The idea of burning the remaining coin is fantastic.This way less coins will be in circulation which will add more value to it.I will second this idea of burning the coins.
Burning the coins has my vote also, if people miss out on the giveaway they will just need to buy some. Where's the incentive though? Everyone (including the dev) is in a desperate rush to get it on an exchange, yet there's seemingly nothing planned for the coin's future. Any plans for this at all? As it stands I can't see many people wanting to buy it. Which is going to make it hard for everyone looking to dump to do so, whether it's listed on an exchange or not. |

Hi Dev keep update the status of giveaway promotion so in this way other people can know about this there is any spot available or not and how many are filled for block 3.
Well, seems like the interest in this giveaway is very weak, block 3 "sold" only 45 spots, so 55 are still available. If we can't give 60k to 100 people, I don't think we can give less to less people, keeping giving graffiti in this way. So Block 4 and 5 will never ends, just like Block 3. I'm thinking to give around 80k Graffiti to who is in block 3. And then Make a fast giveaway on twitter to promote coin and help it to hit an exchange, if Graffiti will hit an exchange all the coins unsold will be burned, what you think about it? Sounds like a good plan (especially burning the coins not given out once it hits an exchange). Maybe you should keep a few to provide bounties for services and stuff. Maybe a logo contest, no offence but the current one is pretty hard to read. Unless the plan is just to get it on an exchange then dump.  |

i bought some litecoin in order to keep with the tide and earn the pump profit  hmm wise decision. I hope that you make a decent profit off the pump . Just don't be too greedy and sell ltc at the right time. It looks like 0.017 is the peak for litecoin. The halving was already priced in the last litecoin huge pump. The fact that a block halving is the most exciting thing to happen to LTC in the last 12 months is pretty telling. |

There are too many altcoins that are just ponzy schemes, p&d, and scam.
With this project i want us crypto enthusiasts to create a coin that is valuable and usable just like bitcoin.
Main incentive for this coin is that we will go in to a local community, local retailers and offer them our coin as a viable alternative to commercial services like yespay, transax, or vpay who are ripping off both merchants and customers, haven't you had enough of you local off licence charging you up to a pound extra just to accept your card?
There are just too many altcoins and you haven't provided a very compelling reason for creating a new one. Why not just use Bitcoin? |

Timely thread OP, it's been a bit bewildering to see some coins with far less interesting features getting more attention, but I guess hype beats substance sometimes. It won't in the long term though. I'm just glad I've been able to get involved and pick up some SDC at these prices because the dev seems extremely competent and there's a passionate community gathering around it.
To be honest I don't care if people keep buying into whatever the dolts are pushing on Twitter. Most of those coins will fade in a month or two, while Shadowcoin by that point is likely to be one of the most interesting projects around.

Here guys, this was Richie's response to us overnight after we submitted a follow up request on coin destruction: http://prntscr.com/4fo5tzWhen they were talking on IRC, it was before we sent this follow up. We are not sure why they did not reply to our previous request tickets, perhaps it was overlooked, not sure. No matter, they responded with the address to send the coins to and we have done so. Just waiting for their confirmation. You can give the transaction ID of that then? Yes, that would clear this all up one way or another. |

Why would I want to do that? it's a new choice of payment like credit card or paypal No offence intended, but I think that's exactly what this would be used for. There are already ebay-like markets for Bitcoin. A decentralized anonymous marketplace is like the holy grail for online black markets. There is a multi-million dollar industry ready and waiting for this to be successfully implemented. |

Yeah read a few posts back. OtherS had to do as I described. Delete and reinstall with full down load of blockcain. Why? Because chain they where on forked and they needed to get back to official one. I wasn't the one begging for people to keep their wallets open and have to make a new dedicated node. People here in this thread did/do. It drains hard on certain phones for sure. Needs optimizing.it looks nice and has good features but those can keep Android busy and that drains power. Call troll all you want. Fact remains issues need to be sorted.
I said earlier that I had to delete and re-download the blockchain, but I wasn't using the Android wallet. Apologies if that makes your fear-mongering more difficult. |

The network needs nodes to survive please turn on your mobile and desktop wallets please!
Shadowcoin is not yet advanced enough or healthy enough that you can just assume its secure by leaving off your nodes
so please as a community can we all run a node..thanks.

That is a blatant lie. Everyone here knows the lxc guys released an pos coin staking Android wallet on Monday 2 days ago. I am invested in SDC and love the wallet but flat out lying is bullshit. It's gonna bring trolls in spades not to mention sdc is very capable of standing on it's own without false bullshit. I have to agree. I hope the SDC developer will straighten this out...quick. LXC released a "beta" not a full release. If the lxcdevs brand something as a beta it implies that it isn't production ready, hence the term beta. SDCgo beta has been out for over a few weeks. ShadowGO is a full release. +100500 This is true...LXC was a stripped down beta release. SDC was at that point 3 weeks ago. SDC DELIVERED A FINISHED PRODUCT. This was no stripped down beta, it included encrypted messaging, anon messaging, stealth addresses. Shadowcoin has enough going for it without members of the community having to resort to dishonesty. The article states it's the "First Android Wallet With Working Mobile Staking". We all know that this isn't true and that LibrexCoin bet SDC to the punch with their mobile wallet. SDC's has features that the other doesn't, so both devs should be proud that they've helped bring some innovation to crypto. It's something most new coins are sorely lacking. SDC doesn't release alphas/betas, they release production ready products. Big difference.
