1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: April 26, 2015, 05:54:31 PM
I put .7btc in at the bottom, so I didn't even go in with much money at all, spr was just a side attraction to me, but i had alot of profit to put back into some trades so i thought, fuck it! throw 1btc into SPR, but I could only get .7btc in

but from that small position which was actually just a small SMALL cut out of my previous profits, i've pulled out a total of 3.8btc this week from spr, which i have already reinvested Cheesy and just a 100% profit on 3.8btc is 7.6btc lol

the more money you make, the quicker your able to make even more money

That is still pretty sweet bro no matter how small your original amount was
0.7btc is $153 USD so you basically turned $153 USD into $835 USD (3.8btc)
you could never do that so easily in any other place other than crypto

so that is still a sweet deal even if its a small amount of moner like that
if you managed to squeeze your full 1btc in you would have have made 5.42btc
thats basically turning $219 usd $1,191 USD which is fucking amazing if you come from the stock world like me

I dont know how you manage the rest of your btc holdings but 442% profit happens so frequently in crypto
heck even 1000% profits happen frequently if you buy at the right time

The future is bright for the crypto world man

as soon as the rest of the world sees whats happening nearly every fucking month here
it's gonna be pandemonium

mark my words

well ryan said it himself

The one true factor that displays that most of the people in crypto are at least partially able to ‘go against the tide,’ and behave contrary to majority held beliefs and opinions is the fact that despite the false claims and accusations by bankers that is consistently broadcast to the world through each and every respected media channel in existence, that the crypto currency market is unsafe and void of any profit potential – most of you are still regular participants in this ‘dark side’ of the financial world, and not only do you relentlessly continue to participate, but some of you have been reaping in above average profits on a weekly basis...

Maybe when the rest of the world finally realizes the amount of money being made in crypto it will be the beginning of the end?

Like the tech bubble?

Like the oil bubble?

Like the housing bubble?

Crazy amounts of money is being made right here and now, so perhaps we don't even need the rest of the world to jump into the market?

You could be right
fuck it, whatever the case may be, im just gonna enjoy the market while the getting is still good Cheesy
its just amazing man, they should be talking about altcoins on the news every fucking day, just because of the amount of money being made

this is truely our generations gold rush

crave has been quite enjoyable over the last two weeks

looks like the bull market is well and truly underway

You could be right 343 btc Vol today lol, I wonder what would happen if it bumps upto 600 btc volume??

If that were to happen, the whole market will make money on crave.....skilled or unskilled

It will be just like it was this time last year when if you bought the most popular coin of the day, left your computer for an hour and then came back, you'd be looking at an easy 100% profit

That's what happens in a bull market

Looks like the prophecy came true crave is on 525btc volume for the day Cheesy Cheesy

++++1,519% gained on CRAVE since this went out

17600SATS to a 285kSATS high

another TEN-BAGGER

 Grin
nope just hit 440,000 satoshi so that's a 2,400% profit from 17.6k satoshi Wink
I think this week seals my decision to go full time crypto, I've got more than enough coins now to pad my pocket

800k satoshi makes it a 4445% profit and BY A MILE my best trade ever

PRICE MOVEMENT
Now that we have found a good altcoin that has managed to maintain a stream of consistent volume over a sustained period of time, we want to go ahead and asses the profitability scale of the coin – by looking at how it has performed in the past.

Looking at the ALL chart, you want to see that your coin has had multiple high percentage price hikes in the past.  This goes back to what I mentioned earlier about using predictable behavioural patterns to your advantage.

Multiple spikes and a stream of consistent volume, indicates that there are traders who are constantly buying this coin every time the value declines which is a great indicator simply because people do not consistently throw money at something that isn’t lining their pockets with cash.

I'm glad that you posted this

too many people cant even comprehend that EVERY SINGLE MOVEMENT in crypto is part of a "bigger picture" so +1 on that

volume is like fuel and the altcoin is the vehicle

if there is a disgustingly loooong accumulation period where huge amounts of volume is being pumped into a coin, then you had better get you some of that coin

because when the coins ready to lift off it's going to be a shit storm of profit

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: March 18, 2015, 12:31:30 PM
As I mentioned previously, novice traders make up 100% of market fatalities because they fail to define what their role is in this market, and so their roles are defined for them by the professionals.

Simply put, in the altcoin market, novice traders are the cash cows.

