1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 01, 2016, 07:35:49 PM

interesting article. i wonder why is this information not shared by the iota developers. so are they integrating it in the azure infrastructure? is this right?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: February 28, 2016, 09:50:16 PM
alpha or beta??

If you are a machine then it's beta, if you are a human then it's barely a pre-alpha because of lack of UI.

i am a cyborg. so its a alpha, maybe pre-beta. i don't need UI when i can add API or have interface for interaction with back-end.

i am Just investor patient, positive man and PNL (Peace and Love)  Kiss

child_harold did no offense on you yassin! we only need a date for the launch.
i will be happy with something like for example "end april 2016"

@child_harold: whats the "fing demo"?

OK

So something is being lost in translation:

WHEN THE FUCK IS THIS THING LAUNCHING?

NB: If anybody even thinks about messing with me now Ill jump down his throat like a fucking…

We can't jump straight to the launch without proper testing. I've just uploaded a new version - https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/contattafiles/iota/5tP2EauxmEdjF6d/IRI-0.5.0.zip - you are welcome to help us to test it.

oh nice. finally we get a software to look. so what would you say is the state? alpha or beta?? and what functionality is in it? is this a windows application or sourcecode?? i am really very new in IOTA. please provide me information.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: February 28, 2016, 09:13:03 PM
so where do I get a wallet/client for IOTA and where do i get the tokens? i have been looking and looking but didn't find anything.

Did you participate in crowdsale?

no i am not aware of a crowdsale. so a crowdfund is currently running? i am interested.
and when can we await the client/wallet and tokens?

No, the crowdsale ended on 22nd of December.

So if you want to buy IOTAs now you either have to wait for the exchanges to add it post-launch *or* find someone who is willing to sell.

ok i want to buy IOTA then. But where do i get the wallet so i can buy from someone?

#edit : when is the launch?

11  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 06, 2015, 10:11:35 AM
Bitcoin. Its better than gold. Gold is already scam-medium. The daily traded-gold volume is  not available for trade. Its all fraud. They sell and buy more gold than available on world-markets... Same like the fiat... Pump-shit.

You can buy some physical-gold. Sure better than fiat. But BTC is better than both. Just my two cents.

I have been struggling with compiling Mac OS X wallet for creditbit for hours now, I solved all issues except this one:

I keep on getting Boost warnings then the build fails, I tried installing dependencies through port and failed then I tried brew and failed, then I tried compiling boost my self (multiple versions 1_55_0 to 1_59_0) and failed.

I can't find any detailed Tutorial like the windows one , BTW kudos to that guy.

any Idea on what would be wrong here ?

dependcies-error is the problem. Your boost version is not the correct one.
use this tutorial: https://github.com/ppcoin/ppcoin/blob/master/doc/build-osx.txt

14  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Sharebit: [30,000$] Reward Offline Peer to Peer Electronic Cash System on: September 02, 2015, 07:45:57 AM
Well I am currently raising funds for this project expecting this release in next 90 days.
The Papers are ready but i am willing to release it only after the Sharebit payment is launched ....

so that they can implement it in every Peer to Peer payment system in next version

1. I read the project. I am sorry to say it can not work like you described (at least broadcasting transactions..).

2. Please put 30k USD on a public-key and sign a message with this key

Well Sharebit has its own coin.... and a paper will be released for existing peer to peer systems ....

So far i am in a plan of releasing it as a Open Source .. But it depends on Investor...

well i dont know about Aricoin stage.... but Sharebit is Ready .... we can launch immediately... but we dont want it to fall like any crypto currency...
thats why i am in search of investors to advertise and go on... well we tested with two Mobile Device to transfer Some coins and it worked perfectly ... we are still upgrading and testing every single feature

4. Can you post a video?

3. So you will release a cryptocurrency with/for this project?
    (let me guess: crowdfund?)

from what i am reading here: This is just another try to hype an unlaunched coin and gain momentum to attract investors*  for the launch..

