1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's Hidden Benefits. on: Today at 09:46:26 PM
I’ve been thinking about how cryptocurrency exchanges often give extra benefits when you put in a lot of money. This is different from traditional banks, where you usually don't get much in return. Crypto platforms offer rewards for things like depositing and holding onto your coins.

It makes me wonder why some people are still hesitant to try cryptocurrencies. The fact that there are so many incentives available, like rewards for depositing and other perks, shows that crypto can be a good option. It makes me think about why some people are skeptical and how the world of finance and technology is changing.what are your thoughts on this please do share?

The pattern is just a misguided promotion to attract new users to enter and if you use referrals you then go to your friends to reach a percentage which is also not much unless your friend has enough money to trade on the same exchange as you. Of course, affiliate fees also go into your wallet.

Why isn't it ready yet?? Many people are still economically weak and not ready for market fluctuations because many hope that after they trade will increase the estimated amount of their money will increase when they join.

I agree with you but to an extent. Most investors are secretive, people do not want to show others how they get to make the profits and gain they make. Thus, platforms create incentives to encourage users to introduce others to enjoy the benefits they're getting. That's how I view these things. For example, I found that Bitget made available up to 1,200 BGB as a welcome gift exclusively for the South Asia region. I simply feel it's to encourage participation from that region and not necessarily to lure users in the sense of it.

1 BGB is around $1.077 ATM, for a platform to be giving that as welcome gift, they just value and appreciate their users from that region. Would be nice being from Asia😀. That's one of the spirits of cryptocurrency. Flexibility and breaking the norm.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been profiting from memecoins? on: Today at 05:38:55 AM
Since the emergence of Memecoins besides Doge, I was getting some profit decently before lots and lots of the same coins popped up almost every day. now that memecoins are the trend, it's not possible anymore with the new memecoins rather I just stuck with the old ones and remained with my best strategies when to buy at the right time. You just need to be vigilant regarding the timing because if you happen to invest at the wrong time, then you won't get any profit rather you will wait for a longer period for the price to increase than if you happened to invest in the right one.

True yatzer. Meme these days have a short life span. Probably due to porous community or shallow foundations. But they've been some memes I discovered on Bitget memezone that's been doing well for months..MUMU is one, pepe is another, I think this FUD OP is talking about has that same characters. I'll suggest taking your time to do research on sustainable meme with strong community. The platform I mentioned is a good start imo.

Ive purchased a solana mobile 2 preorder and honestly the experience is great on airdrops of meme coin since I already break even with the phone worth $450 and airdrops that has surpass the worth of the phone.. Yes the phone associated with an sbt and this one is the one getting airdrop with your registered wallet during purchase. Not really into memecoin but the drops of meme it give the users is really worth it. Now memecoins that Ive sold are contributing to my breakeven status. Looking forward for more memecoins drop.

Wow seems I'll consider this. You really need money to make money in this space.. for the FUD meme OP is talking about, I'm thinking of bidding here.... Price seem to have retraced and it's about to continue its uptrend.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming A Confident Trader In The Crypto Space on: May 14, 2024, 05:16:21 AM
Good luck with your competition goals. I've never been a good futures trader myself and always envy the large profit they display on exchanges. When I copy a successful strategy, the ultimate demise of it gets started. That makes me wary of copying them. The problem with my futures trading is I make money on most of them but the profit are small and the few times I lose, the loss are huge. That's why I have limited myself to spot trading, even though I'm in loss compared to USD, I'd have more coins.

Your risk management techniques needs to be worked on, if you get that right, then your risk reward ratio would be different. I can recommend some books to read and some Yt videos to watch. OP seems excited about the competition so I wish her well cos I heard KCGI is a fierce trading tournament but also exciting. She should update on her progress lol
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How io.net is Democratizing AI with GPU Network on: May 12, 2024, 06:24:30 AM
i'm in it. i got 5k points from it with an rtx 4090 and an rtx 4060;
we'll see in a few days how much that's worth in $ and if it was worth it. if not, i'll stop the damn thing.
i don't like the fact that i can't run any mining software otherwise my worker gets blocked.

I think it'll worth it from chatters and stuff. Trading aorund $4.4 on Bitget's pre market, probably at listing, it'll be higher..

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Notcoin mining on: May 10, 2024, 10:55:53 AM
Way too low profit for the effort needed to make 10m. I assume this is botted to hell and back since there is absolutely no protection against multiple android emulators + autoclickers.

This is also the simplicity of “mining” NOT for farmers with 10+ telegram accounts. Minimal electricity costs and accounts, clickers and emulators are free. And therefore, the profit even from 10M NOT is quite worthy. And I’m not talking about the lucky ones, who were able to earn much more on the first day of the appearance of vouchers and their listing. In some specialized TG/DS channels, “low banks” are happy with a drop of $10-20. I myself was able to clicked 30+M, but I could have done more if I hadn’t bought skins and give more time.

