2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How Profitable can Antminer L9 get? - Dogecoin Mining on: Today at 12:15:30 PM
Talking about this 17GH/s version: https://oneminers.com/products/antminer-l9-17-gh-s?_pos=2&_psq=L9&_ss=e&_v=1.0

When I used 3rd party calculators i got to $49.37/day with electricity price of $0.05/kWh...

Do you mine Dogecoin? What is your take on Dogecoin mining?

Since Elon Musk literally created a D.O.G.E. (Department Of Goverment Efficiency) Department, I think he has some more plans with it lol.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can altcoin projects that lost 99.60% of their value recover? on: Today at 08:30:10 AM
Mostly these coins are just rug pull and as said before " -99.6% loss requires 24899.999% rise in the price just to get back to 100%." soo, I think you can answer it yourself

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance about to list Kaspa? on: January 17, 2025, 08:48:59 AM
If it is profitable to you with mining, I'd like to congratulate you. Because with what I have seen, with a couple of miners that mines it, they've told me that it's no longer profitable.

Do you guys think it is possible? Do you think it will move the Kaspa's price?
Oh, I thought that it's already on Binance but yes, there is a possibility that Binance might list it on their spot. Because other known exchanges have it already but that doesn't give a guarantee though because they might not as well.  Tongue

For me, it is kinda profitable, although there are better miners right now, but with the electricity price thatr I have on the hosting I use, it is profitable. Cheesy
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance about to list Kaspa? on: January 17, 2025, 08:47:54 AM
Binance is not listing Kaspa. Kindly wait for their official announcement here @binance_announcements on TG.

As far as i know, i see no signal from Binance to list Kaspa. They have not integrated Kaspa blockchain to their hotwallet, which mean they have no plan to list Kaspa on their exchange site.

This was after i took some minutes searching Kaspa on Cex Alert. It's always notified me which crypto is gonna be added by Binance. When i searched Kaspa, i found nothing there.

I feel like they might be teasing us on their twitter tho!:D
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Is Binance about to list Kaspa? on: January 16, 2025, 12:16:51 PM
So I've been surfing through the twitter for a while now and literally ALL I SEE these days is that BINANCE is about to list Kaspa?

I mean With miners like these: https://www.asicprofit.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-ks5-pro-21th

Kaspa still remains as one of the most profitable coins to mine, while some also claim it solvest the thrillema. I also looked at Binance's twitter and it REALLY DO look like they are about to list Kaspa...

Do you guys think it is possible? Do you think it will move the Kaspa's price?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: January 15, 2025, 08:29:13 AM
Well I like altcoins that I mine, The altcoin miners tend to be WAY MORE profitable than bitcoin miners, but you can get the alt currency from your mining for example Kaspa coins and then transfer them into BTC and HODL the profit in Bitcoin Smiley

15  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Hosted Miners: ever considered claiming compensation from your hosting provider? on: January 08, 2025, 09:10:12 AM
Hello!

As a happy customer of oneminers hosting, I can share my experience with their hosting services for ASIC miners.

I’ve been hosting with them for a while now, and their uptime has been excellent so far. They maintain transparent communication and proactive maintenance, which minimizes any unexpected issues. On the rare occasion of a disruption (e.g., due to external factors like power grid issues), they were quick to address it and kept me informed throughout.

Fortunately, I’ve never faced significant losses requiring compensation. However, their policies are clear, and they seem fair about resolving issues responsibly.

I haven't needed to pursue claims because any minor concerns were handled efficiently by their support team before it escalated. They have a professional approach and prioritize customer satisfaction, so there’s rarely a need to go down the compensation route.

In general, hosting with a reliable provider significantly reduces the headaches associated with downtime or disputes. It’s all about choosing a trustworthy partner.

Hope this helps, and good luck in finding the insights you’re looking for!

The problem with any hydrominer is that it requires an additional fluid cooling unit. It is easier and cheaper to buy a noise box and an asic with air cooling.

But since you mentioned oneminers, which is cloud mining, I would recommend not using such services.

Well, it's not a cloud mining service for several reasons:

You actually own the ASIC miner being hosted. This is a major difference from cloud mining, where you’re just renting hash power and have no claim to any physical equipment.

Cloud mining often raises concerns about whether the advertised hash power even exists. Here, you can verify your device and its operation.

Instead of vague contracts, they provide a straightforward hosting service.

Unlike cloud mining, where fees are often bundled or unclear, you pay for the actual energy consumed by your device.

Since you own the device, you’re not locked into a long-term contract. You can sell it, upgrade it, or move it somewhere else whenever you want, which isn't possible with cloud mining.

When your device reaches the end of its lifecycle, you still have options—upgrading, selling, or repurposing it. With cloud mining, once your contract ends, there’s nothing left.[/li][/list]
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / DG Hydro 1 from ElphaPex: To Buy or Not to Buy? on: January 06, 2025, 08:51:15 AM
Hey everyone,

So, the DG Hydro 1 by ElphaPex is set to be released soon, and I’m debating whether or not it’s worth the investment.

According to: https://www.asicprofit.com/miners/elphapex/dg-hydro-1  the miner is expected to launch in March, with a current estimated annual profitability of $18,185/year (assuming an energy cost of $0.05/kWh)https://oneminers.com/pages/ethiopia-hosting-center

Of course, profitability will likely decline as more units hit the market, but if you can grab one in the first wave, there’s a solid chance to make a decent profit. Smiley

That said, I do have one concern. The DG Hydro 1 is a hydro miner, and my past experiences with hydro models haven’t been great—let’s just say they were more trouble than they were worth. 😅 Have these issues improved over the last couple of years? Are hydro miners more reliable now?

What do you think? Are you planning to buy the DG Hydro 1, or are you steering clear of Dogecoin miners altogether? Let me know your thoughts!

Cheers!

Follow which memes are trendy on socials and just try your luck. Every time you see a new meme that seems to be funny to you, check if theres a memecoin and buy some Cheesy
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making Altcoin Mining Profitable – My Two Key Tips on: December 18, 2024, 08:56:04 AM
Still I believe in KASPA coin. I studied white paper and technology and it looks like that it is superior to SOLANA and definitely to all meme coins and could replace iBitcoin in underground world (Bitcoin was believed to be economic underground now it is becoming full legit asset) and Kaspa coin can take his place as leader of underground asset. So from all altcoins I am betting on KASPA.

NOTE: this is not investment advice. Altcoins are big gamble and nobody in the world can at least approximately predict their future.

To this day this is just a speculation, could, might, etc. These days it is still better to HOLD most of your portfolio in BTC Smiley
