441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] (ICO) STORM TOKEN 900K+ Users on: August 10, 2017, 08:22:06 AM
As has been announced previously, we are working on strategic partnerships and adding new advisors to our team. As a result, our crowdsale date is TBA.

We will be updating everyone shortly. The bounty campaign is still active and all updated information can be found on the Google Sheets pages.

Thanks for your patience.

We are not starting the crowdsale on August 15th. We are finalizing the last details about the project and will notify everyone shortly.

iif you are not yet prepared or if you are not yet starting the crowdsale in aug 15, then you shouldnt have put that date in the bb code of your signatures.. many people are already expecting you.
Right, the stuff that the Storm token team is doing does not really appear to be professional from the other side of things.

If these guys really had reputable partnerships that can invest a bunch of money into the project then Storm should be trying to get everything completed on that specific date like they stated because those people within the partnerships have other stuff going on they don't have the time to keep changing the dates on when to invest or not invest because a guy in their team didn't want to launch the crowdsale on that specific day.

Changing dates makes the Storm team and everybody involved in the Storm promotion to look bad.

This looks like a nice project. I am looking forward to the exchange at which it will be listed. solo mining works here. But my machine is not really topnotch. Anyway good luck!

The coin looks really plain, it doesn’t look like the price of the coin will hold when people begin to purchase the coin because they just want the payout. If the coin actually receives a huge pump then there would be a bunch of people trying to sell it not purchase it because the coin is relatively new when compared to the new coins that are out there in the CoinMarketCap website.

The coin might not make it to the top 10 spot because there doesn’t seem to be that many people interested in it as well, so how is this coin a nice project?
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: August 04, 2017, 09:43:44 PM
WAVES is way better for long term!! Grin
Why do you think that Waves would be a better alternative to Ethereum? I don’t really know why you would want to invest in that coin rather than Ethereum when comparing the two, it seems like you are trying to get people to purchase the coin because you want to sell the coins that you have right now.

The price of Waves isn’t that spectacular, the price of Waves moves really slow plus there’s a bunch of people that are holding that coin in large amounts so the price of Waves could dump at any moment. I would invest in Ethereum rather than Waves.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Should buy ? on: August 04, 2017, 09:12:04 AM
Altcoin is a very potential market in the future, with my advice you can invest in this market. Be careful and studied about the project you want to invest, there are a few very good ICO projects waiting for you  Smiley
Yes ICO is the best way to buy altcoin but keep in mind ICOs are full with scammer and make sure to search the background of project and not fall with the members in here just choose the project you are really sure become success with their roadmap and team.
Ico's used to be a pretty nice investment to have when it was a year ago, now there's just way too many coins out there that have ICO's and when they get released to the people with Bitcoins it gets dumped by the dev or large investors/miners.

If you invest in an ICO and want to get your money out within a few days after the ICO is completed then you could just forget about since most coins price go up half a year or so after the ICO finishes because there's people dumping within that time frame to get more BTC.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: investFeed [$IFT] ICO Official Thread-Cryptocurrency Incentivized Social Network on: July 31, 2017, 04:07:39 AM
So what about the prices for the premium services on the platform? How much are we going to pay for advanced trading tools? Are there any approximate numbers?
500 ETH from Taas is good news, this Ico is getting momentum, even 12000 ETH at the end would be a good result.

There aren't approximate values at the moment - but yes we hope to blow past 12,000 before the token sale ends!
if can not reach 28000 eth it means the project is failing and the collected funds will be refund to the investor or the minimum funding goal will be decrease ? too many issue due bitcoin fork and impact on ICO there are some ICO have difficulty to reach minimum target funding even though ICO in my opinion have good concept and interesting  Undecided

Hey xialan - there's no need to worry. Our minimum was 1,500 ETH which we've hit, so the token sale is a success. We've hit our minimum funding goal so we will be continuing with development.
wow it's good i think you must update data in website it will make people confused this project already reach funding goal or not yet
under text token sale info please added " minimum funding goal is 1500 ETH " this is just advice from me for make investfeed better
It doesn’t look like the amount of money being used for the campaigns will be worth it because the people will only receive a small amount due to the amount of coins that are already sold through the ICO fund.

There’s only a small percentage being used for the people that promote the coin so I had to recheck the amount to see if it was legit and it was indeed a really low amount compared to the other campaigns that are out there right now. The only good thing is that the campaign is finishing up soon so people may be happy about that.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GGS] Gilgam.es eSports platform on: July 29, 2017, 10:05:46 AM
CryptoDao is not welcomed by large number of traders and not even their a second choice of anyone to use. I also would prefer to wait for some legit exchange or OTC channel is one of the best alternative to start trading before it gets at more exchanges. I am sure someone is going to kick the thread off for trading purposes sooner.
It doesn't look like people can not trade the coin since they already have it in their wallet. Since the coins were already sent out to the people that participated in the campaigns that they had they should be able to send the coins out to whomever that they want to send it to.

I wouldn't be that surprised to see Gilgam.es being listed on Etherdelta since the coin already has the data to get on that exchange and the coins aren't frozen. It doesn't require much to list a coin on there.

I am not so sure how they will stop people from trading the coin.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: July 29, 2017, 09:55:02 AM
OAX token distribution  In accordance with they promised,  i like team like this
Good job
Yeah, they move fast. Once they have something completed they immediately move forward and work on something else that will help their project grow larger.

There's also a bunch of people investing into this project and I am pretty sure that most people that are in this project don't want to lose their money on something that doesn't have any value so they are promoting the coin as well.

It's good to see that the team is going on Youtube plus other media platforms that will increase the amount of people in Openanx because not everyone goes on Bitcointalk to research coins.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: July 29, 2017, 09:05:44 AM
Registration has now closed. There are currently 400 or so contributors who still have not registered. If you are one of those who still haven't registered, please email projectstallman@openanx.org and get in contact with Louis. Documentation for those who have not registered will be required so we advise you to have them ready.

