1  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Im selling Vintage lp albums & Cassette tapes For btc or ethereum+ on: February 21, 2023, 01:23:35 AM
This section is for crypto related collectibles like https://scarce.city/marketplace/physical/the-bitcoin-record and https://hodlr.rocks/satoshi-series/the-invisible-hand-series-of-12/
There is a 12" Bitcoin record out there (limited to 250 pcs. or so). If you've got that one to sell => people might be interested...

Otherwise use https://www.discogs.com like everybody else on this planet.

Found this for the autograph/hologram versions: 50 sets of which 20 were for the hardcover encyclopedia => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1717024.0

@krogoth: what do you think about these: cash cows or appreciable collectibles?
'Liechtenstein - 2022 Crypto Stamp 4.1 - Special Edition Imperforate' https://www.wopa-plus.com/en/stamps/product/&pid=76330 and the
'2022 Crypto Stamp - In Memoriam of Princess Marie of Liechtenstein' stamps? https://www.wopa-plus.com/en/stamps/product/&pid=76332

Limited to 5.000 pieces each but just because there is a qr-code on them... especially the Princess stamp is just ugly and in no way innovative.

@BibiFricotin: you can buy (and wear!) a Copper Membership for the board here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote and most restrictions are gone  Wink

Also, the UN crypto stamps series II has been out for a while:
https://unstamps.org/shop/un-crypto-stamps-series-ii/

@BibiFricotin: if you are interested in crypto stamps you really should dig a little bit into @krogothmanhattan's work in this area like here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5412935.0
You are pretty much at the source when it comes to crypto stamps (no BS) and maybe there are still some Cypher Stamps left http://www.crypto-stamps.com/cypher.html
=> totally worth it; wouldn't wanna miss them in my collection!
6  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SALE] Alpen Coin - Denarium - 1HoDLCLUB Poker Chips on: February 02, 2023, 08:07:30 PM
That's what I thought, too. Just wanted to hear it from someone else... thx @Mopar

PM sent.

General Alpen Coin question: Why is the serial number of the coin in the picture (A373) way higher than the official mintage of 240 pieces?

This happens to be for several other Alpen Coins as well (2020 series, Vreneli series) and I'm just curious what happened here:

8  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST/PRICE CHECK] Lot of 22 Polymerbit Notes inc. Errors on: February 01, 2023, 05:11:11 PM
From the Polymerbit notes collection I built up in the last years you'll find retail-prices (= upper limit) for some of them here: https://www.coinsofnakamoto.com/collectibles/notes/

Some notes are worth just 10 bucks (like the garlic & via notes), most notes are between 20-30 bucks (like the LTC, ETH, 1776, bees, triangle, 1/10th, 1/20th, Test & Custom).
The Monero note was sold recently here on the board and from what I see just a few could be worth more, like the blue 0.1 BTC note... see link above!

I bought most of my Polymerbits in bundles, averaging at about $25 per note of the notes I see in your pics.

I can't tell you prices for the notes I'd be interested in (red 1 BTC, violet 20, orange 100, brown 200, blue 10 MBTC... sry for the abbreviations used) but I wouldn't pay more than the $25 per note already stated, maybe $50 for the red 1 BTC. But that's just because I like it and I don't have it yet.

Edit.
Of course: price estimates are for unfunded notes.
9  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Titan Mint Coins- Serious Issue- ***NEW UPDATES*** on: January 30, 2023, 06:14:14 PM
>85 BTC moved by titanmint vs. 1-2 BTC stolen by yogg => that's a new life vs. some 'gambling depts'  Undecided

I have no BTC in this but logical thinking tells me: if this Tim guy isn't cooperating instantly somebody from California might make sure that he isn't already on the run.
Lawyers won't help if titanmint makes 'holidays forever' at a nice place without extradition treaty, right?

Website is back online again (could easily be a diversionary tactic):

THX @Eclipse33 for doing this auction!

Pacific Standard Time is by far not the time zone I'm living in but I guess we all know now what happened to the premiums... not even the initial sales price in Dollar (160 USD if I'm correct) has been reached: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5390070.0

THX to @krogothmanhattan for the NFT and also gifting it to the other bidders and harmed people!

20  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Breached or Scam coin makers list on: January 27, 2023, 07:33:39 PM
In contrast to this list of scammers and their scams, perhaps it might be useful or at least the yin to this yang to make a list of coin makers that haven’t scammed. Maybe rank them by date and suspected liabilities so people can see who has respected the trust that this community has given them the longest. I think it would be great to display that not everyone in this community is trying to make a quick buck and some are worthy of the trust they’ve received over what spans more than a decade now for some.

This instantly reminded me of the DIY grading proposal I drafted a while ago where 'Trust' & 'Collectible Features' need to be gathered by community effort.

I guess the 'Historical Timeline of the Physical Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency Collectibles'-thread is a good start but it will take some more OGs and their knowledge to put together a reliable database of all coin makers: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174217.0

Happy to help anyway wherever I can help because the topic itself is crucial for our hobby.