Exactly +1 Smiley

I have been saying this for so long.

If you don't know what you're here to do then you are selling yourself short because there are people who DO know what they're here for, and they create strategies to get what they want

Even when I started out I had a target to make 2 btc a day but i didn't understand the preparation that comes before that, so I kept fluffing up my trades, selling to early or buying too soon and all of that was happening because i didn't have a defined criteria of my ROLE

People who make 2 btc a day this month are only making that much because they bought wisely last month

True but more importantly and more to the point, ryan was saying that thers structure to everything
even if you think you're trading without a structure your actually following a structure that has been created by someone else for their own benefit

Look at it like this, if I only trade as a hobby then i will only be making trades with a small amount of money and i will want to get every thing over and done with right there and then, i will not wait any longer than one day to see something happen
so because of this, i will only logically trade a coin that i can see is already moving up

this is how so many people fuck up, not only are they trading with $40 and expecting to make $1000, they are buying false signals
because they have a peasants mindest so they think that if they dont make money every day that there is no value in trading

but because they aren't educated they will never realize this

One guy can do two trades with $1000 in a month and then the month after he will have slowly cashed out $4000 or more, this is how smart money operates. Traders who are in the dumb money category will make 50 $20 trades a day and end up with -$1000 by the end of the month
because they are too small minded and too short sighted to go the distance

that is how they get taken advantage of by people who understand things a little better Wink

Maybe you are jealous well its what you sound to me. If you hate manipulation the way you say then why do you want to know how they do it? So that you can do yourself? Roll Eyes

Hes trolling dude just hit that little ignore button like everyone else

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: February 25, 2015, 08:52:57 PM
Whilst inexperienced traders watch, in amazement, as a coin randomly shoots up by 100% in 24 hrs - they are totally oblivious to the fact that, everyday - for weeks, that same exact coin was making small advancements (+10% - +30%) daily... So what they are looking at as "a coin that doubled in value in one day", may have actually provided another, more skilled group of traders, with 500%+ in profits.

everything about the way exchanges are arranged and setup is to trap people into thinking about daily movements instead of the bigger picture

the ones who aren't smart enough to navigate around these things have already lost and they don't even know it
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: February 19, 2015, 10:05:45 PM
Lastly there is no natural cycle, that implied there is demand, there is no demand for these coins.

Altcoins are used to produce more bitcoins, what ever altcoin people think they can use to gain more bitcoins = demand

Yep and that demand flows into one coin, out of that coin and then into another

why do you think you never see 50 coins pumping at the same time?

Thats why you get these cycles

if there were no cycles a coin would pump once and then disappear but many coins pump several times

ESC was a 500% gainer you don't just stumble upon opportunities like that
Where can you buy ESC now?

We're not investors, we're opportunists. ESC pumped out more than 2000% profits in the space of two months, just like OPAL, SMBR, XST etc

We follow opportunity, we don't follow altcoins

Thanks Ryan

Once again this makes total sense - so with this advice ringing in my ears & the dubious new coin I bought into already dropping in value, I cut my losses, sold out and spent some serious time going through all the charts.  Also sold all my other 0.1 BTC holdings that even if they went x300% were not going to make me rich... & made up a little "all-in" war chest of just over 1 BTC.  The question which was really getting to me was - how do I know which one of these coins is DEFINITELY going to have another rally?  It has to be definite if I'm putting everything on (I can afford to lose it sure, but my wife's not gonna let me sink another $300 into trading if I'm losing!!! so I'm risking my "fun tokens" ha ha).  Litecoin or Dark are BTC trading partners, but I'm not sure which way they will go next, and all the other ones I found with nice patterns seemed to be (maybe) at the top currently (e.g. ESC) or looking good but unclear when/whether would lift off again (e.g. START,LTCD).

Eventually I realised that there is a coin which I'm dead sure has to rise again - CANN.  How can it not?  It's here for the long haul, has good real-world traction and a virtual certainty of news events.  Once I realised how sure this is, I mentally tipped my hat in agreement with Ryan and the other experienced traders - 110% predictable in some markets seems more than fair.

Now all I have to do is deal with the market's two determinants (fear and greed) WITHIN me!.... how high shall I set my spread of sells?  But the uncertainty of wondering if I picked the right coin is gone, and so will be the constant pulling funds in and out of crappy coins, losing money every time.  I'll just enjoy Christmas even if my CANN falls to half the value... at the very least the next twitterstorm will bring it back up to level.  More likely, I'll cream off some profit when it hits my sells - unless I've been too greedy.

