41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partial Adoption of Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin/Litecoin) by China Court on: September 24, 2022, 02:19:01 AM
I don't know for other shitcoins, but if bitcoin can't be used as a currency but only as a trading instrument, then they are limiting its use and its users, bitcoin is a currency, it doesn't have to be issued by their monetary authority that they control for it to be that, 'consensus' works very fine in it being issued, and that is what makes it a currency that gives 'freedom' of use to people, but freedom is not a word that the Chinese government like to hear too often.

Bitcoin was originally created as a currency but gradually we forget it is a currency and treat it as a speculative asset. Our investors are also treating bitcoin as a trading instrument, a speculative asset, not a currency.

This is a commendable move from the Chinese government, which has an extreme stance on cryptocurrencies. Their initial acceptance of it as a commodity was a success, and given its volatility, there was nothing wrong with them listing it as a commodity.

The project you are talking about in this post is a complete Shitcoin coin project. These projects usually give a lot of profit in bull market but when the bear market starts, it is a good time to stay away from these projects. These coin projects disappear from the market. So it is always better to stay away from Shitcoin Project if you have an investment plan then definitely select good project and invest in Crypto market, there will be a lot of profit in bull market.

We can still invest in shitcoins, but not now, not with the bear market. Shitcoins are just pumping and dumping so they give good returns only during the bull season, with bear market we should focus on bitcoin and top coins as best. Investing in memes is extremely risky, especially new memes like OP coin mentioned, if investing in memes you can choose shiba or doge which is still safer.

Udinese managed to bring in a new striker last July he is Beto Betuncal who has scored 4 goals and 3rd place on the top scorer list
there's also Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra as the player with the most assist , the contribution of these two players can improve Udinese's performance able to survive in the top 3 , but I doubt they will be there until the end of the season.
at the moment the real revelation of this season: Udinese
I hadn't considered them at all, I didn't even follow their transfer campaign, but judging by how they play, they did everything very well
another competitor aiming for the cups, in my opinion
It's not very interesting because Udinese from season to season only struggles in the middle of the table, so it's natural that not many people consider him to be a competitor in the title race. But this season they started the season very well winning at home with a big score beating Roma 4-0 and Inter 3-1 it was an achievement, the next match Udinese will play against Verona which of course will also be full points for Udinese. After that, the competition for the top flight will happen again because Udinese will play at home against Atalanta, it is a match to fight for the second place in the standings, but if Napoli are not optimal then it will be a match to fight for the first place.

I have to say that Udinese have started the season quite well this time. I also didn't follow their transfer campaign. But I have to say that they have really impressed me so far this season. Rather, what I am concerned about is whether they can keep up the form they're showing right now. I think that there is a big chance that their form will fall a lot after a number of games are played. However, I really want the underdogs to do well this season as I like underdogs playing well.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 21, 2022, 11:56:29 PM
ICC funding policy is a joke when it comes to associate nations. They could potentially solve this issue if the ICC stop romanticizing test cricket for the associate nations and just focus on T-20.

Also about the highlighted part, if that was the case then BCCI will run away with more than 50% of revenue because ICC's 70-80% revenue comes from the Indian market only.

And this is why the election for the post of ICC chairman is so important (due in a few months from now). Already there are rumors that the BCCI may nominate Narayanaswami Srinivasan, who first came up with the pig-3 formula. However, it is not going to be easy. In order to win, BCCI needs 9 out of the total of 16 votes. At this point they can count on 6 votes. Getting the remaining 3 votes will be tricky, but some of the Associate nominees are reported to be very close to the BCCI. Imran Khwaja, Pankaj Khimji and Neil Speight are currently the associate representatives and out of that Khimji (Oman) is in BCCI camp.

