2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / USA.. JOIN THE MOVEMENT TO FREE FROM US TYRANNY (VERMONT) on: May 09, 2019, 04:29:27 PM
what if we built a crypto around funding for a state (VERMONT) to secede from the nation and become its own country free of USA tyranny.

total crypto freedom. with out any need for a passport or immigration laws.

the reality is we are becoming "prisoners of america not citizens"

lets fund roads and stores and everything else with a new crypto to free cryptopians from US tyranny.

right now im working on a new Ether token to do this very thing.

as of this FRIDAY i will be starting the movement to free american cryptopians from this BS.

POST your crypto Name if you support our movement and would move to VT

It might be interesting for an artist’s discography to be hosted on a blockchain mined by fans. You could judge an artist’s popularity by the hashrate of their chain.
You can judge artist's popularity by feedbacks that are left (both text and stars). Also I can't understand why do we need blockchain technology for holding and playing of musics, is there anything wrong with current methods? Can anyone tell me what's advantage of blockchain technologies here and also any logical reason to use them in this situation.
OP you want to reqch bitcoin to those people who "still" use car radios? There are a lot of people who use them, sirius octane radio and etc have very high demand.

i will ask bitmain today if they have an interest in the project, but i feel that it may be a while before there is infrastructure, again im putting a lot more emphasis and time in to this project now. putting together the feedback is great and helping to get a better feel for what everyone wants and what undiscovered and aspiring artists need or want, it is open to everyone.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BITCOIN RADIO on: April 16, 2019, 04:13:25 PM
using blockchain technology to hold and play all songs uploaded to it; commercial free 24-7, broadcast through a partnership with spotify or other radio company.

just use ipfs. no need to hype blockchain just because you want to share files with other parties 24/7.

or better, use soundcloud. no need for decentralized parties blablabla.

the idea of blockchaining the content would be to have it be emortalized, but from the sounds of it that may not be the way to do this, we are open to the idea of using soundcloud, personally i have some of my own original music on there. im going to put serious thought into this project today since it seems to be of interest to people.

really would like to hear positive feedback and utilize ideas or opinions,  thanks for the feedback, it helps. Smiley

I'm confused, you're building Bitcoin radio on the NXT platform?
You even call it Bitcoin radio in your token description: https://nxtportal.org/currencies/17177713140763688295

Be honest, if this just some idea you thought about for like 30 minutes?

How are you going to build this? By yourself?
Are you going to hire a programmer? What kind of budget do you have? Are you looking for investors?

What's the deal here?

its true that this is a 30 idea, but that is just the start of this as a developing and evolving piece.  to answer some of the others, The term BITCOIN RADIO is used so people understand,( edit ( it could be misleading ) so you will be able now to cash out in BTC ) its not exactly because its using the blockchain,   bitcoin radio sounds better to people that have no experience in bitcoin non the less cryptos in general.

the budget is low but hope is that some friens i will meet with in May will have some interest in the project.

not sure about investors, i suppose if someone was to offer, i could certainly consider the proposition.

to be honest with you i come up with a ton of ideas, this one is kinda taking off so i will pay more attention to it. Starting now this is my main project. we had a programmer for a different project, + i was thinking i would be the developer, the unity pro package sounds like fun to me, im not too awesome at programming but as we work into 2020 i believe developing apps becomes (fortunatly or unfortunatly) something joe shmo can put together, its sad to see but at the same time at least there will be a lot of good that becomes of it, or thats the hope i suppose.
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BITCOIN RADIO on: April 14, 2019, 08:29:56 PM
* the app buys and sells the JINGODOTS or TONES * the JINGO has to act as a key, owning 100 JINGO means you can upload your music. *
This alone would make or break your radio project, artists/uploaders being required to purchase something in order for them to earn would be something they won't do especially if they don't have the money to start with especially if you are targeting independent artists. If Spotify encourages artists to upload their songs for free you should do it as well as it will allow artists even the known ones to put their songs in your radio. Because in reality no one would be listening to your radio if you don't have those catchy songs people are really listening to. Plus with the idea that you are letting your users earn cryptocurrencies just by listening, they might just really be there to earn and not to listen your songs this would be disappointing for artists who really wants to be heard and and make a name for himself.

you have good points, we will have to see what happens; the project is definitely adaptable; thanks good feedback

using blockchain technology to hold and play all songs uploaded to it;

Another example of something using blockchain to make it inferior to other services....

I am sorry i dont understand what you meant
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BITCOIN RADIO on: April 11, 2019, 09:09:09 PM
mainly i just want to see the overall price of bitcoin go up and have higher success in communities ranging all ages.

the main feature i suppose is commercial free 24-7, from that point i guess we could make it do all sorts of things, but really its trying to reach bitcoin to those people sill using old school radios and car radios.

