hahaha slushpool.com thats funny right there Smiley maybe slushspool. We were all once newbies i reckon.

At any rate man we are blocking today finally after the drought last month.

Who ever is doing the block dance keep dancing.

Nice I hope that keeps up.  I'm getting four s4 miners tonight and joining the pool... Hopefully my 8 th/s does help out Wink

Here's hoping. Difficulty just shot up. Either that or a butt load of miners joined the party. Reward dropped a fair bit last few blocks

i have problem i I set 250freq and i http://prntscr.com/5ut4us

Have you got all 4 pci connected?  When I overclocked my S3 I only had 1 per board plugged in and the hashrate dropped right off.  Now they've each got a Corsair 750W as they come with 4 pci each.
363  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need help! on: February 09, 2015, 11:47:45 AM
I am assume you got an Antminer S1?  $20 is a high for a USB miner.  There are support forums galore for the S1 just Google the name and you can find all kinds of support for it.

If your first getting into mining, do not let the people saying you will never ROI.  To many factors come into play for them to know for sure; Diff can go down which through the calculators off, You might have free power, etc, etc.  Your first few miners you will probably take a hit on as you will be using fiat, I did.  After you get some BTC in your pocket though you can buy miners for a decent price and make up for it.

Good luck.

No, I bet it's a U1, U2 or U3.  You wouldn't use BFGMiner for an S1.  Unfortunately I haven't used one of the little USB miners for a couple of years now and I can't remember how to set them up.  Sorry
364  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Setting up a wallet account for mining on: February 09, 2015, 11:29:40 AM
Can be done but you might have to have a separate account for each miner for some pools.  That might mean payouts take a long time as each miner will take a long time to reach the threshold.
365  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: antminer s1 not mining on: February 09, 2015, 09:23:13 AM
I'd hit that little reset button.

All my second hand S1's get reset and switched to DHCP.  Once my router allocates an IP address they keep it.  I just use Advanced IP Scanner to find them and then make a list.

I do it this way because although I have decent computing skills but networking is definitely NOT one of them.

Seriously?? How did you even manage to join the pool? There's a little site that could help you at times like this. It's called Google.

No problems here either. Business as usual
368  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: February 05, 2015, 08:09:35 PM
Everything slushing right along on US side. No problems, steady BTCcash from steady hash.

There are no problems here in UK either. Must be a local fault.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cryptoGlance :: Open-source, self-hosted, multi-rig monitoring tool with more! on: February 03, 2015, 10:23:00 PM
I'd completely forgotten about this software. I've resolved the issue with the S1 miners not showing. Turns out they just needed firmware upgrades. Will shut down my current monitor software tomorrow afternoon and give this a test drive.

Here's hoping it performs well because it has some HUGE boots to fill.

This topic used to be buzzing with people. Now it appears they're all gone and I'm just left talking to myself. Is there anyone out there?

Great little run. Pool hashrate must be fluctuating a lot because there's a reasonable difference in some of the rewards.

Disregard.  Payout done. And another since too. Nice!
373  Bitcoin / Hardware / Antminer S3 problem on: February 03, 2015, 07:05:18 PM
Hi.  Although not my miner can anyone tell me if this sounds fixable.

When I turn the power on the green ethernet light comes on briefly then stays off. The red light blinks 11 times  about once every 1 second or so. After the 11th flash of the red light the green light under the red one flashes rapidly for about 1.5 seconds and then Red and green light stays on. The fans run.

375  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: February 02, 2015, 02:08:11 PM
I got it for £330. No delivery charge. Works out cheaper than the sp20 as I will have to pay shipping and customs.

I'm in UK. I've also just won an SP10 on ebay. Might postpone the SP20 for a week or so while I get it installed.
377  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [9000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: February 01, 2015, 12:20:02 PM
Well, after all the troubles of falling prices and massive block times I've had a long think and have come to a decision.

I'm ordering an SP20. Time to move away from Bitmain and give someone else a chance to impress me.

BTC Guild is worse than Slush.  Came back sooner than expected.

I'm spending a few days on BTC Guild just to see what my earnings are like there.  Only a week.
