and believe that they could get rich. That's why this market exists. Thanks for this thread. The first post should be shown right after registration at btctalk)))
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crash, Correction, Rumors... on: September 14, 2017, 06:51:59 AM
In the last weeks, we had so many rumors, and because of that we had " Crash"? No, I believe its some sort of market correction, it is good for ICOs, to have more money going in instead of BTC.

There always were and will be so called "crashes")) But instead, in long term the price will grow up very fast. Not only BTC, but most of crypto market.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling Bitcoin Over Market Price? on: September 08, 2017, 05:15:01 AM
Hey all.  So if i do this on bittrex, i would have to get USDT right?  Then once i have usdt... i buy bitcoin... then i could sell it for 2 percent over market price and make profit?

For example it shows btc price is 4598.70 now on google btc to usd

On bittrex, it shows price as 4580 for the bid price.  Thus someone is offering it at 4580.00.  And it shows the total price to be 4591.45.

So that would mean i could sell it to someone at 4598.70 + 2 percent = 4690.44

4690.44 - 4591.45 = 98.99.

So that means i would make $98.99 per every bitcoin i can buy/sell at these prices right?
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Simulation Site? on: September 07, 2017, 10:50:07 PM
I created an account already on bittrex.  Is it possible for me to simulate trading by looking at the amounts available and then do it but not use real money?

For example, lets pretend i send 2 btc to bittrex so i have around 9270 usd in bittrex.  It shows 4635 as last price of btc on bittrex.  But this doesn't matter since u are not using usd.

Then i would buy say 1000 shares of lisk for example.  Lisk is 0.00158977 btc now on the last price so its 7.36 usd.  So let say i buy 1000 of them.  So that means i pay around 18.40 usd fee so 0.00022 btc fee.  So that means my 2btc balance after buying 1000 shares of lisk would be 2 btc - 1.58977 btc - 0.00022 btc fee = 0.41001 btc right?

Can someone tell me if my math is correct?

Then let say lisk goes up to 0.00218977 btc.  So the price went up from 7.36 usd to 10.14 usd.  Im just curious but do you traders when you look at price.. do you look at the price in terms of usd on coinmarketcap or always at bittrex to see the 0.002 btc amount etc?

Now let i want to sell all the lisk for btc for profit.  So when i sell all 1000 lisk, i would receive around 2.18977 btc - 0.005474225 btc fee = 2.184295775 btc?
Thus now my bittrex btc balance is 2.184295775 + 0.41001 btc = 2.594305775 btc?

So this would be a 0.594305775 btc profit doing this trade which would be around 2754.82 usd profit right?  Can someone here check my math on this if i did all the calculations correctly?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: September 07, 2017, 09:06:41 PM
Yes i know you have to pay income tax if you convert the btc into usd.  But what about when you go from bitcoin to say lisk?  And what about when you go back from lisk to btc to secure your profit?  However your profit is not a flat number because that 0.5 btc profit could be 2500 dollars later on or 1800 etc.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: September 07, 2017, 06:09:00 PM
Well the thing is this.  If you dont pay any capital gains until you convert it to fiat, that is very easy.  Because you could trade for a very long time and make profit but dont need to pay anything until you cash out.  That makes it very simple to understand.

The issue is if you are suppose to count it every transaction, you have to convert the btc to usd amount at the point of sale?  But how is that a 1k gain then if that 1k worth of btc could be 750 later on etc?  So if someone made say 50k worth or profit doing many trades... let say all those btc profit add up 50k total on that day of the trade... if that 50k worth of btc is only 45000 now, then how can you even put 50k?  Unless you turn it into fiat, it seem very complicated.  If this trading was all in fiat, well thats simple.  You add total profit and have a USD balance on the exchange.  But everything is done with btc which makes everything not make sense.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: September 07, 2017, 06:05:09 PM
Well say you are trading btc for lisk.  Let say you bought 5k worth of lisk with your 5k btc.  You then sold the lisk for 1k worth of profit.  The profit is 1k worth of btc at that moment.  You keep the btc in your wallet.  You do not cash it out in fiat.

Is there a tax or not?  I read online that accountants seem to say yes that counts since you made profit.  Others say there isn't unless you convert it into btc.

So what is the answer here?  The other thing is ... so the profit would be the btc amount made at that time?  So you made 1k profit worth of btc at the price of sale.  However, that 1k profit in btc could be 800 or 1100 later on etc.  So it gets recorded at that point of sale?  This doesn't make sense because if you only made that 1k profit, then when you report it on taxes, say that 1k profit worth of btc that day is now only worth 850... then how are you even recording 1000 when that btc price is now 850?
19  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Attorney Will Answer All Questions: on: September 07, 2017, 05:49:59 PM
Also... you say

7. Until you sell for fiat or use to purchase goods or services you have no taxable gain.

Are you 100 percent sure about this?  I checked reddit and alot of other threads on this and it seems many accountants say there is a gain even if you go from altcoin to altcoin.  A few ppl say you dont but majority say you do.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I pay taxes when I sell an alt coin for bitcoin? on: September 07, 2017, 05:48:39 PM
Okay so far i havent gotten an answer yet still on this.  So btc to lisk.  Then lisk increase in profit and you trade back to btc.  What happens here since you never converted to usd?