Edit: 4/ 16/ 2019;  Using NXT currency to reward users for listening and having uploaded content listened to. exchange in app for Bitcoin

im now working on making this a reality. if you have ideas or offers helpful to the project let me know thanks.

note: i magine this would work well if the Bitcoin miner itself were to second as a radio broadcasting device.
if you know who i should talk to to bring this idea to life just lemmi know Ok..  Grin

edit: 4/12/19; https://nxtportal.org/currencies/17177713140763688295
NXT platform should work for this i think
and also it is important to note that 100% original content used in the broadcasting, this could be a good way to get your name out there as a musician or just to hear sounds you like because you made them yourself. permissions would be needed to broadcast music that is mainstream

edit: 4/13/19; working on the website and conclusively this will be an app before it is run though the miners, but ultimately part of the goal remains in making the Miner itself musical in broadcast---------edit 4/16/2019 ---> not sure how long it would take to attain infrastructure of this nature, if possible and or if even necessary. we may just make our own broadcasting devices or give rewards for others broadcasting it, themselves.

* www.jingo.com is ready, just needs 48 hours to settle the domain ------edit 4/16/2019-----> may be put up as a different domain name.( yet to be determined, due to availability and other factors, but we should know by the end of the week i think )

* JINGORADIO was too close to JANGO (RADIO) so we changed it to BITCOIN RADIO instead

edit: 4/13/19; below is the NXT currency we will use to make this happen, this is the same as you will find at the NXT portal for JINGODOTS

JINGODOTS or TONES are used as currency for BITCOIN RADIO. free radio (no commercials, or ads, and 100% original content) * app where the users upload there own music; has to be original, * rewarded with an NXT currency called JINGODOTS * the app buys and sells the JINGODOTS or TONES * the JINGO has to act as a key, owning 100 JINGO means you can upload your music. * make a play list and be rewarded with JINGO, for having others listen to the songs they produce. *rewards are separated to individual songs being played as well as in to the playlists * the author of the song gets 1 JINGO every time someone plays their song, and bonus amounts of JINGO for the 10th, 100th, and 1000th hit the song gets. * the author for a playlist gets 0.25 JINGO for every song on there list that gets heard. * and rewards are givin to the listeners at a rate of 0.01 JINGODOTS per song they listen to. more details at www.JINGO.com

edit: 4/16/19;    BITCOIN RADIO app will allow for cashing out into Bitcoin (BTC) thus ("BITCOIN" RADIO)

4/16/ 2019 :

* today getting a quote on how much the cost would be to program the app. waiting to hear back from a developer.

*There will be advertisements on the website and possibly on the app until the BITCOIN RADIO is able to self sustain, I need money for cigarettes and energy drinks. hate to say it but they are necessary for the projects completion, thanks , with that said donations are accepted though JINGO.com.

* http://john777812mouse.wixsite.com/mysite   this is not the permanent domain name
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / start encouraging app games to accept bitcoin on: February 09, 2018, 04:24:31 PM
My project is a savings account of BTC for a game that I play called King of Avalon.

this is not a fully developed idea yet but if you have suggestions please do suggest.

the Idea is to get the game developers to look at bitcoin more seriously
and to help our alliance play and kick but in the game itself.

please do not delete
this is a legit project im now working on.

this savings will be funded by me, alliance members and supportive donations.

please comment I need Ideas to push this forward. if you would like to donate some BTC, simply message me. otherwise lets start a conversation on this.. it could be invaluable to the bitcoin community to have players that spend on in app purchases, to find creative ways to get an edge in the game they play.

again do not delete Moderator unless i am given a reason why and how to fix the problem

i think bitcoin will get a boost from popularity,,, I am trying to get the Games i play online to accept bitcoin for in app purchases by asking for people to donate to the cause and help encourage developers/ business owners,

Bitcoin recovers if you make the effort to do so ( be your own difference )

Donations are accepted on my other post here on bitcoin discussion, check it out please if you care to

my "identity" is consistent i use john fox as an american translation of my real name which is Portuguese. i have used john fox for more than 3 years now I also use it to mark my spiritual transformation from what i was to what i am now... I went though some bad experience and consequences If you do the research though I have no felony convictions which i am extremely grateful for. The person that got hurt god bless is 100% healed today 4 years later. I live still with regret and shame but This is the past god chose for me and so I live ... And no I believe more in [paranoid schizophrenia as my religion not so much god or what ppl think of when they say god] i believe in the higher powers lets say that (aliens and stuff).its a personal belief i try not to push on to others as most people will look at you like your crazy talking about aliens.    any way that is my story today I also healed I may believe in different things than you or most people but its hard not to when you genuinely hear voices and hallucinate things without being on drugs. I now embrace my difference and live well ... im doing mr.vermont on instagram and i sell JENGA both potential for full time jobs if they do well... sorry i didn't mean to take up so much space im stopping here.
thanks for listening

16  Economy / Service Discussion / coinbase screws the little guy on: March 09, 2015, 10:47:59 PM
Ive been doing business with coinbase for months now without a single problem, always polite, and accommodating when it messed up with whatever the issues were, small things here and there but in a recent email the company tells me to close my account because it is suspicious that i am using different names for my emails than my real name (OF COURSE I AM IM PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC)
enlightened to this fact after the first account was closed shortly there after they want me to close my other account, I ask why and am given no reason so I am intending on sueing them under the premiss that what they are doing is prejudice and that they only will not do business with me after they discovered i was schizo and of course probably unable to fend for myself well guess again this may be a nightmare in the making for coinbase
I really do not see them getting away with this one... all i ask is to do business with them like a normal customer and I will stop all of this ... until then fruxzizle thats a word i made up for backfire
pronounced FRUCKS ZIZLE
