1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need a real return to altcoins. on: August 06, 2026, 10:07:24 PM
It be really hard to get back the 2013 era in Altcoins to be honest, that era was like that because it was entirely a new innovation, and devs were building real projects that centered on use cases, not the what we are seeing now. The project owners were more sincere and honest back then in developing real projects. And investors were not disappointed that much. They were investing and were seeing results.

But today investors have seen a lot from many failed projects, failed promises upon promises. Now investors are scared and extremely careful to part ways with their money. Investors don’t know which project is real anymore. And this will make it difficult for such era to return again.

3  Economy / Economics / Re: Poverty is orchestrated by man. on: August 04, 2026, 08:39:35 PM
Poverty is not conditions that produces itself but it is due to humans actions. Sometimes by the government or sometime by the system or sometime responsible man itself. For the better future one has to put immense efforts. In my observation, when a person does not take decisions timely, or if do not make immense efforts or avoid to take risk or poor planning. This attitude also put himself in  condition of poverty. Goal oriented or hardworking man can change his living standards by his will. Those who are waiting for someone who come and help them from getting out of his situation, often remains poor. Only the will or Self determination is a tool that provides to overcome the poverty.
but do you know that the entire system of people having to work was orchestrated by people who first saw the light and took over leadership before the masses eyes were opened. In an ideal world, one is never expected to look for jobs without getting the jobs, while others will have look for jobs and have it immediately due to who they know.

So how do you expect the ones that gat no jobs or other source income to survive? If the government or whoever that designed the system don’t deliberately to keep some people in abject poverty to make it easier for their control over the people, they would have made it possible for everyone to have equal opportunities and free access to jobs.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Technical Knowledge Alone Does Not Protect People From Scams. on: August 02, 2026, 01:02:01 PM
You are very correct, lack of updates can make someone vulnerable to scammers, therefore we have to always stay updated. Scammers always change their tactics when people become familiar with the old ones, and  learning about new scams can also help you avoid becoming a victim.

The reason why scammers are still getting success is that they continuously update there attack vectors and there are people who remain unaware of there latest strategies. People who don't update them self regarding new techniques of scammers are potential target of scammers. Scammers rely on mistakes of people like they have to download malicious files or click unknown link. It is not necessary that only non-technical people will be victim of scammers but technical people who are not aware of whats happening in current cyber world can also become victim of scammers.
Not all scams happen online, scams also happen offline, and it will interest you to know that a large percentage of scams are taking place offline. And when you come across such offline scam related activities, being technical with online stuffs and avoiding clicking of links won’t matter. People are scammed when they can’t control their greed level and desperations of getting everything at once. When you are not a greedy or desperate person, you will hardly fall for scams.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Underdeveloped countries on: August 02, 2026, 12:09:11 PM
A country that want to develop and progress economically, must first get rid of themselves corrupt and greedy politicians and corrupt leaders at all levels. Provided that a country is run by greedy people they will never grow. Most of these countries we see as under developed can become developed countries in less than 5 years if they can actually get themselves good leadership that will put the interests of the country first. But the question is, are the western powers or world power countries willing to allow these under developed countries developed?
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is University education mandatory for All? on: July 30, 2026, 05:28:02 PM
University education is not mandatory for all. When you say something is mandatory, it means it is a must that everyone will acquire it in order to be accepted in the society. But that’s not how it is in our society today. University education is a choice or preference. Go to university if you want, and if you don’t you are good and fine. Provided you can conduct yourself very well, and coexist with others peacefully without the university education.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is casino rating so important before gambling? on: July 28, 2026, 10:30:43 PM
You can’t hide bad reputation forever by paying for good ratings forever. A time will come when people that are dissatisfied with your services will also give their own reviews, and each day the numbers will keep increasing, till it surpasses the people you are paying, and before long you will lose genuine customers, then we will see if you will continue paying for ratings when you are not making profit.

However you can always search for casinos with most active monthly users, to see the casinos that are generating more traffic’s. The ones with more traffic, are most likely to be the trusted casinos by gamblers. Because people gamble more where the services and withdrawals are standard.

11  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: CZ gave advice but he seemed to advertise Binance and Trust wallet. on: July 27, 2026, 04:42:13 PM
Edited out

Reputation? Lol
I guess you still have a lot to learn. If it were by reputation, CZ wouldn't be able to show his face because his reputation should have been ruined since.
Well I don’t know your resentments towards CZ that’s making you sound this way about him. As for me he’s a man that I hold in high esteem. You can’t take this away from him, as far as the crypto industry is concerned today, CZ is an icon.

Quote
The mistake you make is thinking he cares about you. He doesn't care about you and your coins; if he did, he wouldn't ask you to keep your coins with an exchange. Or do you think it's a coincidence he mentioned companies and services that he created?
He don’t need to care about me, he is just doing his business and every business person will promote their brand when they have the opportunity. He said if you can keep your assets safe on your own, use a noncustodial wallets, but he suggested Trust Wallet as his personal recommendation. That doesn’t mean you must use Trust Wallet.

I believe he was just passing a message, and used the opportunity to promote brands he has interests in.
I will never encourage anyone to store their assets in a cex, but I understand what CZ tweet was all about and I won’t crucify him for promoting his preferred brands.
12  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: CZ gave advice but he seemed to advertise Binance and Trust wallet. on: July 27, 2026, 10:38:30 AM
Promoting Binance by the closure of Bitmart and BitMEX is not a neutral advice at all.
I have no issue about him promoting Binance he spoke about self custody showing how these can be worse but at least Binance is still a better CEX than many.

