1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 23, 2015, 04:54:43 PM
today match Crystal Palace vs Sunderland, i think Crystal Palace will win, what your prediction?

Crystal Palace should easily beat them.

Just know if leicester city is top standings

Interesting. I knew Leicester is doing well but didn't know it is that well until you mentioned it lol. While they have a very slim chance to get hold of the title in the end, they have a very good chance to go play for the Europa League next season if the players keep it up. Let's see if they can beat Man Utd next week. Tongue

No chance to Leicester stay on top at the end, Europa league is limit. Vardy maybe now top player in europe and team a lot depends on his performance

It would be awesome if they did, but they've had mostly easy teams so far and have a few very tough games coming up which will be testers for them on how far they can go. They've got Man U, Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all before the end of the year.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 09, 2015, 03:52:58 PM
let play 4 matches from tomorrow

Bournemouth - Newcastle win Newcastle
Manchester Utd - West Brom    win MNU
Sunderland - Southampton win Southampton
Stoke City - Chelsea win Chelsea

let see if i win all four

cmon Chelsea disappoint me again i will never play on them again honest
they lost i this
again make 3  out of 4

I'm enjoying their bad luck, but I think they will probably win against Norwich in their next game. Their losing streak will be broken soon I think but they're still a risky bet and that could work in your favor. The league could go to anyone this season (except Chelsea lol) so it makes it a bit more exciting. Would love and underdog like Leicester/Spurs/West Ham to win.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 26, 2015, 02:40:40 PM
this is boring derby of manchester i thought there will be many goals happen but the result is beyond of my expectations

I also think like you and I have a bet over 1.5 and 2.5 goals. I have the odds 10 only lose in a derby. I should be able to get 0.1BTC Cry

IT seemed every pundit and tipster was predicting lots of goals for this game but I was sceptical. I expected it to be a draw or very close at least but not some of the crazy scores people were picking. I expected a lot more draws from the other games too but most of them were close with only one goal in it.

In my opinion, Bitcoin and Porn won't match each other due to the former's anonymity. Yes! Except legit and trustworthy sites like, Brazzers, Naughty America, etc. most other sites will turn out to be scammers and "ad-whores" since you can't claim anywhere that you bought an account there Wink

What? Bitcoin is perfect for porn sites because of its anonymity. If porn sites started ripping you off then they wouldn't survive for long with such a bad rep. News would quickly spread that people wernt getting what they paid for. Most sites will probably use a bitcoin payment processor too.

I heard thay in he 2014 too they said that 2015 will be the year of bitcoin and many users also predicted that biycpin will rise upto 500usd in this year but it did the opposite

yeah, it feels like every year we are hearing the same news over and over. the only thing that changes is the price prediction which is always a couple of hundred dollars above the current price for the next year.
funny thing is you sometimes encounter those news like on CoinDesk if you are searching for something about the price on google.

but this is the first time that I kind of agree with all those news and think that next year we are finally going to see some higher prices for a change.

People are optimistic but are biased by their own financial wants. I can't see bitcoin going to the moon any time soon as its been pretty slow for news and adoption over the past year but lets give it a few years before we make any more predictions about when The Year of Bitcoin is going to be.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: September 28, 2015, 12:28:39 PM
So today we have West Brom vs Everton. Any thoughts for tonight guys?  Cool
I am quite confused to predict this match, but I tend to choose evertone may X2 or under 3.5 goals Smiley

I think it'll be a draw or maybe Everton. Go Everton or draw and under 2.5 goals.

The U.S. owes almost US$3 trillion to just Japan and China alone as it prints about US$696 million per day. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or the world’s loan shark, China has even passed the U.S. as the world’s largest economy.

What I don't understand is why does the US own Japan and china so much? Why do they even need to borrow so much money when they can just print their own not to mention why would they want to be in so much debt that they can't ever really repay?

2012: "2013 is going to be the year of bitcoin"
2013: "2014 is going to be the year of bitcoin"
2014: "2015 is going to be the year of bitcoin"
2015: "2016 is going to be the year of bitcoin"

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy.

I'll just wait and see what the future brings. There are no promises but I have hope that sometime will be the year of bitcoin.

if my account has positive trust is it value pushed up?
If you ask me then its NO.
I don't care if you have a Dozen of Trust but do care If you have a single legitimate Trust from Default List.
You should always try to stop the tradings of accounts that involve green trust as if it goes in wrong hands can lead to some sort of scams.
else there is no point of trust all remedy lies in Escrow , use Escrow for all small to big stuffs and stay safe.

You might not value the account but it does add more value if you check the digital goods section. People will obviously pay a little bit more for trust, sometimes for good or bad reasons. As shorena said above you probably wont be able to scam for much if anything at all so it's probably not worth buying an account to scam but some feedback might make people trust you more for sure.
10  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-02] Restaurant Owners Can Greatly Benefit From Bitcoin Payments on: August 03, 2015, 12:00:23 PM
All businesses can benefit from bitcoin, not just for money saved through fees but by the free advertising they get by accepting bitcoin.

http://digitalmoneytimes.com/crypto-news/restaurant-owners-can-greatly-benefit-bitcoin-payments/
“Since we started working with virtual money, we have had several customers pay that way and on the marketing side, it was a hit.