That's it, NOT was accessible to everyone & easy to mine. I guess that's why since 28th April, pre market trading volume for NOT on getgerms hit over $3.6m. I also just discovered on Bitget's pre market, which means more volume for NOT. https://www.bitgetapp.com/pre-market/NOTUSDT
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX or DEX: Which One Rewards You More? on: May 09, 2024, 06:59:05 PM
Hey mates, good day to y'all

CEX and DEX are two different beasts when it comes to rewarding users. But which one actually offers more goodies??

CEX:

- Trading fees, discounts, and loyalty programs
- Faster transactions and higher liquidity

DEX:

- Token incentives, governance participation, and community love
- Decentralization, security, and community control

Did I miss anything? You can add more. But Do you prefer the traditional approach of CEX or the community-driven vibes of DEX? Let's talk.
Comparing CEX and DEX is like comparing apples and oranges - both have their unique perks. Personally I prefer CEX over DEX for its ease of use and rewarding features. CEX offers trading fees, discounts, and loyalty programs that helped me maximize my gains; accompanied with some decent deals for new users to kickstart their trading journey. Similar to the Bitget 15 USDT download bonus I read about on X. While DEX has its advantages, With CEX, I feel more in control of my trades and appreciate the faster transactions and higher liquidity

This buttresses some users here point about cex giving more rewards, I'm certain you can't get rewarded for downloading a phantom or a keplr wallet but you just mentioned you could for the cex you stated.. I feel both can coexist and we can make the best from both in maximizing profits and getting user satisfaction..
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX or DEX: Which One Rewards You More? on: May 09, 2024, 06:55:10 PM
Despite having higher fees and even if there are no discounts and loyalty programs, DExes will probably be more supported by users if only transactions are faster and liquidity higher. It's probably enough for them to be guaranteed of safety of their funds and given absolute control over them for users to forget about CExes. Unfortunately, however, inconvenience is a priority to users and CExes are the ones that offer it.

As for me, as much as I'm in support of DExes, the low liquidity which results to lower offers is indeed discouraging.

True, price also differs and cex is more comfortable to use. Some folks here are talking about privacy regarding KYC. Isn't there a law that guides that?
9  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Which p2p cryptocurrency exchange is best for business on: May 08, 2024, 04:34:32 PM
I don't know about the latest update on Paxful, but it was popular in the past, but they stopped working and things changed completely over the past months. This is the first time I've heard about Shiftal but there are better, open source alternatives.
It's been a while since I heard about Paxful; I thought they were extinct. Anyway, I'm not familiar with the other platform either, probably because I haven't been searching – Bitget P2P gives me what I need seamlessly. Their merchants' release time is exceptional.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taking advantage of this red market? on: May 04, 2024, 06:14:12 AM
Nope, I don't have any stable coins anymore.

I wish I have money right now, so I will try to gamble in few shitcoins since the price is keep declining.

I need to thank Bitcoin halving because Bitcoin halving make my shitcoins portfolio went halve to. Tongue

Since I'm not a fan to cut loss, I choose to hold my shitcoins until the price spikes which I don't know when it will happen, I will be fine since I'm currently not in needed.

BTC is up 63k rn, it's now on nevr on your shit coins hunt. Ahaha. Consider Katt though, I'm farming on Bitget's PoolX to earn it hourly. I'm also considering adding to my other meme bags. Let's hope btc doesn't tank to 53k before month end 😂😂. What's your honest assesment of BTC and probably memecoins market in the next 60 days?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a better way to handle cross-chain transactions? on: May 04, 2024, 06:07:02 AM
You know those days when you want to move assets between chains…and it's a whole ordeal? Fees eat your profits, you're juggling multiple wallets, and the whole process is just a pain. I've been there, and it sucks the fun right out of trading.
It's not as painful as you said that above. You were not even specific whether it was compatible or non compatible blockchain. Transferring between one to the another chain in the compatible blockchain doesn't require a lot of money.

The other day, after finally getting a transaction through (and paying waaaay too much in gas), I came across ZEROLEND in my research. Turns out, it aims to solve a whole bunch of the issues I keep running into with cross-chain activity and lending. Now, I wish I'd found it sooner, but hey, maybe someone else is out there facing the same frustrations.
I'd prefer to use stargate finance rather than zero lend. It has been helping ne to transfering my balance across to the another blockchain.

It looks like they're focused on cross-chain compatibility, real-world assets (think less reliance on pure crypto), and even ways to reduce those crazy gas fees. Oh, and privacy features - always a plus in this space, right? I'm about to do a deep dive, but I wanted to see if anyone had other projects in mind that do the same stuff. Let's share some.
It was a lending platform but stargate has been supporting various blockchains compared to the zerolend. Many people have been also simultaneously using startage finance too. Zero lend was a new platform.
It's only supporting fewer blockchains compared to the stargate.