I think that the election is going to be really important for the future of cricket. It might determine the future of cricket for the associate Nations as I think in order to spread cricket more ICC needs to divert its attention more towards Associate nations. BCCI have always found advantages from ICC and I hope that this thing change after the selection and  ICC will treat almost all if not all team the same.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 21, 2022, 12:04:09 PM
The second ODI between India VS England (women) will be played today. India has already taken a lead in this series and if they win today's match then they will win the series. I am an optimist about the performance of the Indian side but they cannot take the English side lightly. They have a couple of good batters who can change the game. Toss would again play a major role.

The match will start by 5:30pm Indian time. Indian women have the momentum with them, and they have won 4 out of the last 5 matches. I am so far impressed by their performance in England. They lost the T20 series 1-2, but showed a lot of determination and fight. One thing that worked for them is the fact that a number of the players have taken part in the W100 and WBBL franchise leagues. The WIPL is about to start in another 4-5 months, and that will present a significant boost to the women cricketers.

The Indian women's team are on a roll right now as they have got great momentum and I am hoping that they might win the next game against  England. Generally, I think that the Indian women's team is quite good at ODI’s compared to T20. and as they have won the last game against England they will have no pressure at least less pressure than England in the following game. I am expecting really of the cricket and may the best team win.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 21, 2022, 03:11:58 AM
Naah, ICC is trying.

They are organizing qualifier in the pacific region for T20 world cup 2024, and those teams consist of native players.
Vanuatu just qualified from Qualifier A, and will be playing against Philippines, Papua new guinea and another team from Qualifier B.

Qualifier B consist of japan, south korea and Indonesia. It starts from October 15 and you can watch it for free at ICC's website. I was watching QUalifier A and it was pretty fun. These teams had good quality batsmen and fielders, but they lack good bowlers.

Cricket is definitely expanding, it has seen many new additions in the last decade. Its expansion in new countries also depends on their culture. ICC needs to target school children and promote cricket to them. Which they are already doing in pacific region, not sure about Western hemisphere. It's a very loooong and slow process.

Pacific teams (especially PNG and Fiji) are not dependent on foreign players, as they have a long cricketing history. But recently these teams have seen their fund inflows reduced to 5% or 10% of the previous amounts, due to the changes in distribution criteria. Most of the ICC funds now go to teams with foreigners such as Oman, United States and UAE, because these teams are able to win matches as a result of their foreign imports.

I would classify associate nations to three categories:

Category A: Teams with nearly 100% native players - Scotland, Namibia, Nepal, PNG, Vanuatu, Argentina, Israel, Myanmar, Iran.etc. These teams in general are getting more and more irrelevant, as they are unable to compete against teams such as Oman who pack their XI with foreigners. Only exceptions are Scotland and Namibia.

Category B: Teams that used to have 100% native players, but now transforming towards 100% foreigner composition - Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Japan.etc. These teams want to stay competitive and they realize that the only way to do that is to pack their teams with foreigners. Two decades ago, 90% of the players in the Denmark team used to be natives. Now they usually have XI without any native players.

Category C: Teams with 100% foreign composition - UAE, United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Oman.etc. These countries doesn't have any native players and no one supports their matches from their respective countries. But in the end, they end up with the largest chunk of the ICC revenues, because they are able to defeat teams comprised of natives.

