Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gavin is so desperate about his fork? Is he hiding something?

how is he desperate, i saw some interviews on youtube and he actually looks and sounds like a genuine guy who really cares about bitcoin.
last time i've checked gavin hold a good stash too, everyone is doing everything for himself here, there is no genuine guy there are only some, not-bad guys and bad guys, and btw why he is not posting here anymore? I think gavin feels he did not take advantage of bitcoin enough being an early adopter so he wants to recreate the thunder by re-releasing bitcoin under his own terms. That's how I feel about it.

It is nice too see that more and more countries are getting involved in Bitcoin. Those figures are also amazing, a 34% increase is quite a lot. Hopefully these figures will continue to rise. This is great for us, Bitcoin owners, Bitcoin and Brazil. Also, do you think that the US will get these kind of figures in the near future?
I think the US will increase sharply if the nation faces a currency crisis much like Brazil is facing.

Hello,
I'm selling 5.7" Google Cardboards, $10 each in bitcoin. Have a stock of about 70 Cardboards. Will ship to anywhere in the world.
Cheers
FYI: They have them for $2 + free shipping on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111579877643The worldwide shipping he is offering may be worth it for people in some countries though.

Bitcoin is completely out of reach from government act. No government can directly ban the bitcoin. They may ban only the fiat converting services. Nothing else would be possible for any government as bitcoin is a decentralized it is not possible to shut down all the computers and Internet.
Yep that is totally true. People will still do cash transactions via localbitcoins in countries that have banned bitcoins.