That aside, I'm not surprised he is trying to promote Trustwallet because he has done something similar before and I think it was about him teaching or enlightening others about non custodian wallet and then he was seeing users leaving his exchange and then start finding ways to make them remain.

I hope people can see the truth and lies here, Trust wallet is not a good example of a trusted non custodian wallet, hopefully they see people like this in as much as they want to stand for truth will find a way to bend things for profits.
there are people that have used trust wallet for years, and they don’t have issues with it. I have used trust wallet in my early years in crypto, I never had any problem with it. CZ is not a newbie in the crypto space and I believe he knows what he’s doing. I don’t think he will promote anything fraud or anything that will put people’s assets in danger, knowing the impact that will have on his reputation. You might not be a fan of trust wallet, that’s okay. But trust wallet is not a bad choice entirely to store some of our assets.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful if you connect to public WiFi on: July 26, 2026, 10:50:11 AM
You are right about this and we have discussed about it on this forum often, but your topic about it after a long time ago is also good so that many newbies can learn from it.

When I rent hotel room which is the place I noticed I am being offered free WiFi, I just decline it. I have enough data already and it is a huge amount of data.
You know many people are not aware of this, they see free WiFi as an opportunity to benefit something from the WiFi providers, but they don’t know the danger they are exposing themselves to. I have always been cautious of anything free all my life. Free things have hidden cost.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What good business to start in this current economy? on: July 22, 2026, 07:08:18 PM
You can start selling food items that people consume everyday. No matter how hard the economy is, people are always going to feed. Selling a couple of those essential food items that you know people in your neighborhood always need on daily basis won’t be a bad idea.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2026, 12:47:32 PM
I think this guy has gotten it all, winning all these awards for his country only tells one thing, for him to take a bow. At some point I was saying that after several injuries Rodri has become slow in that midfield, he wasn't as mobile as he used to be but after watching him in this FWC I saw a different player and how he made the midfield of Spain to look easy and the coordination was impressive.
Winning the ballon d'or again is another thing I'd say no, because the last time he won he never enjoyed his playing time on the pitch, it has been one injury to another and I'm even surprised that he was called up for the Spanish national team, so is a no no to me on the Ballon d'or.
Why would you say a no no on the Ballon d’Or for Rodri? Who is more deserving of the award if not for Rodri? To me Rodri is the most deserving of the award after his exceptional performance in the World Cup. He won trophies at club level last season and his club narrowly missed out of the league title. In a World Cup year, the best player of the tournament always have an edge when it comes to who win the Ballon d’Or ranking. I’m 100% backing Rodri to win it for the second time.

It’s a ridiculous amount Chelsea paid for that player. Morgan is a talented player but I’m sorry he’s not worth that amount. This is a player that couldn’t didn’t make the England X1 under Tuchel, he was mostly brought in as a substitute. I wonder why his price was up to the amount Chelsea paid. The two British records that were set this season in the transfer market are not worth those amounts.

The inflation of the transfer market is crazy and every team is taking advantage of it to hype the price of their players, Rogers had a good performance last season but he's not worth that amount, Chelsea only paid cause they were out of options and the coach needed Rogers in his team. If you're talking about not making England's first team what would you talk about Matues Fernandes that was relegated but West Ham still sold him for a very huge anount to Tottenham, it's crazy how these English teams hype the transfer fees of players.
Out of options you said?  well it will interest you to know that there are many players out there that will give exactly or more of what Rogers will give to Chelsea at a cheaper price. Signing a player for a big price doesn’t mean the player will perform well for the club. Go to other leagues you will get good players between $60m to $80m, and this is the range I placed Rogers to be worth in the market. This is a panic buy, one that I believe Chelsea will regret.

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 18, 2026, 11:41:16 PM
France has scored 2 goals immediately after returning for the second half in less than 10 minutes and the score is currently at 2:4, are we going to see a 4:4 full-time result? Well what is interesting is that Kylian Mbappe has scored his 9th goal of the tournament and also made an assist that helped Bradley Barcola to score which means that if Kylian Mbappe scores another goal now he will be the most likely favourite to win the golden boot.
Why did England wanted to keep Thomas Tuchel till Europe? He is not a good coach, he has made couple of errors in this World Cup that some coaches did less than that and get sacked.
The players are also contributing to this match result tonight; they have been leading by four goals in the first half, now they have already conceded three goals in the second half; the French couch has made some changes that changed the game in the second half, while Tuchel couldn’t respond to their changes to balance the game, he was just waiting for magic to happen which is never happening.
If care is not taken, this game might end up in a penalty because England is under pressure.
Sometimes we just have to keep faith and trust the coach and the process. Although I agree with you on certain things. If Tuchel had lost tonight game, he would have been shown the exit door. I was thinking he wasn’t going to bring in Jude and Anderson. The moment they came in the game balanced. Although if Olise had been clinical with his chances earlier, it would have been late for England.

Why I don’t really support this idea is that, those threads, and the discussions that were discussed in them were made not just to be of help to the people that participated in it back then, they are there to also be of help to future readers of the threads. If someone who’s going through the threads has a question or something to add to the thread, what are they going to do?