New platform with potential due to it's privacy layer feature via zkstack tech imo. Might get to Stargate level or might not, but I'll be supporting it. Saw it on Bitget's pre market trading around few cents. Will bet on it..
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Renzo Airdrop on: April 30, 2024, 10:29:57 AM
Another restaking protocol has been release their announcement of airdrop. Its called renzo protocol, after the Binance announced their launchpool on renzo, the team followed it by their airdrop post which gives season participants a 7% pool with minimum eligibility of 360points to be able to received.

I am participants of this one and accumulated some points. Id hope my supplied eth for ezeth is worth it.

Check the announcement.

https://twitter.com/RenzoProtocol/status/1783277589525594231?t=t4SZP6T1WKXDaS1jeGvDXQ&s=19

Seems the airdrop has started & listing is today. Got some on Bitget's pre market & I'll be hoping to sell after listing. I hope it does well cos restaking protocol is a popular sector & renzo has been endorsed by industry leaders..
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MemeCoins Fuel the Next Crypto Craze? on: April 28, 2024, 06:35:00 AM
Truly memecoins provides the hype and speculations that attracts investors to the crypto market, as stated in the OP, many people don't have that patience to wait on long term projects like Bitcoin and Ethereum, so they're ready to gamble their funds to make profits on the short term. I believe that this is the major reason why memecoins are fueling the crypto craze, as the subject of this thread captions it, and thanks to the Solana, network that is energized and accepting them as many as they come. But investors should understand that all that glitters is not gold, therefore they should carry out research first and invest the amount that they can afford to loose

You've spoken well, because of the hype that comes with memecoins, users especially newbies tend to shift to that direction. While I believe that memes are important in the crypto space, it's also crucial to position yourself wisely and know the risks before getting involved. Bitget memezone has been my go-to in terms of memes. I've gotten bome, Slerf, wif early and now they've introduced MANEKI with candybomb initiative attached..(OP mentioned it). The meme seem to be gaining momentum both on X l, Discord, telegram and Reddit. Will definitely ride the wave with this using my strategy. NFA though.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 27, 2024, 05:34:50 AM
As far as it's my fund, I'd after having Invested on the bitcoin, I diversifies to farm on well lucracious, populous and a listed token projects where I don't only rean my faith on hypes but reputations.

I may only assume that investing on this your introduced Bouncebit token would me a gamble but yet I'm not in for it until it's listed in the market cap to trending.

I share  your skepticism so I checked it out a little more. And I see it's  been listed on some Cexs  already   https://www.coincarp.com/fa/events/bouncebit-new-listing-on-bitget-pre-market/. All in all,  I would say investing in a new token is a gamble. So its wise risk what you're ready to loose

Haven't really explore bouncebit cos I've been utilizing other options for passive income, didn't even know they are the pionerr native BTC restaking chain(made me looked it up). since there's good sentiment on the project, I'll proceed to checkout the pre market trading you suggested. Hopefully I bid at a decent price.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Socialfi narrative coming back? on: April 24, 2024, 03:59:53 AM
SocialFi projects have been around for a while, dating back to when Stepn originated. Aside from the initial boom, I haven't seen anything extraordinary from them..., but that might be changing..came across Ready to Fight - a funny name, I know! It's an innovative SocialFi project that combines social networks and DeFi, enabling creators to monetize their content.

Two things caught my attention:

1. it's the first social network for the 50 million global boxing community, and the project's strategic partners include the World Boxing Council (WBC), the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation, and Riyadh Season.

2. The project's ambassadors  include prominent world athletes like Mike Tyson, Amir Khan, and Ebani Bridges.

With this much backing, I think the SocialFi narrative might be changing. What do you think?

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run Approaching: Projects to Watch Besides ETH on: April 23, 2024, 06:20:14 AM
The crypto market is heating up, especially after the halving, and it's time to explore the next big things! We've got familiar names like Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana making waves, but let's talk about smaller gems like ATOR.

ATOR is a project focused on keeping your online activity private and secure. They're building a new way for people to connect to the internet using special hardware and a token system that rewards users for helping keep the network strong. What I love about ATOR is that it's not just about tech - it's about giving people control over their online lives. With their recent partnership with Streamr, they're making big moves to make privacy and decentralization accessible to everyone.

Here's my question: What do you think is most important for a project like this to succeed long-term - keeping your data private, being able to connect securely, or something else? Which other projects are on your watchlist?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/airtor-protocol/
I think for a project to survive for long term it should have a very good and innovative team so that whenever a problem arises in the market and ecosystem the project team should react immediately to solve that particular problem.

Let's take a example of the congestion problem that was faced by ETH in the previous months.  Now a good project like SOL noticed it and they launched their layer 2 projects to cater the problem of congestion and they succeeded in that pretty much. So that's what a long term project demands.

That's true. Found this and I think it's looks exciting. Do you think ATOR will scale from this brief highlights?