The problem is I don't think ICC is going to give the amount of money depending on how many native players they have on the team. They are always going to give money depending on how much revenue each team can make. And currently, they are not giving any penalties for having the whole team made out of foreign players. And as long as ICC does not take any steps against it the teams are also not going to change the way of having the whole team made out of foreign players.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 18, 2022, 01:54:58 PM
Quote
He added that he didn’t think he gave everything he could to the Lakers as he played alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who he considers “two of the best players in the NBA.” Schröder continued, “At the end of the day, I feel like for me, personally, I got to be comfortable in the environment I’m in. I love the Lakers organization and they did great things, but I think for me, and this is just business, I don’t think I fit in 100 percent.”
https://hypebeast.com/2021/9/dennis-schroder-explains-why-he-turned-down-84-million-usd-los-angeles-lakers-deal-boston-celtics
So when he turn down that $84 million contract, him and his agent says that he is not a perfect fight with the Lakers.
And now he change his tune, and agreed with a minimum contract? What a sudden change of event, isn't it. From "I don't what to play with AD and Lebron because I can't evolved and i don't need that money, to now, I'm fine with $2 million, show me the money!!!".
Wow! If that is true then we all know why it went sour for him.
A hypocrite player plus a bad agent is a recipe for disaster. I doubt he will get a better contract after this. He must show something different in this 1-year contract playing for the Lakers to please other teams and offer better than a veteran contract.
He's already creating a new path by showing his skills again in the Eurobasket, he should've used that as his upper hand as there are many scouts lurking around that league to make offers to a lot of European players.
Well, I bet he and his agent cannot wait anymore.

Dennis Schroder is 29 years old but it does feel like he is really old for some reason. And I really can't explain why. And I really think that the price that they have accepted is actually okay. Not that cheap in my opinion. And with this price tag, he is going to be a really good value for money. But I hope that he will be able to perform well with the Lakers. But I hope at this age he has not become prone to injury. Staying healthy is going to be a big priority for him.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 18, 2022, 12:55:25 AM

It's alright happens sometimes..
Anyway In regard to your latter observation. South Africa has a habit of pulling off a strong performance in Australia every single time but this time current proteas team is new and kind of weak when compared to the previous squads but they do have fair amount of match winners (bowlers) who are capable of change the tide singlehandedly, given conditions are favorable. IMO this should be a good contest although my money would be on Aussie.
After watching their performance against England and now announcement about departure of Mark Boucher as coach after this T-20 world cup most chances I have no positive feeling about them in Australia because they can't survive against them in Australia even their bowling attack is doing good, but their batting is surely needed good improvement which is not possible in these months.
Still we can expect much better competition between these two teams because Australia is also having habit of collapses again and again which is going to be good for them but here if their batting done good job then surely this is going to be amazing stuff and with this both teams can go through into WTC final 2023.
Don't get distracted by recent development in South African cricket. In the last 3 test series in Australia, they came as victorious every single time against an extremely strong Australian side. Actually, both sides were good and they used to put up a good show for the spectators when they visit each other for bilateral.

IMO Current sides are a pale imitation when compared to previous teams but still, we can expect a good contest

As far as I am concerned, South Africa versus Australia games are always very competitive and enjoyable to watch since both teams have a lot of experience and have faced each other enough times to know what their opponents are capable of. These two teams have played some very good cricket in this series, especially the South African team, which won the series 3-0. But I have to say that the last match was quite interesting because they won with only 9 both in hand.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in september on: September 17, 2022, 02:48:40 PM
September has been running for half but the market is still normal and not rising, in 2021 the market rising starts in september, if there is no significant increase in september then i'm sure 2022 will be like now, of course my hope is to rise soon so that my assets increase and can profit again.

Well, everyone wants the market to go up soon because most people are losing money because they didn't get out all their assets when the bulls took over. But the more people hope, the less it will happen, the market will not work the way you expect. September is always a bad month for the market and this year economic events are affecting the market, so don't expect a bull market this year.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So the ETH merge has finally happened on: September 17, 2022, 02:43:40 PM
it is a matter of pride for ethereum which can now merge into something new. I think POW is too expensive and not environmentally friendly. even ethereum itself when it was still mining POW cost a lot of gas although I'm not sure the main cause was because of POW. but since the merge the ethereum gas costs no more than 10 GWEI that's great.

You mean the ethereum gas fee has dropped, I haven't done any ethereum transaction since the merger was complete. Is that true? because I heard the merger only helps ethereum reduce energy consumption to a low level, can reduce energy consumption up to 99%, the gas fee issue will not be fixed in this batch.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin becomes second largest PoW cryptocurrency on: September 17, 2022, 02:38:01 PM
I'm a little confused about dogecoin. I know this coin uses POW system mining but judging by other POW coins such as Monero and Litecoin, why is Dogecoin actually above them even though Dogecoin seems to have absolutely no utility compared to the two coins. Is the community so much on dogecoin that it makes dogecoin the second POW.

