101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Guilty Verdict In Silk Road Case Could Doom Internet Freedoms on: July 18, 2014, 01:45:53 AM
I don't think it would doom the internet, but rather give mods an incentive to not allow illegal things to happen on their websites

Yep our new forums that have bitcoin areas say report to the mod anything illegal which we define as drugs and child porn but also say or other stuff you think shouldn't be in our forum.

Since it has no monetizing aspects to the forum at all, it's just a free speech site, you interested in bitcoin, ok discuss and trade here caveat emptor

If you see anything illegal like drugs or child porn please report to the forum

If you do engage in trade try to use an escrow company for anything of value over X dollars and report any bad traders to get them flagged

We like freedom of speech, operated forums to discuss stuff for years, but you have to put in now report anything illegal to protect yourself as a forum operator

102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you verify wallets on coinbase with blockchain? on: July 18, 2014, 01:34:49 AM
Coinbase gives you keys

Here's a key to sell or receive

But on the main account balance page they have an account number

IT DOESN'T EXIST on block chain

So coinbase isn't passing my sniff test

We created the account to do three things

a. accept money from our network services/products
b. to buy decent amounts daily
c. to transfer out money to our own wallets kept on electro and also on a core wallet

But I would like to see my existing balance I do keep on it to show up in a chain like my electro and core wallets do

Coinbase looks like fuzzy accounting to me

It works to buy from a trusted source, it works to receive, I'm not going to keep a big balance in it, my electro and core wallets are for that

But you would think when they say here's the main key for YOUR BALANCE it would show up

FUZZY ACCOUNTING A RED FLAG IMO

But a nice service to buy BTC from a trusted source and it is easy to interface with for ecommerce trans

He needs to argue that the WIPO agreement puts cyberspace into its own jurisdiction

No government owns cyberspace so no crime can come under its jurisdiction if you wrap WIPO around yourself

By treaty every nato country makes WIPO paramount to its constitution

So get the best jurisdiction team ever assembled, pay them with bitcoin and say cyberspace is cyberspace it doesn't really exist in theory

If anything he was a FORUM OPERATOR and did not one drug deal, so 100% innocent of drug dealing

The FORUM is protected as FREE SPEECH under US Constitution and it's cyberspace under wipo rules not US rules

The net is not regulated and while banks have bootstrapped themselves into the net, no one gov owns the net and anything done there should be tried in an international court not a US Fed court IMO

So what he was the ebay of drugs on the net, so what, show me one person he physically gave one drug to, they don't exist

Now taking bitcoin for it, so what, who regulates bitcoin, again NO JURISDICTION

So I hope he walks

You arrest the drug dealers in each transaction not the forum operator

JURISDICTION is the ultimate issue in that case and his mistake was residing in the USA where the feds could put silver bracelets on him

Had he been in the Cayman Islands he would still be running Silk Road

So he made one major mistake residence in the USA

Did he launder the money to any US banks?

Not that I heard

So he kept an unregulated fiat currency that is not under the jurisdiction of money laundering laws

He needs to get the guy wearing a dress (the judge) recused and move the case to an international court

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / How do you verify wallets on coinbase with blockchain? on: July 18, 2014, 01:08:24 AM
We have some btc accounts and our coinbase account is new

It's a couple of weeks old and it is monetized

We did a buy and its funded and it has been used to send out btc

Yet the address they give us for our 'wallet' when looked up at block chain shows 0

Anyone know how to verify the wallets on coinbase with blockchain to see they are in fact funded and are holding btc?
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earth is hollow on: July 18, 2014, 12:56:00 AM
The universe is a 6 dimensional computer, our DNA is our dimensional program.

Nothing is real, it's all virtual reality.

Energy running around a 6 dimensional processor creating the illusion of being.

If atoms were real, think about it, on a micro level your body would be like a dot matrix picture, nothing solid.

Atoms are 99.999% air, yet you think you're solid.

Holographic universe, so yeah the earth is hollow it's 99.9999% air due to the concept of atomic structure.
106  Economy / Goods / Low mileage Jaguar Executives Car SFL Only for BTC on: July 18, 2014, 12:00:40 AM
I took this car a while back for some work I did, I never drive it, I have other cars and don't need it.

