1  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: March 22, 2024, 01:57:28 PM
Congratulations, it's just last December since you launch this service and now you are already getting that big volume. I think this will grow further in the future since stake has been one of the biggest casino in crypto, and hopefully maybe in the future more casinos will have that feature so you'll be able to intergrate it and they'll also enjoy the service.

Good luck to more success in the future...and thanks for choosing the forum as one of the platform in building your community.

Any chance you'll be running a campaign or promotion in the forum again?

Thank you for your message, unfortunately currently it will continue with Stake
Signature campaign might be less likely, but there will be some giveaways!

Compared to the statistics of first month, Poorbot is growing quickly. That's a huge achievement in just 4 months. The exchange fee was 0.3% when you launched your exchanger. When and why have you increased it to 1.2%? Wasn't the 0.3% fee rate enough to generate revenue? Anyway, you have to update the image in your main post with the current fee rate.

Thanks! Yes, we launched with 0.3% and after a while it was announced on the website it would go up to 1.2% on 6 March
0.3% was a great way to reach more users, but it wasn't sustainable in the long run because of the constant need of liquidity and rains sent
I think it's still pretty good, compared to other instant swap services

Also thanks for reminding me about the image, I have updated it now!

We have reached +$250k volume, +5k exchanges and +700 users in ~4 months. Shoutout to each and every one of you who chose poorbot!
Tonight, poorbot rained +$2k on EN, TR, PT, FR chats!

Again, thanks to everyone who used poorbot to exchange their coins, and best of luck to you all!

your exchange has encountered and error, support has been already !!!!!!!!!!

Has been already resolved, sorry, new version is better, shouldn't have errors like that anymore.
4  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: February 22, 2024, 04:56:02 PM
How about other fiat currencies such as CAD, INR, etc.?

They have regulations and requires more KYC and stuff, so better stick to crypto only Smiley
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: February 18, 2024, 03:06:08 PM
Just sent 50.07254460 XRP And an error message appears, I want my money back, please 🙏 User: yankevin

Have you received your XRP back or have you succesfully exchanged it to other coin? Kindly give an update
The OP is inactive for a week already now, it seems that he is away from online activity so it can be the reason if there is an error with the exchange bot.
So an update for you will be useful for others, at least if your case is resolved then others will not worry to use it to exchange their coins.
If your case is not resolved, then it can be a warning for others not to use it, at least until they resolve your case.

Hi, sorry for late response, I was away so I couldn't check the bitcointalk thread, however support email & bot maintenance was not interrupted. Sometimes Stake will fail to send the tip, so exchange gets stuck.
All errored exchanges are usually fixed in a few minutes, or few hours. Your exchange was unfortunately delayed a bit, ~6-7 hours.
This issue with bot will be fixed though, sorry about the inconvenience!

Also for future reference, if you're having issues with the exchanges, better send a support email, it's checked more frequently than this thread!

Thanks for your interest

Hopefully, your issue has been already resolved by the Poorbot team. What was the actual issue for the inconvenience which you have faced?

@poorbot, why haven't you directly posted the support email address on your website and here in the forum? It will be better to create a telegram group or channel (with chat system) for exchange service so that the user can get a quicker help from you there.

Hi, contact address is at the footer so maybe it's not easily seen, it will be added to a place with better visibility. Thanks for your attention!

Since about 1 month, poorbot has reached 1k+ exchanges and 190+ users, with a total of $36k+ volume!
Thanks everyone for your interest in poorbot, and best of luck!
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: January 07, 2024, 05:09:35 PM
But the bot's purpose is to allow people to exchange coins through Stake, not necessarily tip other people. Don't you think setting the minimum amount way too low would increase the probability of spamming attacks even if you limit the request through the APIs? I don't see a problem even if you set the minimum exchange amount to $1, considering how many exchanges require at least $10 or $5. This sounds okay to me as an alternative way to trade your coins.

Thanks for your suggestions! Spamming loses the spammer money and time, and in case such thing is detected it's possible to force our outgoing tips to be hidden for that user, or prevent them from exchanging and refund the coins few hours later. If they still continue abusing, it's possible to hold the coins and show them an alert and that they should contact support to get a refund, and let them know further tips would not be refunded or exchanged, etc.
These are solutions from our end, it's also possible that Stake chat mods would pick up on this tip spamming and restrict their tipping ability. Since Stake's aware of the bot it shouldn't cause issues for the bot account.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: PoorBot Review! on: January 03, 2024, 05:34:38 PM
My Suggestion for Improvement of the PoorBot

I suggest the developer of the bot to fix a few issues that I have noticed during my tests. First issue to fix is to make bot more responsive to quick transactions, and instead of giving error message the bot should give a message like "please wait a few seconds".

