I have found their onine helpdesk and am writing to them now.

Am I correct is saying that this is a race against time? If the transaction is in limbo, does it disappear after three days (today, gulp..)?



(They first contact me six months ago to withdraw my finds due to UK banking regs changing, and again recently. They seem bona fide to me.)

TXID = transaction ID

That address definitely hasn't received any transactions as you can see here:

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/addresses/btc/bc1q3npdpvagw89w7ajq9qlva5k5sn6lamrewaqk4vxtstt9mvtkjfaqkjsmyv

So there is nothing wrong with your Electrum. Localbitcoins never sent the funds to start with.

Oh. Thanks for checking.

localbitcoins is closing down and as asked me to withdraw all my funds. I did that on Saturday.

Here is a transcript of my transaction details on localbitcoins.

Hi

I created a request on Electrum wallet and created an address.

I used the address to send bitcoin to it from localbitcoins.

Localbitcoins shows the transaction as "pending" and having left that account.

Electrum showing nothing . Just says "unpaid"

The address is correct.



Suspected cause:

I did not put the "requested amount" into Electrum when creating the address.

Is this my error? Can I do aything about it please?

This was two days ago - my research suggests  I am in a race against time?

Any help much appreaciated.