It's the novelty effect at play here. I would imagine they would actually be at a loss every time they accept bitcoin payment. The restaurant can save 3%-5% from card fees, but they could loose out on exchange rate and conversion fees. Bitcoin a great marketing tool. I would dine in one of these restaurants if I have a chance and have fun spending bitcoin.

I hope they accept zero confirmation payments? I do not want to wait around for confirmations. We all know there is no telling when the next block will be mined.  Cheesy

It's not really novelty as most bitcoiners want to spend their coins. And they wont lose money because they will almost certainly use a payment processor such as bitpay that gives them the dollar value at the time of transaction.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What BIG company will be next after BACKPAGE???? to support FULLY BITCOIN! on: July 20, 2015, 11:58:53 AM
one of the biggies, Ebay, Amazon would be a great boost and awareness would go through the roof

Hopefully. Amazon or eBay would be huge. Maybe Facebook or you tube will implement or accept it in some way too.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 29, 2015, 09:03:26 PM
well i can show them the same for fiat, so it does not make sense that they believe bitcoin is only for drug only, unless they are really stupid or something, everyone should've an open mind at least partially

When the mainstream media is portraying Bitcoin as something demonic, which is associated with child porn and illegal drugs, it will be very hard to change the normal people's opinion. Even if you argue in favor of Bitcoin, some of the people are going to think that you are either a pedophile, or a member of some drug cartel.

There is only one option to counter this --- social media.

Public opinion and perception of bitcoin will change over time but nothing much we can do about their ignorance currently. Once they see the benefits of bitcoin they'll come around eventually. All we can do currently is to just keep spreading the word and trying to educate people in whatever way we can.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Lamborghini for bitcoin thread! on: June 18, 2015, 12:22:04 PM
Bought for 216 btc, selling for 720 btc. Nice profit!

Yeah, but bitcoin was worth a lot more back then. Does anyone know the fiat value of what he paid for it originally?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: June 18, 2015, 12:19:40 PM
I voted for Speculation/Investment/Saving. I plan to save my bitcoins for a while but then will spend them on things that I want and hopefully travelling. I think it would be awesome to travel on bitcoin and use it as a worldwide currency. Paying no extortionate bank fees would be great.

16  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-06] bloombergview.com: Welcome to Bitcoin's Boring Era on: June 06, 2015, 11:52:29 AM
The article is so much more than just about Mark's cat. I think bitcoin has gone into a boring phase, though. I remember being so excited when I first got into bitcoin with the crazy rises and crashes but now it's just pretty stagnant with the occasional slight fall. I think we really need one piece of huge news like an industry or massive business accepting bitcoin to get some excitement back into the sphere.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: May 19, 2015, 05:59:00 PM
i decided to keep holding my coins a bit longer. it always feel better to spend coins when their value has gone up. at this point there is not much that i need. so holding is the best option.

I think the best bet is to hold long term. Hold for a couple of years at least and your bitcoins should hopefully have far more purchasing power then then you can live like a king on bitcoin  Cheesy.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York Times identifies Nick Szabo as Satoshi Nakamoto on: May 19, 2015, 05:57:22 PM
I think satoshi is probably more than one person but Nick could very well be involved  (is that even his real name as well?)

This all seems very illuminati like with how they are having secret meeting without anyone knowing.

A secret meeting where they post a picture of it? Not very secret. I'm sure the event was publicly known as well.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Movie on: May 10, 2015, 06:25:39 PM
Anyone else think Bitcoin's history is perfect for a blockbuster movie?

. Satoshi releases bitcoin (Satoshi's face would never be revealed) --2008ish
. We then go into the lives of the first bitcoiners, Gavin Anderson, Hal Finney, etc --2008 to 2009
. Satoshi leaves Bitcoin unexpectedly and we go into a period where the rest of the bitcoiners have to cope with his leaving --2010
. We then follow Gavin Anderson working on Bitcoin and meeting the CIA --2010
. Mark Karpeles and Charlie Shrem are introduced(BitInstant and MtGox) --2010 to 2012
. The plot revolves around these characters trying to uplift Bitcoin and get adoption, such as making the TBF --2012 to 2013
. However, things go awry when Charlie Shrem is charged by the Feds -- 2013
. Bitcoin's current ATH occurs in November 2013 as the price peaks at $1200 per coin, now the movie gets social and we see them celebrating, etc 2013
. MtGox falls under along with Mark Karpeles --2014
. A large amount of companies gain interest in Bitcoin and start accepting it ---2014
. The Bitcoin Foundation falls and Gavin Anderson and other developers go to work for MIT labs --2015
. The movie ends with the Hard Fork for increased blocksize going through and cheers to the revolutionary future of Bitcoin
. The ending credits show the future of Bitcoin, it becomes a standard currency and largely accepted around the world --2020+

That's far too much content to put in one movie. The Silk Road story is getting its own entire movie so the above would be enough material for ten films though most of it would be pretty boring and not exactly 'blockbuster' movie quality.

That's my thoughts on the first Bitcoin movie. A 2nd one would feature Satoshi Nakamoto's life(face revealed), what led him/them to create bitcoin, the actual creation of Bitcoin, it's release, and the ending would be a cliffhanger on what Satoshi did after leaving in 2010.

How would anyone be able to write a movie on satoshi when next to nothing is known about him? Maybe if he gets exposed the blanks could be filled but at the moment we know nothing about him personally before or after he created bitcoin.
