Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Rent your rigs, pay in your currency, and 110% for the first month.

Let me clarify:
At the moment we pay 110% of what mining pays, which is $5.17
There is a minimum guarantee of $4, since everyone that has over 10gh has probably been mining at sub $4 for most of the year it will make sense that we never pay below that.
I appreciate your comment as im glad that other people wont be mistaken.
Also we cant use ASIC so we may be able to help you after that too.
thanks

Hi Miners,
I need to rent power , if you have 10 or more gh and you want $4 a gh per day please pm me. If mining profits go above $4 a gh a day then we pay 105% of what you get mining. Will consider offers of 5gh or more.
Take care

Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin Conference 2012- London

Hats off the genjix and team for organising the conference, It makes complete sense to do it in your hometown, and Im sure a weekend in London in December will work fine.
London can be done on the cheap, there are loads of backpackers and cheap places to eat and drink. Its also very cheap to pop down to Costa Del Sol if you need to thaw out afterwards.
The coming months are going to be very busy for the guys, there is never any chance of pleasing everyone so lets just move on and support them in organising the conference.

Wow this is a big deal for bitcoin, I don't check the newbie thread. I'd be happy to go to a village and oversee some bitcoin micro rollouts. Will contact mrchily and we can start updating in bitcoin discussion so its more visible.

Kiva.org http://build.kiva.org/Here is a perfect platform for the community to showcase how bitcoin can benefit developing countries. This site has thousands of potential merchants, many probably don't have bank accounts. Lots of small transactions going on here, very easy to incentivise merchants to take bitcoin. Im going to contact them and see if there is anything we can do together. Will report communication back here, please let know if this has been done before or if you have any ideas.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Putting my hand up to be the unofficial bitcoin marketeer

Meh, if it's unofficial just do it.
Id only be interested if there was a significant amount of people willing to support and donate some hours to develop some systems/software/sites etc. Some level of coordination, cooperation and direction will be required. If you have good idea's, Ill gladly contribute to the realization of them on a per case basis. If your idea's suck imo, your on your own. So I dont see the point of pledging anything at this point. Wanting 100 people to 'vote' for you seems little more than ego tripping, no offense. Well it just makes the job a lot easier, im not going to volunteer to do the marketing without support. A case by case situation is probably not a bad idea though, will take it on board

We may need to sell loaded plastic cards to the villagers that dont have smart phones.
wait.. what?? Are those bitbills.. or has the bitcoin marketing department invented some new bitcoin technology already? (I shouldn't be surprised I guess.. that's what marketing does... right..??) Im not sure what its called but I know its out there. Thanks for the awesome contribution.

Im heading over to the philippines in a couple of weeks, it would be cool to sponsor a small village to use bitcoin. average wage is maybe a dollar an hour it wouldnt cost much to provide incentive.
I imagine we would offer a subsidy to small shop to accept cards and then offer some kind of discount to people using it. We may need to sell loaded plastic cards to the villagers that dont have smart phones.
Who would like to support this idea?
Ill be there for 2 months so there is plenty of time to organise.