Another thing that I suggest to the developer of the bot is to reduce the minimum accepted amount to Stake’s minimum accepted amount for the tip as many users may face some problems if they send tips that are below $0.50 in value.

My final suggestion to improve the bot is to add more crypto-currencies in the list of accepted crypto-currencies. With more crypto-currencies in the list users have choice to convert to other desired crypto-currencies if they want.

Thanks for your detailed review!

Bot checks for incoming tips every 30 seconds (in order not to spam Stake's API), but I agree the error message should be better, will fix that!
Minimum amount is different for each coin so even if you can send, say $0.20, bot might not be able to send the converted amount back in another currency, that's why I set it at $0.50 to make sure, but I'll work on that as well, and add more currencies!
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: January 01, 2024, 06:31:22 PM
The idea seems nice and as a Stake user myself, It could be useful to me as well. However, what if Stake out of the blue close your account(could be any reason like KYC, collusion, inactive with regards to betting on stake)? what happens then? is there a failsafe just in case?

Thanks for your interest, as stated previously, they are aware of the bot and what it does. In the absolute worst case though, since bot doesn't keep user funds for a long time, users wouldn't be affected (even if they did, they would be compensated by me), and bot would probably be shut down.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 31, 2023, 09:24:14 PM
Now we know that it does not violate any rules although there is no accurate guarantee of its future, but is the process of @poorbot's tip that users have to go through KYC? How about users who don't go through the KYC process will it be okay?
So far I in the stake account have never done any KYC until now, suppose if you want to use this fitu must KYC first?

Because this is indeed a very low fee rate than other bots that apply larger that I know, of course your fee rate offer will be more admired because it is too low.

Hi, tipping feature on Stake currently is not subject to any KYC procedures as far as I know. Deposits and withdrawals could be though, when deemed necessary by Stake.

Regarding review campaign, we're currently awaiting for a few members to complete their reviews. I'm guessing they will post it here when done!

Can you explain a bit as to why this new gambling platform poorbit.io would be new one for only the stake users and not the other sites' gamblers  Huh
Don't know what you wanted to say here ?
poorbot*.io is not a gambling platform, you got it all wrong. Better read the post again.
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 29, 2023, 07:57:35 PM
You made Poortbot on your own without affiliation or Stake approval, so is there any chance that Stakes notice tips transactions like this increasing and ban them?
I dont see anything wrong with what you are doing, but they can think this are cases of abuse and multiple accounts.

Please see above messages, this question has been asked & answered multiple times:
Hi, thanks for your concerns, but it doesn't break the rules. This works by tipping feature, in order for an user to have a usable balance on Stake, they must complete their KYC process anyways, and exchanges are sent back to the same user, so there's no concern about that.
Regarding the Fair Use part, I've already been in contact with relevant people from Stake and they are aware of the bot already. Of course they cannot vouch for it, or "approve" it officially, for obvious reasons. As long as the bot works as expected, they have said there should be no issues. The relevant processes has been completed on the bot account also.

very very attractive fees versus dinabot wich has 4%, congrats on your project and good luck, i will definetly use it soon

Thanks a lot for your interest!
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 09:14:07 PM
$500 is not such a small amount for some people, but maybe you dont see tips that high so often  Wink
So let me see if I understand correctly, you are using your Stake account for accepting tips from other Stake customers, and then you later exchange coins you received for different coins, with small fee.

Yeah, I wanted to still keep it a bit high, but usually exchanged amounts are smaller than that. Above that it makes much more sense to use a "real" exchange Cheesy
Yes, it receives tips, and sends back in another currency. When balances reach or drop to a certain amount, I deposit or withdraw, keep it balanced.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 04:39:23 PM
...
Do I miss that tipping is not an on-chain transaction and it is more like a credit to an account?

Later when a user submits a withdrawal request, the casino will check and approve it, then if the withdrawal request is accepted and proceeded, it's time for an actual on-chain transaction, then we will talk about transaction fee here.
I meant the exchange fee, which is 0.3% right now. Gotta make some bread Cheesy

What did cause you to name the bot like Poorbot, but not Richbot?

