5  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Where can i report a crypto crime? on: February 03, 2018, 03:58:02 AM
I know there have been a few mentions on the FBI, but I wanted to throw some resources out there for those that may need more info.

For those in the U.S. (or potentially if your transaction / dealings were international and involved the U.S. or a U.S. citizen), here are some useful links from the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) website at fbi.gov..

I do not believe I took an L in 2017, but considering the recent downturn, but I'm definitely in the red right now. Then again, I'm only estimating -- which is due to my poor record keeping...

Lesson learned: I should have done a better/more comprehensive/more dedicated job from the get-go in tracking all of my transactions from one master spreadsheet. Now it's going to be an effin' nightmare going to all of the exchanges, exporting my trade histories, logging them, and calculating everything. Kicking myself now, but hey, we live and we learn as the saying goes. (Needless to say, I've already started said spreadsheet.)

Whatever you end up doing, send free samples to famous people (A thru D-listers), influencers, athletes, musicians, etc. Hopefully they wear it on TV, at a show, on Instagram, and it helps your brand pop off as a result because it's now seen as "cool" by consumer-minded sheeple. Get guerrilla with your marketing...perception is everything!

Agreed. Well done on the McAfee article...good luck!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question on: February 02, 2018, 08:08:16 AM
According to this post on Medium, a fella named Andrew Gordon is an accountant specializing in crypto.

(Please note that I have no experience with this guy and cannot endorse him, it's just something I came across...c)

Also, any discussion internally about developing a WordPress plugin?

It would seem like such a natural fit IMHO, in theory should be the path of least resistance when it comes to scaling userbase, website integration, and hence adoption. I was a bit surprised not to see that mentioned in the whitepaper (though I could have missed it, in all honesty) considering WP claims 60% market share of CMS-powered websites.

So in the Token Sale Agreement, section 4.1 stipulates:

Quote
4.1. Payments with cryptocurrencies ETHEREUM and BITCOIN are available for any territory and any
Recipient category, except the United States, Singapore, Vietnam and some other countries
residents.

...so users in those countries cannot participate, or..? Thanks for clarifying.

I have a few noob questions, apologies in advance if they're seen as dumb, noobish, and/or lazy...

  • Is there any way to participate without the synced wallet on a PC? i.e., is there an official android wallet?
  • Anyone know approximately how much data would be used in setting up the wallet on a PC?
  • Do you know how long it takes for the wallet to sync?
  • To participate in Air Drop, does my wallet have to be left on 24/7?

Thanks in advance, any help / insights are greatly appreciated!
14  Economy / Services / Re: Need help - Putting API data into a spreadsheet. on: January 01, 2018, 12:54:33 AM
You can use Google Sheets with an Add-On like "Magic JSON".

For example, I quickly created this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15TjWWvj46HNQ101KORtsnWR3xLjZCNyMX2kK1AsIAN0/edit?usp=sharing

Now, I'm not sure if it will update automatically or not (guessing it won't), but you can just re-import using the Magic JSON Add-On when you need/want it updated.

Hope that helps!

Auction only launched 4 days ago, have not even started email outreach, among other marketing efforts to spread the word. Sign up and watch, you'll see :-)

"Bad gTLD" is not a fair characterization. Google treats .IO as a generic top-level domain, because of the actual use/adoption by the tech industry (I/O = input/output...or for this bitcoin use case, io could = "I owe").

See the range of bitcoin products and services operating on .io for years... https://www.google.com/search?q=inurl%3Aio+bitcoin

Cloud.io recently sold for $42k (at Flippa, twice, actually). See a range of other 5-figure sales reported on .io here: http://namebio.com/?s=QN5YTO5IzM)

And yes, I am the seller. PM me with any questions, happy to discuss payment options, etc. - thanks.