Ranking is based on market cap, doge has no utility or usecase like litecoin or monero but it has a large community that makes doge cap bigger than other POW coins so there is nothing wrong with it being ranked on other coins. But look at doge's 24h trading volume which is much lower than other coins. The market cap ranking is not entirely accurate in this case.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 17, 2022, 02:30:53 PM
The Ethereum merge will not solve all the longings of the crypto community in general, but in the long run I believe it will have a very meaningful effect on the crypto world and given the current market share in the second position, it is very likely that Ethereum will become the next bitcoin.

What is the next Bitcoin? you mean it will take over bitcoin? The merger will be the beginning of a new era for ETH, ETH will have a lot of interesting improvements after this merge. This will make ETH unrivalled in the layer1 project segment, competitors like Sol, BNB, Atom will have to struggle when ETH moves to POS like them. But to be the next bitcoin or take over bitcoin is a pretty far-fetched thing. How can a POS coin replace a fully decentralized coin with a market cap twice as large as ETH?
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 15, 2022, 01:09:29 PM

You are talking about trading, not investing, aren't you? Considering my point of view on day trading, it is impossible that even you a top trader can't do it. But if you intend to invest in a coin and hold it the probability is higher and it has happened many times in the market. but finding that potential coin is very difficult. No one can say what coin you are, it's just made from yourself.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else feeling let down by crypto Play to Earn gaming sector ? on: September 15, 2022, 01:02:59 PM
Play to earn trend is not working well. Many best gaming project failed which is very bad sign for play to earn gaming projects. Axie was good game and many users took interest in this game and after that many new gaming project launched but it's did not give long term profit to users and now many gaming project failed to launch.

it is just a trend like other trends in the market, no trend is sustainable or will always be profitable for investors. I find it has done its job very well to help thousands of investors gain great profits, unfortunately some of the following Fomo investors were unable to make a profit. Trends will be temporary and will die after a while, so invest wisely and seize the opportunity at the right time.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic recovered? on: September 15, 2022, 12:55:42 PM
I can't say how reasonable the chances of a Teraluna Classic recovery are. However, this platform was once in a very good position. And was going to gain a lot of popularity all over the world. But today the platform is completely destroyed due to the negligence of the party.Trying it after destruction makes it look like complete boy's play. But even if there is any possibility of recovery, I will not give sure.