Gamblers want to be rich, not poor.
My personal account on Stake has username starting with "poor...", so I kinda used that, and thought it'd catch some attention & be funny!
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 04:27:53 PM
I’m not sure if this question is already asked so just forward me the answer if there’s already existing one.

I’m not a regular Stake player but my concern is how do you deal with account that commit violation of terms such as bonus abuse? Since you are not affiliated with Stake, is there any incident that accounts was linked to the other one just because they use the bot? I’m referring to the potential connection of account with violation to regular gambler that both use the bot at the same time.

Hi, thanks for your interest, bonuses are given based on their KYC processes and own considerations, and there is no limitation to tip other users or withdraw the bonus immediately. So using the bot wouldn't give users any advantage for abusing bonuses.
Bot always sends the tips back to sender, minus fees if exchanged, or the same amount & currency if it wasn't exchanged for 2 hours. And Stake is aware of the bot, so it should be fine.
I personally play on Stake as well with my personal account, and I've made it clear to Stake the bot will not claim any bonuses, has all promotion and rain etc. features turned off.

...
Or, perhaps in the future (Stake) seeing these services have such a big transaction.

Due to that, they created an exchange service on (Stake) with around a fee 2-5% on their casino. After that, the service provider will be closed by their own due stake already having their exchange system without blocking the the account.
..

Thanks for your comment, you've explained it really good. Yep, if they decide to add a swap/exchange feature themselves, well, goodbye Poorbot Cheesy
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 28, 2023, 04:09:46 PM
Ah, I see. Is there no plan to add a verification or something similar to prevent it? I guess the user can simply never post it publicly, but it would be interesting if there was an additional check before somebody made the transaction even in private. I guess that's doable with account registration or something similar, although it would reduce the user experience. I can see people abusing this to discourage using your service, at least publicly since they'd need to do multiple transactions to convert it to the right coins if they fall to such an attack.
Hi, that would be some extra work for users, but it might be possible to add that option, along with no registration exchange. However as I explained this is a very rare case and shouldn't cause issues. Thanks for your suggestions!

I have another question apart from Stake, any plans to integrate other casinos? There are a couple of big names who have their ANN already in the forum and there are many users from the forums that are active on those platforms who use Bitcoin for gambling.
Thanks for your comments! Unfortunately I'm thinking to stick with Stake for now.

I do not know if this have been suggested by someone else  before, but what I did say is, why have the option of either to post the tip publicly when it is strongly advised against?

I mean, if the op doesn't want users to post their exchange request publicly, as it could be hijacked by some random person for whatever reason, why include that option on the exchange form?, they could have just removed it and this will make sure that every exchange request coming from the poorbot will be posted privately which no chance of anyone mistakenly, or out of curiosity, posting or making the request public.
I think this is just getting overcomplicated just because that info message was put there.
Someone who sees your tip to Poorbot can do that thing we're talking about (even though they'd gain nothing and just be a nuisance). Private tip to Poorbot completely eliminates that "issue".
The option in the form is for Poorbot's tip to you, and that is completely fine. Some people like to make it publicly shown and some not.

With Dinabot for example, you need to create an account, and then verify it's yours by tipping it a random amount. It's extra work. Poorbot requires no registration.

But I have some bad news, this is not legal because it breaks some stake rules. There is a reason why they don't have the exchange/swap feature, and that's because they need a license to operate a service like that, but since that's not their business they will not implement it.
...
I mean, i really like this service, and i think you should talk with Stake and wait for their approval before they decide to close down the operation. so, good luck with the service.

Looks like I misunderstood your service. I am aware of internal exchangers which is why I will definitely be using your bot in the future thanks to the low fee advantage and because I play in Stake now and then.

Can your bot cover other sites too such as Nitrobetting, Sportsbet.io etc? An all-in-one bot like that would be spectacular.

Thanks for your interest! Unfortunately I'm currently not thinking about adding other sites :/

I dont use Stake so much these days and it would be cool to enable this for other casinos.
This tool looks useful, but what happens if bitcoin was sent to exchange when fees are high like it is now?
Are you using other third party external exchanges or something else?

Thanks for your comment, unfortunately at the moment I'm thinking about continuing with Stake only

Since you will send the bot a tip from Stake, there are no fees on that, and for actual exchange bot uses its own liquidity.
Given that it's used mostly for small amounts, handling that is not much of an issue
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 27, 2023, 03:17:08 PM
I have used Dinabot a lot of times in the past. The exchange fee rate is pretty high at Dinabot (3%-5%), otherwise it was pretty good and smooth. But your one is better as you are providing the service with 0.3% exchange fee only. You are providing a 3rd party service, but this type of service doesn't work automatically without API access from the site. Have you taken the API access from Eddie? Or will your exchange service work manually?