So for all the noobs reading this column for advice on how to invest a very small stack, (that's what I've been doing for a couple of months) I'm taking Ryan's & other posters' advice - NOT diversifying, but picking a good quality coin that I have very good reason to expect to rise again (have to be sure) but is relatively cheap & out of the public eye at the moment but that people are still throwing money into, & buying in at wholesale prices.  There's no repeating pattern to work from with this coin but reading the CANN thread I'm (like totally) sure there'll be newsworthy publicity "events".  Then we'll get the perfect storm of twitter, crypto news articles, volume, front page of Bittrex & fresh money flowing in in panic buying &...... if you agree with me.... (do your own research!) we'll have our coins already in hand to redistribute to those who used to be like us!

So - that's my thinking.  And yes before anyone says - of course I'm a bagholder...since about 30mins ago I am!  But the amount of BTC that went in & out of that coin a couple of months ago had nothing to do with feeble attempts to talk up coins on forums, of that I'm sure - so that's got nothing to do with it.  I'd just like to share my thoughts with others long & short in the tooth & see what people think of my reasoning...

In particular, I wonder if with so many bag holders now, the next CANN rally may be much more subdued & struggle to reach 100-200% rather than the dizzy heights of the first one.  I set my sells at about 500% when I had a bit of ESC & could have made about 2.5 times what I did!  so I don't want to sell out at 50-150% & miss a 1000% moonshot - but neither do I want to set sells of several hundred percent & miss out on doubling up my lone bitcoin.  I know- set a few orders at different levels (I have) - just wondering what people think about the next rally (likely to coincide with next news event maybe in January)...

TL;DR ...I don't know what I'm doing, but based on stuff I've read here & my child-like reasoning, I've sunk everything spare into CANN & gonna hodl till next rally which I've convinced myself is a 100% sure thing!  woop woop!

Cheers

jk

I agree with this nembot, diversification is for fools

but there is alot more to it than just this

Hi Ryan - thanks for all the free tips - make good reading.  Made about .3 BTC on ESC (only! from about 0.05 that I had lying around) after your tip-off last time & was kicking myself for not liquidating my other couple of positions and betting the (tiny) farm.

Also been reading the diversification/all-in argument & think I agree.  Like in poker as a small guy you can just get "eaten up by the blinds", even the transaction fees don't make sense if you're trading .1 BTC several times a day - not to mention your time.

ESC was a good one you're right again... I agree with this too

how many times do people need to see the same patterns before they realize that they are seeing the same thing repeating with every alt,

lol that's the secret right there

the SAME THING happens with every single coin

that's how i made my money

He doesn't just say XYZ coin is going up BUY NOW! He tells you exactly how the whole "situation" is gonna play out weeks before it actually does.

He's like "first the price will slip and slide before stopping at 24 sats, it will be there for two days. then, all of a sudden, it will come to life and climb the ladder, all the way to 36 sats, then back down to 24 before exploding and hitting 200 sats on the 5th of january" ... and that's exactly how the thing would play out

Explain this

There are simply too many uncontrolled variables to flawlessly prediction. Now mater how well prepared you are, you don't know everything.

(I disagree btw)

I don't think he has an explanation...... sounds like loser talk to me

Who's gonna pump to 800$ in an hour and then sustain that price against all the bagholders that are only waiting for that to happen? Batman?

I think all the assholes who bought at 800$ have sold a very long time ago. If that wasn't the case then we wouldn't be at 340$ right now

and someone needs to explain this 5x pump theory to me. just because the market cap is 5 Billion the price will "pump" out of the blue, as if the market cap hasn't been 5 billion for several weeks now?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper: Pumpers Picks (Updated Daily) on: December 12, 2014, 10:03:04 PM
Roll Eyes alot of misinformation out there

we all buy at the bottom within a specific range of prices which is clear when you look at the charts so its impossible to dump without taking a loss

nlg and ltcd are both coins we were told to buy weeks ago while everyone else have only just started to buy

i was with the team last month and have learned a lot about what to do and when to do it. last week and the week before brought me 4 times my btc so from what I have experienced i would recommend ryan to everyone as a primer to learning how everything works, which is where the value is for me