But everyone once in a while if I need to pick up people at the airport or something I used it, since my other cars are sports cars.

It's older, but the book is high due to how few miles are on it.

It looks great.

I'm in SFL and will only do face to face local BTC trade.

Have title in hand.

Car Books out around 9K due to mileage and extras.

It's clean and solid.

Like I said it's older 2002 but due to mileage it's book is high.

So book value in BTC that's 15BTC or so

If you're in SFL let's meet

You look it over drive it, if you like, we do BTC and I hand you the title.

So 9K that day in BTC

107  Economy / Goods / RARE Roberto Alomar 1988 Score Traded GLOSSY BGS 9.5 Rookie RC Pop ONLY 4 on: July 17, 2014, 11:51:42 PM
I got a very rare Rookie Card for BTC

Only 4 exist in this grade it is the rare Glossy 1988 Roberto Alomar Score Traded Glossy

BGS graded 9.5 (their PSA 10 equivalent)

Not many of this set were ever printed so it's one of the rarest sportscards from that era and to have it graded 9.5 by BGS is why it's worth something.

I bring it around to card shows once in a while and dealers have never seen one.

The population is listed at Beckett the premier grading company for older cards.

PSA does the newer cards but many older card collectors like BGS.

1 BTC

Includes shipping via priorty in USA.

Includes shipping outside USA standard post.

If you are into sports collectibles this about as rare as rookie cards form the 80's gets.

108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's get the denominations of BTC straight on: July 17, 2014, 11:38:39 PM
I think Satoshi must have been an old school programmer.

8 Bits is a Byte.

So to have a system of Bits with 8 decimal points is based entirely on old school programming logic of 8 bits is a byte, only he chose to build Bitcoin on 8 Decimals is a Bit instead of 8 Bits is a Byte, if he called it a Bytecoin it would have perfect, IMO as to naming it in honor of how bits and bytes really work.

Anyone calling 8 Bitcoins a Byte yet.

Had Bitcoin been Bytecoin we would be calling the fractions bits and the coins bytes and it would be a perfectly phrased digital currency in semantics.
109  Other / Off-topic / Re: Domain registration on: July 17, 2014, 10:48:59 PM
I'm not that into all these new tld's. Didn't realize they dont transfer pro. About the only thing I agree with Schwartz on as to domains (he's a decent player in doms) is .com is king.

.CO was heavily tested by Overstock. Remember they pushed O.co. Well they had a bunch of testing on it, had people see their commercials.

O.co over and over in the ads. You know what most of the subjects in their tests did? The majority all typed in O.com

So if you are going to try to brand any name, without the .com you have lost the battle. Let's say you have keyword.pro and you put keyword.pro on biz cards. Most of the potential clients are going to type in keyword.com not your keyword.pro or keyword.tld

Over the years we've invested in many tlds

.co
.ws
.biz
.whatever

As Rick Swartz says .com is KING

110  Other / Off-topic / Re: SOLAR ENERGY ? on: July 17, 2014, 10:37:57 PM
Hydro is the big green energy resource.

Solar and Wind are minor.

This site has a Free Clean Energy movement that actually makes practical sense and they list lots of major countries that are over 50% Hydro now. China has a lot of Hydro plants under construction. Green Clean and Free may be the future of Energy. They go by GREPA

www.Grepa.org

Cool concept, that we support 100% like Bitcoin. Bitcoin and Grepa may be two pivotal movements in human development.
111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Domain registration on: July 17, 2014, 10:31:14 PM
Transfer to Namecheap IMO they now take BTC, we're moving a lot of domain names to NC now from eNom and GD over the fact they now take BTC. We want to deal with other BTC merchants.

Probably related to the thousands of micro quakes in USA from horizontal fracking, good videos at www.FrackingQuakes.com showing the exponential growth in quakes in USA it resembles the bitcoin charts, off the chart.

If it is THEE END then that makes Satoshi the anti-christ LOL, since we will soon all be trading in BTC his currency.

Oh in Qaballah (kabbalah) or Gematria 666 is WWW so some say the Net is the beast too, since the Hebrew Vau is equal to a modern W and has a value of 6.

The only problem is the original Koine Greek was 620 not 666.

haha

I love END TIMES stuff it makes me laugh.