Not from Eddie himself, but yes, of course we've arranged it and bot is using API. Otherwise it'd be pretty hard to manage Cheesy
Thanks for your comments!
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 27, 2023, 02:11:59 PM
I don't really see the point of these bots frankly speaking. I just convert my BTC to crypto like LTC, Doge, XRP etc for free in popular exchanges like Binance etc and send them to sites like Stake etc.

I know that you charge a small fee for your bot op which is a good thing, but even that can be avoided completely through what I mentioned. Can you specify some additional use-cases?

For sure, you can see the above message, in addition to that:
This is not really useful for deposits as you've explained, and I think you got it a bit wrong. This bot doesn't do external transfers, it works with tipping feature on Stake.
Still though, if you want to play in another currency for whatever reason, our fees are better (and faster) than popular non-registration/instant exchanges!

It's useful for balances already in your account. On Stake, Bitcoin withdrawals have $4.11 fee at the moment (and they take way longer), while Litecoin only has $0.02.
It can also be useful when the withdraw destination does not support the currency you have. Or, when you have multiple currencies (from challenges, promotions, rakeback, rains etc.) and you want to combine them, either to play or withdraw.
For gambling part, some games have different minimum bet amounts as well. Going even further, some players believe you have "different luck" with other currencies on some games!

While $10-20 fee is relatively reasonable for a $5,000 balance, when you have smaller balances, say under $100, or need a quick transfer, using the bot can be better.
With higher amounts, using an exchange is for sure a better option.

Thanks for your interest!

I believe this is the other way around, though I am not too familiar as this is my first time seeing this kind of service, but based on my understanding, this works within stake platform only, not from outside to stake. I think this works like tipping an account.

I hope @poorbot could shed light a bit on our concern here.

Just saw your reply, yes, exactly!

I thought this kind of internal exchange/swap service was a more known thing. I've edited the main post to include a brief summary on what it does. Thanks again!
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 27, 2023, 01:27:21 PM
First of all, I would like to Welcome @poorbot and the team behind it. As you would be managing this campaign I think poorbot.io would be able to get a good amount of forum users. I still do not understand the practical usage of this platform, if anyone can explain me then I would be thankful. The next thing I would like to inform the OP is to add some images to the ANN page and make the platform look good. I did visit the platform and it looked dull and reminded me website in the early ages of the Internet. A little bit of animation or graphic images can do wonders for the platform if they as the owners work on it.

Hi, it's used in the well known gambling platform, Stake. Say you have a bit of bitcoin balance, $30. Since Bitcoin fees are high, and minimum deposit on exchanges etc might be higher, you can send $30 BTC to this bot, and get ~$29.9 LTC to make cheaper and more convenient transfers.

It's recently launched, so thread is a bit plain I agree, it will be improved!
And yes, website is really basic. As I said above, I like to keep it simple and easy. It has only one job, take a currency, send back another currency. Maybe design could be improved, but generally it's most likely going to stay like that. No need to bother with lots of pages, popups, confirmations for a thing that can be done in a single form!
But for sure it will be cleaned up, and a how-to guide with images / videos will be added.

Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions!
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: December 27, 2023, 12:10:55 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk platform. I really commend you for this innovation and development. I was wondering why your licence was not displayed on your website for all to see because that would convince your prospective clients that you are legit and legally registered as that is one of the basic information they look for on websites before they engage.

Since your licence is not there on your website, can you clearly tell us under which jurisdiction you are registered? So we could know as you can see the interest in your services here and I will also applaud your move to embarking on a promotional campaign. This would boost your presence here on bitcointalk platform. Congratulations one the launch of your project.

Hello, there's no registration, and it would probably not be possible. This service works via Stake's tipping feature, it receives a "tip" from user, and promises to send back that amount (minus fees), in the currency of user's choice via tips again. It's nothing official.
And the limits are low, since this is mostly useful for exchanging "dust" amounts. If you have $5,000 to exchange obviously this is not the best choice!
Regarding legitness, it takes a long time to build trust and only one bad transaction to lose it. And again since this service is meant for small amounts, it wouldn't make sense to be malicious!

Thanks for your comments!
