Is there a slack for this coin?

I created a SLACK few days ago and its not just for NETKO. Few more days for NETKO team to clear the work backlog. If i can get a few minutes of chat time with Gregor per week its a miracle.

Link to slack will be posted in the begining of the upcoming week.

Heya,

You'd better not deposit on YoBit, since they put coins under maintenance (AquariusCoin included) for months. ARCO is the reason to open a scam accusation against them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1693981.0

Cheers,
Spartak

I stand with @spartak here. They are f...k with ARCO for too long now. Its true i paid for ARC listing. I know i am not suppose to ask this but it would be kinda good to at least estimate how many ARCO frozen on Yobit.

If i had any guarantee that the maintenance will be resolved in remains that way i would pay the priority maintenance request in a second but i think there is no one on planet earth to give me that quarantee.

Any thoughts and feedback from community are more than welcome.

And just so its clear Yobit has updated to ARCO 2.0 and trading/deposits/withdrawals where fine several days after the HF block kicked in.

Even coin info src links on Yobit are updated to ARCO 2.0.

704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TAJCOIN- Blake2s POW/POS - GenesisBlock 10.7.2016 at 8:34 AM (GMT+1) on: May 04, 2017, 05:24:14 PM
Dear TAJ community. After a conversation with PoSWallet admins they decided to keep TAJ on PoSWallet but i do need some community support as well.

Please consider putting some of your TAJ holdings for stake on PoSWallet.com. As PoSWallet is a business they make business oriented chooices so if you want to keep TAJ on PoSWallet please support it.

PS: Mobile wallet for android  coming up in may.

A great week to everyone.

Great news about the android wallet! But can you perhaps explain a bit further how and why keeping TAJ on PoSWallet helps TAJ development, adoption and/or the health of the TAJ network? I am in crypto because I want to be my own bank (as far as possible) so entrusting my coins to a third party is not something I usually do. However, I am willing to consider sending some coins to PoSWallet if it is of direct and clear benefit to the development and wellbeing of TAJ.

You are 100% correct about the "my keys my money" i feel the same way. In regards to PoSWallet i belive its a solid project and TAJ was one of the first PoS coins that got in while it was a matter of YES or NO from admins without voting. As PoSWallet is turning into much more than just a web stake wallet i belive its in the interest of everyone to keep TAJ on the platform.

The only reason there even was an announcment by PoSWallet to delist TAJ is the simple fact that there is not much daily volume on TAJ. Rest ashure i have no intention to have Taj only on Cryptopia, Yobit and PoSWallet and when time comes and proper legal oversight of my cryptocoins is esablished i strongly belive that no supporter of my blockchain will feel remorse.

In addition to regards to PoWallet platform, there are very cool features coming to the platform the will benefit the company, POSW holders, supported coin devs and of course the community.

707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LANACOIN "PoW/PoS Hybrid Sha256d" - 7.506 B supply on: May 03, 2017, 03:15:39 PM
Dear BCT community

Please shut down you miners, shutdown and remove you wallets (cleanup/delete data folders  in case you dont know where they are https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory and look for lanacoin ).

LanaCoin will be relaunched/rereleased in a couple of days. Wallets have been unpublished, source code is removed from Git and will be back on GitHub soon.

It was a tough call to make but my decision is final! Llaunch was a complete fail in my book and i have only myself to blame as i didt follow my initial plan.

The initial  plan was to premine 100 blocks  to reach maturity of coins to  the point where proof of stake kicks in along with proof of work and to protect the network from the type of events that occured.

If the network would have been online for 1-2 weeks or more my decision would be different but since its 2 days and 7 hours i am pulling the plug and releasing the coin they way it was initially planned.

Thoose 100 premined blocks therefore apox 1.0000.000 LANA or 0,0221877080097626 % of the total supply  where ment for Lana as a gift but i didnt want all the "premine" negativity and therefore decided to launch it 100% open for everyone.

The new launch will be exactly as written above. 100 blocks will be premined to reach the maturity of coins that will alll be distributed to the seed stake nodes and to Lanas birthday gift wallet.

A fully functional PoW/PoS network will enshure that the network will be synched and up to date ragardless of the state of PoW blocks.

Lana will decide how many of the premined coins will be given away for possible bounties, ANN translations, faucet top ups .....

Thank you again for your time support and patience and if there was a rational/economical  way to get the newtwork back on track i would take it.

Please comment bellow how you feel about this decision.

Thank you.

Dear LanaCoin community.

With great pleasure announcing that the 0,022% premine from the quote above has been given away fully to community members.

Most of them on social media giveaways like the ones bellow.

711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NEVA] NevaCoin | PoS 2.0 / PoW Hybrid | Blake2s PoW | NO Premine | on: April 29, 2017, 06:54:49 AM
A late birthday present for Neva Smiley

The first decentralized cryptocurrency ever to be created as a gift for someone's birthday. At 1457344680 unix time is my girlfriend's 25th birthday (her name is Neva if that isn't obvious) and since she is abroad at the moment I figured this is the best gift I can give her remotely. Who wouldn't want a global decentralized peer to peer network cryptocurrency platform named after them as a birthday gift, right? Don't worry, I will also give her a less geeky gift when she comes back Smiley

Genesis block:

Code:
const char* pszTimestamp = "Happy 25th birthday Neva!!!";

        genesis.nTime    = 1457344680;

The coin was successfully launched on March 7th, 9:58AM (GMT) and is available for mining (for the next 14years) and staking since day one.

