61  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any one heard about www.igot.com on: October 15, 2014, 08:05:29 AM
Turns out they un-shackled my account on the weekend but forgot to tell me.  Oh well, back in business.... finally.
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any one heard about www.igot.com on: October 14, 2014, 10:38:19 PM
My hard earned has been locked up in igot for a very long time. I have been unable to move any funds around for more than a month.
I stupidly let a friend who wanted some coins fund my account via bpay and my account was frozen under their "know your customer" rules.
I had to supply identification for my friend in order to unlock my funds.
I supplied the ID requested more than 2 weeks ago and they still haven't managed to verify him.
Replies from customer service have been kurt and lacking in any detail as to why this is taking so long.
They have been happy to accept further deposits and have been happy to let me spend said deposits on more BTC but won't let me sell, withdrawal or move BTC.
This is doing my head in.
I have a support ticket that's many pages in length, most of which is made up of me whinging and begging.
Can anyone tell me if verification should take this long (it didn't when I verified myself) ??
Or is there something weird going on?
They even mentioned that "my friend could be a member of ISIS for all they know."
They have enough ID to leave no doubt that everybody is who they say they are, and there is a paper trail a mile long that would cover their arses should anything untoward happen.
I don't get it.

Why is it the Dev's fault that you lost your SSD to a dodgy online casino??  Man up and chase your SSD down yourself you irresponsible twat!  If you cared about this coin you'd be leaving the Dev alone to do what Dev's do: DEVELOP!

Stop clogging up this thread with your whining or you'll find yourself on everyone's ignore list, including the Dev's.

It is the OFFICIAL SSD casino you f***ing idiot

The Dev's done what he can, it's not "his" csasino.
I have no doubt that if he receives a reply from the casino operator after he was kind enough to email him for you, that you will be the first to know.
You are a whining little bitch and have turned this positively charged thread into your own personal sookfest.
Welcome to my ignore list dickhead. Please nobody quote this selfish inbred, I never wish to see his posts again.
Namaste everyone else, lets buy up this coin while it's still cheap and forge a community to be proud of.

How'd you know it was a budgie I was smuggling? I reckon it looks more like a wedge tail eagle....
Is it time to start pumping this coin?
Are we ready?
.... Cause I (not my alter ego Tony) think this coin is the tits and deserves to soar like the eagle in my namesake's pants.

Well, I like what I've been reading... This newbie is IN.
Keep up the good work.

Bitcoinexpress. As a newbie and someone who stands to lose a great deal because of your sociopathic bullshit, I can either appeal to your sense of decency and belief in crypto, or I can get pissed off....   I'm pissed off. FUCK YOU from Australia. If you ever leave your mum's basement (or teat), please come to Australia. We love people like you.... You'll find your well deserved place in society real quick down here.
Here's a bet for you, if your attack fails you give me your account, if it's successful, I offer you a trip to Australia where I will show you off to all my peers and where your beautiful, warm sole will be appreciated and caressed.
What say you?

Pardon me, I'm new around here... But my fresh perspective is that spoutnik comes across as rather hurt in the butt. In fact I can sense his ring burn from the other side of the world.

BTC was featured on Australia's flagship, fear pedalling, commercial network, gutter journalism driven,  current affairs show.... Typically dumbed down but still gracing the screens of millions of "mainstream" fuckwits across our wide brown land. The closing comment is a killer, and delivered in a deadpan but brilliant manner. It's only short so give it a watch:

In 30 minutes, as a precaution against the attack threat, XMR deposits and withdrawals will be frozen for 24 hours and all funds put in cold storage.

I share the OP's sentiment and am scared shitless..... except my exchange froze my account after I let a third party deposit some funds so any chance of getting out (and probably back in again) has gone. This is totally beyond my control and some of the trolls on here are doing little to ease my pain.
Therefore, there is no adjective in this world I can use that describes Sevvero better than "cunt".

Severro, you are a total cunt and I  hope your negative shit is affecting your body and mind in the most hideous way possible. Consider this a curse you piece of shit.
Namaste to the rest of you, even falling. At least falllling's short stupid posts  have a shred of sarcasm/irony/humour to them and are obvious in their troll like nature. The nasty tripe you've posted in this thread exposes your bad, bad self.
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need to retire already on: September 18, 2014, 03:37:49 AM
I've got 30 grand in BTC and 50 grand in a shitty savings account, no job and no house.  I'm dreading returning to the workforce but it's gotta be done.
I'm not quite 40 and even after 6 months of having a break from working, I'm still not bored... I never get board because he who is awake is constantly amazed.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2014, 01:10:28 PM
I've got nothing left to sell, but I have balls of steel.... and if you listen very carefully you may hear them clanging together as I walk up the stairs to bed.
Goodnight from Australia fellow bulls... Good news tomorrow, I can feel it.
Hodler for life.

Too late! I'm up to my nuts in guts as far as my btc investment goes... I just bought 1 btc worth of monero in the hope it'll save me from having to sleep under a bridge for my whole life.

By the way, work is overrated, and by the time you are 40 you will likely realize that work is overrated b/c you can certainly find better and more interesting things to do with your time, if you were to have sufficient financial freedom to be able to allow for such choices.

Amen.

Seconded.

How's this tale for an example of how shit the banking industry is in my country, especially regarding BTC:

Earlier on I mentioned that a good friend of mine wants to buy around 10 BTC. He's new to the party but smart enough to see the potential. Anyway, he can't be bothered jumping through all the hoops to get an account with an exchange as it takes weeks for full access and it's a pain in the ar$e.
I thought I'd just buy them for him and send them to his wallet. So I gave him the Bpay number of my exchange account to deposit his fiat.
He sent it through and has now had his bank account frozen for what is a "suspected fraudulent transaction"!

1: It's only $5000
2: It was paid through a legitimate channel.
3: WTF??

79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have you invested more than you can afford to lose in Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2014, 07:13:25 AM
33 percent of my savings in. Sold my house last year which amounts to all my savings. So 1/3 in and the rest of the house money just sitting in a savings account.... I can't help but think that my money would be fairly safe parked in BTC with a sell order placed just below the market's farthest "dip" to save me in the case of a BTC disaster. Then, should things go north in a hurry, It'd be happy days.

If this wasn't the bottom, we would have seen the usual weekend drop.... Or have I spoken too soon?

I just convinced a friend of mine to throw 5 grand at some BTC.... I've got a feeling that by 9am (Australia time) tomorrow the uptrend will be in full swing and he's gonna pay too much.