I don't think it was the team's negligence but a pre-planned collapse. You can see their team didn't take any action when UST started to collapse and they let it die quickly, then they wanted to create another luna to disclaim responsibility. It must be said that it was a very well planned plot. With the news that there is an arrest warrant for Dokwon, I hope the legislators will soon arrest him and hold him accountable for what he did to investors.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Solana a good investment in this 2022? on: September 15, 2022, 12:48:35 PM
Solana has attracted a lot of NFTs and projects into its platform, but it's still vulnerable to network outages. I guess investors are hopeful developers will fix the problem, as they haven't crashed SOL's price just yet. We're going to have to see whenever the Solana blockchain will improve over time or remain as is. If developers remain "sitting ducks", then SOL would have a hard time reaching a new All-time-high in price. I can imagine SOL soaring past $200 per coin if the network stabilizes for good. No one knows what will happen in the future, so we can only hope for the best. Just my thoughts Grin
Yes, it's true that if the SOL project developer can overcome and find a solution in a short time regarding blockchain blackouts when experiencing congestion, maybe this will have a positive impact on the SOL coin so that the coin will be increasingly in demand by investors, because so far if we pay attention after several blackouts that have been done then currently the price of the Solana coin has rarely experienced price pumping which indicates that many investors are not very interested in the SOL project anymore because the developers are unable to cope with the blackout.
Power outages happen most of this year and if true, we started bear season late last year so it's not hard to understand why sol hasn't had any recent pumping. Sol as well as the top coins have lost 80%-90% of their value against ATH, but now Sol is attracting many NFT developers showing that it still has a lot of potential to exploit. Sol is backed by top VCs so I think it's still a potential future project.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 09, 2022, 06:06:39 AM
Australia won the third match, and won the series as well. But once again, their top order collapsed. And it was poor bowling from New Zealand as well. From a total of 117/8, Australia managed to recover to 195/9, as a result of contributions from their lower order batsmen such as Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood. The last two wicket partnerships added 78 runs and proved to be very crucial in a low scoring match. Not very impressed with captaincy tactics from Kane Williamson. He should have used Boult and Henry to wrap up the tail.
After first two ODI Aussies won this series by 2 - 0 and third ODI is coming after two days but after watching this performance from both sides look like both have no idea how to bat 61 from Steve Smith and 38 from Mitchell Starc were enough for home side to reach at figure of 195 with Henry and Boult again demolish Aussies badly with seven wickets but after this what we have is more shameful for kiwis as they are not have good quality batting and losing wickets very quickly specially Zampa done good damage to them and have 5/35 which is his career best Kane Williamson 17 from 56 balls and Mitchell Santner 16 main scorer for them, they need to do something special for fight back have one win from this series and better future in their future otherwise they are going down and out from seen again for long time.

Really, what was this match? Neither team could score almost anything in this match. Australia scored 195 and when I thought New Zealand might have a chance, they got all out for almost 80. This was not what was expected. At least I did not expect that. Australia has won the series. They are leading 2-0 in this three-match series. Now I wonder if New Zealand will be able to do anything in the final match. But at the same time, I also expect Australia to try out new things. So New Zealand might actually have a chance.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: September 08, 2022, 10:37:22 PM
I think the real gambling here will be regards the second position of Brasileirão now. There are 6 clubs very close to each other, all of them able to conquer the 'silver medal' on the competition. Flamengo and Corinthians might be the favorite, but one slight mistake from each of them and Internacional, Fluminense plus both Atléticos can surpass and guarantee the position. It must be a tough dispute more interesting than the one for the first place.

Right now, we are in the midst of a very interesting situation in the league. The Flamengo team is playing very well at the moment.
But it is the same with international. In addition to that, there are so many teams that are very close to each other. There is no doubt that a very simple mistake can have a very negative impact on any team and there will be a heavy price to pay for any team that makes this mistake.

However, Palmeiras do not have to worry about anything. On the table, they are far ahead of their opponents. My opinion is that there are no teams right now that are capable of dethroning them at this point in time.

I expected such a result from Mourinho's team, so I bet on the minimum victory (without any totals or negative handicaps). Mourinho's teams play too rational football, and in my opinion it's more reliable to play 3-1 than to try to keep it to the very end with a score of 1-0. Juventus disappointed, it was the last result in my multibet and it burned out.
With Mourinho, he does not priroritize beauty and sexy football. He needs points and tittles. Minimize conceded goals and know how to score goals and maintain leading goals to end with 3 points for each match.

Roma did had great chances to score more goals but 3 points are what they have. It is enough for them and enough to make Morinho happy.

In future, they must improve conversion rate from expected goals, great chances to real goals. It is important in big matches and it can decide what team will win big match and win Scudetto in the end.

Both the teams created really good chances. And I think Cremonese played very well. They were denied by the goal post twice in that match. Obviously, Roma was the better team. Roma created a lot more chances compared to their opponent. But whenever Cremonese aimed toward the goal post of Roma and shot, it felt like there was always a danger. I agree that trauma was the better team in this match and Roma actually deserved to win. But it could have been very easily a draw result. I have to say both the teams have to work on their finishing. And I remember saying the same thing for Roma in the last match as well.