Name meaning:

Gender: F  Meaning of Neva: "white snow" Origin of Neva: Spanish

What is the purpose of this coin?

- 0% PoS, fixed block rewards ensure predictable supply increase.

- Unlike most of PoW/PoS Hybrids, this one will have a very long PoW phase. The network will stop accepting PoW blocks in approximately 14 years. The goal is to gain a mining chance, even to people that stumble upon it years later in the future.

- Gain some interest from the female half of the population (starting with Neva). Lets be honest the cryptocurrency community is still a sausage fest Smiley

- Blake2s mining algorithm.

- Blake2s PoS block hashing - friendly to low end hardware. Raspberry-Pi nodes...etc.

- Slow emmision. The PoW and PoS reward is 5 NEVAs. The reward will halve for both at block height 2628000. That is approximately 7 years until the first halving. After the second halving at block height 5256000 the PoW phase will be over, continued only by PoS with 1.25 NEVA reward, which will halve again in 2628000 blocks...etc.

- The low reward and long PoW phase is meant to avoid the insta-mine by handful of people.

Coin specifications:

Ticker:                       NEVA
Type:                         PoW/Pos2.0 hybrid
PoW algorithm:           Blake2s  (read more)
Difficulty retarget:       Every block
Block target:               91 seconds
Block reward:              5 NEVA  (both PoW and PoS have static rewards)
Max block size:            4MB
Coinbase maturity:      25 blocks
Block reward halving:   every 2628000 blocks (approx 7 years, probably less)
Last PoW block:           5256000 (in approx 14 years)
PoS start:                    from the first block
Minimum PoS age:        4 hours
Maximum PoS age:       no max (PoS 2.0)
Max coins:                   26 280 000 NEVAs (this amount will be reached at block 131400000, or in roughly 350 years)

Seed nodes are hard coded.

QT GUI Wallet Features:
-Integrated block explorer
-Two themes, default light theme and an optional funky dark theme

Daemon features:
-coockie authentication
   - You do not need the rpcuser/password parameters in the nevacoin.conf to run the daemon. You can still use them if you want, but if they are not provided an authentication cookie file will be generated in the .nevacoin directory and also deleted on shutdown. So one less thing you have to do if you want to run a headles node for staking.

Basic setup for daemon in nevacoin.conf file is:
Code:
daemon=1

At first the NETKO coin will be used as a loyalty token for our existing and future customers and to promote our business, later we might integrate other services using NETKOs blockchain.

I have made a reasonable bag, project sounds fair, but would love a bit more info about the bolded part and if it going to have any relation with the quoted below. Thanks in advance.

Hi yes it will. It will take a while to make it all a reality but it will happen. With the exeption of the CCTV part as there is not real life use cse we cant think of the moment.

More details are coming rest ashure and we will do our best to keep you in the loop with the developments.

Holy crap, Jure. Let's put aside you've messed up with the links, but this OP looks uglier than my last girlfriend... Cheesy

Good morning bud. I double checked all the links just now and all are fine. The invalid img msg-es are not a problem with the ANN but more like something to do with either BitcoinTalk or Imgurl.

I thought this was about a funcional ARCO chain or is it a "my ANN is hotter than yours"  Wink.

I like it and it stays and who says its finished. It was just time to make some changes and i hope you will support it.

Btw can i get the number of that Gf   Grin Grin Grin

What you'll get is ass whooping. Smiley Some stuff may be removed and the graphics could be a lot smaller. Imagine if someone open this with a 1366 x 768 resolution. Maybe you can try by yourself and see. People will eventually want to know more about the coin, not these graphics (and now when you look at the thread you can see the focus is on graphics).

If i get a comment from a 1366x768 res user i will remind him/her its the year 2017 Smiley or sell some ARCO and buy him/her a nice fullhd lcd  Wink

Why newbie, why? Why dead? The author of the coin a week ago wrote a post that is exactly over your so why?

I am human and I was worried.

Life is tragic, and the author could have died in a car accident

hi even if i did source is still on Git and anyone can pickup where i left off.

PS: With all the ashole drivers (specially the bmw egotrippers ) in slovenia your point aint that far fetched  Wink.

But fot the time being i am still here and moving on. ARCO will never be abandoned thats for shure.

Don't worry, we just talked on Facebook, but it wasn't about ARCO, it was about beers. Now move on.

Grin Beers that you dont have time to drink and bars you dont have time to visit. I like your new job more and more day by day.

PS: For the record @spartak is one stand up honest as f...k guy. To not go into the full debate lets just say i did a small favour and forgot about it 100% and the genuie Aquarian reminded me.

Then came the small rumble and ass wooping comments followed by an intellignet settlement.

Looks like syncing the wallet isn't that bad guys. Problem is if you have old wallet.dat file, then it's a bit pain in the butt... I deleted mine and wallet syncs like a charm. Got 0.28% in less than 5 minutes. My advise is to move your wallet.dat file, sync the wallet and then move it back.

P.S. Make sure you are using these wallets: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1014145.msg12754106#msg12754106

Cheers,
Spartak

Tnx for the wallet.dat tip @Spartak trying it now and beta wallet this time seems to work fine. Catching up with the chain right now with a fresh empty wallet.dat.

338311 block till synch.
