801  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet+Dice - 200 Sats Every 3 Minutes + DICE! 50% Ref Commission! on: August 07, 2015, 12:35:38 PM
Can you add info about date/time of Recent Referral Commissions?

Thanks for the suggestion Prozet!  I like that idea, I'll put it on my todo list and probably have it up in the next two days or so.
802  Economy / Auctions / Re: Great domain name: Online Reserve on: August 07, 2015, 04:31:54 AM
Nice name you got there. Has it been used for anything yet that you know of?
Also when is the expiration date / renewal due for this domain?
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and remittances: Can it work? on: August 07, 2015, 04:26:36 AM
Remittances is one of the big markets for big coin, and I absolutely think it can work. There are lots of people that work in wealthier countries and send money back home. If bitcoin were to see wider adoption it would absolutely dominate this space.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the next adopters? on: August 06, 2015, 07:57:40 PM
BTCBTC Politicians BTCBTC

Yes they seem to be using it as a way to appeal to the younger generation.
How many politicians do we have now that accept btc? 3?
805  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin becomes 100% unregulated in Japan!!! on: August 06, 2015, 12:53:11 PM
Can someone explain what he means by "reliance on third parties"?  Is he referring to the fact that bitcoin requires nodes and miners in order to transact? Or is he pointing out that most people use 3rd party wallet providers?
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UBS and Barclays Experimenting with Ethereum Platform on: August 06, 2015, 12:49:31 PM
"Could it be a serious competitor to bitcoin?"
Who knows maybe, it would need to gain a lot more followers for it to do so. I kind of like the sound of Ethers as a currency unit.
The thing that more and more banks are starting to realize is that "is crypto-currency a serious competitor to fiat". Absolutely!
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia takes first step toward Bitcoin as currency on: August 06, 2015, 12:45:16 PM
Using bitcoin to pay your taxes in Australia?!
Is the Aussie government getting the FOMO, so this is their plan to collect coins?  I'm thinking maybe.
808  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I made a blog! cryptocall.wordpress.com on: August 06, 2015, 12:41:33 PM
Nice looking blog, clean and easy to navigate. All your articles are showing under "uncategorized"?
Keep up the good articles!
809  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: August 06, 2015, 04:51:11 AM
I think the new question should now be: How much are people earning from posting to this thread?

...There's no reason for this thread to still exist!

PS: BTC0.0175 this week.

Thats extremely low.

That amounts to be $5 at current rates per week. I guess its free $5 in a sense. I seen some member saying the post but they make about like .2 btc week which is really decent also not sure how they can post so much esp maybe having too much time on their hands.

It depends on how much effort you want to put in. The person earning .2 BTC a week is make A LOT of posts (and probably has a higher rank then me. At my mid-level rank I'm getting paid 0.0014 BTC per post, which is significantly higher than other pay rates for my level...and I only spend a few minutes every few days, rather than hour per day.

The flip side is that I don't have big time to spend, so this works for me. But the member that said they make .2 BTC a week (TheKool1s) only made .0176 last week, so obviously he/she isn't earning the "big Bits" each week. (Bit-x campaigners have an open site to check volume and rate). I make 27% more per post!

A little bit of everything is a good combination. The signature campaigns are a good consistent income. Faucets can be fun, depending on which ones you go to. The best way for earning still is working IRL and buying your bitcoin each paycheck.
810  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: August 06, 2015, 04:43:27 AM
Nothing will happen because the price will have already adjusted long before the halving since people expect it to go up..

In other words, it probably won't move much upward or much downward, but stay at trends unaffected completely by halving.

Your forum rank doesn't give you much credibility. Isn't it just basic economics? Halving = less bitcoins. Less supply + consistent demand = rise in price.
Forum rank != credibility BUT
I agree with you that supply and demand will lead to a higher price, but I don't expect to see anything crazy in 2016. Once we get closer to 20 million is when the fear of missing out will hit.
811  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to start a bitcoin gambling Casino. on: August 06, 2015, 04:28:10 AM
Right, I forgot about ruby and perl for web. I'd stick to the more k bowl languages since they have more maintained crypto libraries.

It would make sense to choose a secure language in which code is easily maintainable.

so i need a lot of experience on these languages.

Html, css
Java
Php
python
perl
ruby
..........

how much time Java, php, python perl and ruby will take in learning basic to advance ?

Are people just throwing out random programming languages?
Why would he need Python PHP and Perl? These are all server side languages, you'll likely only need one and not all three.
Ruby is all purpose and can be used for both client and server side scripting.

If you want to LEARN, you should start with the easy ones, HTML and CSS. Once you have that down begin Javascript and PHP or Python.
Once you know those 4 HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP/Python all future languages will be that much easier to learn. They start to become very similar and you can start reading code like reading a book.

This will get you started with a dice site, if you are going for a full blown casino with graphics you'll need a team for sure.
812  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet+Dice - 200 Sats Every 3 Minutes + DICE! 50% Ref Commission! on: August 06, 2015, 01:21:02 AM
The dice portion has been restored after fixing an exploit that caused my faucet hot wallet to be emptied, twice. The exploit allowed certain malicious users to bet more than their available balance  Shocked
813  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Cipher/puzzle - 0.2 Bitcoins on: August 05, 2015, 11:48:42 PM
Someone should make a Map of what we've found and tried. it would make it much more easy !

People that might have spent a few hours trying different things probably don't want to share their work for someone else to pick up for free and solve the puzzle before them.  I for one, am terrible at these kinds of puzzles. Good luck!!
814  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ultimate Bitcoin Guide: How to Setup a Wallet, Buy, and Use Bitcoin on: August 05, 2015, 08:04:17 PM
Good link for newbies there litecoinguy. There area lot of new words and concepts to learn for most people when starting with bitcoin.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He cheated us! Here is the truth: on: August 05, 2015, 07:54:15 PM
lol.. litecoin guy.. sorry but "the associated press" got it wrong and just reported an old story thinking dorian was bitcoinsatoshi..
sometimes i  like your humour but sometimes people take what you say on face value and think its big news

I'm pretty sure that litecoinguys post wasmeant to be tongue in cheek and he didn't actually think that newsweek was right.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best alternative to blockchain.info? on: August 05, 2015, 07:33:41 PM
Like others have mentioned already blocktrail and blockr.io are some other block explorers that you might want to try.  I find blocktrail to be a little bit overwhelming with information sometimes. And then there’s the cool Japanese block explorer (chainflyer.bitflyer.jp), I especially like how they use little keyholes to represent a multi sig transaction.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: August 05, 2015, 05:54:48 PM
The value could be vastly huge! You have to consider panic buying as time goes on and we start closing in on the 21 million cap. Fomo could send the value through the roof
818  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Faucet+Dice - 200 Sats Every 3 Minutes + DICE! 50% Ref Commission! on: August 05, 2015, 12:08:48 AM
sadly that you have changed your math captcha

It is unfortunate I agree. But there were too many auto-clickers and bots bypassing the math captcha.
A few bad people ruin it for everybody else.