#my opinion and personal conclusion: This project = copypasted sh*tcoin-clone with no innovations. This "super offline KMT mega crypto-transaction system" will not be released BEFORE the investors* paid. So people will be "buying" something which isn't even provably existent.

16  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: April 26, 2015, 08:34:41 AM
Be the first investing in a ponzi?

Ponzi and any other pyramid schemes you start are good way to make money. Not legal, but good Grin

And don't forget to be one of the first "investors".  Wink Joining a ponzy/pyramid too late can cause you big loss.
But with 2 BTC funds, why not start the own ponzi and use the 2 BTC for the first deposits.  Cool Then you can't lose
it and probably you will your profit back fast.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Automated Transactions on: April 26, 2015, 08:26:44 AM
Now explorer correctly displays arbitrary transactions. For example:  http://qora.co.in/?q=59592  If it contains text, when you hover, you can read it.

Someone posted a lot of data: http://qora.co.in/?q=QQNHshG1ors1sG4bW65vtU1tmcgQQBf7Hr

WOW well done agran and rest of qora-team! Why are there still no news out? We need to spread this fantastic progress news through crypto-press!!
keep this development level and qora is in top 20 coins until summer.  Cool

ps. i still wait for the slack invite
18  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Unwanted transaction sent in Electrum on: April 09, 2015, 02:14:30 PM
No, you won't be safe saving infected files into a external hdd and then reinfecting your self. Format your who computer and let got the files too.

How do I do to recover my wallet.dat in this case Huh ?

first export private keys. Print on paper or make foto with (non-internet) camera. clean all USB memories, external HDDs and all other flash memory or memory you used on this computer. Remember: If you burned CDs/DVDs in recent times: DONT USE ANYMORE!

then totally clean the computer -> format HDD SECURE! (= more than 5 time with rewrite on HD) & install SECURE OS (NO windows). If you use again windows because you have to, make sure its first secured before you install anything. DO NOT USE PRECOMPILED wallets of other coins, etc. Always try compile your things alone (from REVIEWED sourcecodes only) if its from not trusted developer. Most keylogger, wallet-stealer, etc. ARE NOT IN virus-database. In many cases its only small backdoor added to sourcecode of cryptocoins-apps, wallets & Co. TRUST NOBODY!

when the secure & clean computer is ready you simple install BTC wallet (ONLY from TRUSTED source) and import the keys.

sorry for your loss!
19  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: April 09, 2015, 02:00:29 PM
i've switch my miners back to westhash... lately the luck at antpool hasn't been the best and it's has been affecting the payouts...

when you compare through luck you can have a look on https://blockchain.info/en/pools - for me its look like the f2pool (china) is best one now with luck. hope this is a help for you. but switching often is not soo good imho. i stay on the antpool because this company is most loyal btc-company in my opinion. never have let me down...

GOOD LUCK! (this what we need for minting  Wink )
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - [STOX] CryptoStocks - StoxSend - StoxMart - TresorNet - PoW/PoS on: April 09, 2015, 01:52:18 PM
Our tresor-network left alpha-stage. We made a lot of tests the last months and recoded some parts of the framework. Our "master"-node also integrates a DNS-seed which discovers peers automatically and broadcasts them to the network and all other clients. Next milestone is setting up a dedicated communitcation platform for development and experimenting inside the stox-network, we name it StoxLab. The team decided to launch STOX on 27th SEPTEMBER 2015. Our RC-wallet is containing Blockexplorer, Marketoverview, Staking-information and StoxSend (Stealth payment system which is an implementation of a Diffie-Hellman key exchange system.) at launch. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diffie%E2%80%93Hellman_key_exchange) - if you re interested in the technical aspects behind Stealth payments watch this very interesting video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QnD2c4Xovk

We hope you join this new cryptocurrency/opportunity in summer 2015. Any questions are welcome.
the Stox-team