On a brighter note, for those of you who have registered successfully, your tokens will be available for transfer on the July 29! Thank you once again for contributing to openANX!

only the investor need registered right
the bounty hurter don't need do it .
I’ve asked the same question inside of their Slack channel a while ago when they were accepting registrations for the coin distribution, they only need the people that invested in the ICO to register in their website so they can get the coins. The people that did the bounty don’t have to register within their website in order to get the coins transferred to their Ethereum wallet.

You can get faster replies through their Slack because they're pretty active in there.

I noticed that most people that participated in this bounty received their coins already, thanks for the successful campaign!
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [UPDATE] [ANN] [ICO] STORM Token and StorMarket: Freelancing via blockchain on: July 29, 2017, 09:02:23 AM
The Whitepaper will be published shortly and we will notify all when it is ready!

We are in the midst of adding a couple new partnerships and advisors to our project! As a result, our ICO is being pushed back just a bit. We promise, it will be worth the wait!

This immediate tie in with Bittrex sets this apart from the run of the mill ICOs by a mile....Instant credibility to have the founder of Bittrex involved with Storm.

Very well structured project and the job marketplace they are developing is a game changer

I can't wait to see this live on bittrex. No scam at all

Can anyone tell when the ICO starts? And what is the minimum threshold for fund-raising?

Exciting!
Hope it'll reallly worth waiting and push back the ICO.
When will you publish the whitepaper?

Thanks for the update. The project does look pretty well thought out like the user before me stated. I like how you guys are using Bittrex for the ICO so there will be a small portion of reliability that will help ease the tensions from the newer investors that are out there.

You wouldn't want to go and count how many coins out there have an ICO out that don't feature any popular Bitcoin exchange to host their ICO, some of the ICO's now don't like to have an Escrow added to their Crowdfund because of trust issues and that makes no sense.

Do you have a price range for the coin?
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GGS] Gilgam.es eSports platform on: July 29, 2017, 01:23:32 AM
Finally the new announcement thread has already. token has been distributed and I have received it  the rest just waiting for a great exchange for gilgam, but I have not seen Gilgam in coinmarketcap
The coins were added to my wallet as well. I am not sure how Gilgam.es is going to hold the coins until September 20th since the coins could be exchanged right now, what if people try to sell the coins that they have to another person behind the market?

Is there some sort of penalty that the person will get if he or she chooses on selling their tokens?

Also, why does it require so much time for the coin to be released? There wasn’t that much information on the main website or on the Gilgam.es Blog discussing the matter.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: July 29, 2017, 01:18:50 AM
i see on my address OAX already distributed now.
thank you.
hope will be added on bigger exchange.
I’ve received the coins as well.

The Openanx coin is listed in one of the known exchanges that was posted within this thread though I wouldn’t suggest anyone to deposit any coins into it because the price for the Openanx coin is not real, like others have stated the coin is listed as an IOU over there so if you deposit any coins into that exchange you might lose your investment.

I suggest that the people that are holding Openanx just wait a little bit longer till there is a valid exchange set for this coin so they can do whatever it is that they want to do.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what's the future of ETC? on: July 21, 2017, 02:32:55 AM
Ethereum classic maybe left in the dark for the time being as eth is the primary coin powering the blockchain applications at the moment. It looks like etc has a lack of development and support and a lot of people are against it due to the censorship. One can only dream about etc being huge in the future for now.

Yeah its kind of like btc and ltc. It will always remain I think and have a few small projects based on it but overall its always going to be the younger brother to eth.

^^Exactly ETC = LTC
ETH = BTC
ETC is very different from the other Altcoins on Coinmarketcap because the price of Ethereum usually goes up when Ethereum gets a price that beats its all-time high. Since there’s many guys that been around the Altcoin trading thing they have more knowledge on how to trade the coin to make the price look nice for the new investors.

Investing in Ethereum Classic could be a nice choice if you know how to get in on the dump.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you guys ride out the last bitcoin/altcoin "crash"? on: July 20, 2017, 10:03:56 PM
All the buzz about crypto lately has been about how it's going to crash and burn and how it's going to take people like us down with it.  How do you guys deal with the naysayers?

Cryptocurrencies will eventually obsolete other forms of money but still you must correctly pick the winners.

That is a wild statement but quite possible at the same time  Shocked Shocked
Goldcoin is not something that I would like to invest in so that coin would be out of the picture. The coins that will usually be the ones that get accepted by regular store owners would be Bitcoin or the other coins that are in the top 5 of Coinmarketcap. Since those coins been around the longest, they have more reliability when people choose on what they want to invest in.
There isn’t that much too it than that.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Ethereum Co-Founder Says Crypto Coin Market Is a Time-Bomb' on: July 20, 2017, 05:04:49 PM
I really can't stand when those who have profited from the system denounce it. It just reeks of arrogance to me. Now that you've ascended to the mountain top, you want to lord over the space in a rather condescending fashion. While I don't debate the merit of the point in total, the source just makes me itch. What makes ICOs and the lack of regulation so appealing is that it is for everyone. Yes, it does invite scammers and some completely superfluous and useless coins but why can't someone from a nation with an unstable currency find a technology and coin that he or she could believe in, invest in, mine and profit? Accreditation? They can't manipulate the system enough. I just can't stand when there's exclusion. Yes, more scandal in crypto could devalue the mighty Eth and more coins could dilute the distribution of investment as well as slow its mainstream adoption. One man. One agenda. Zero concern for those who actually get hurt by what troubles this free marketplace.
Of course the Co-founder of Ethereum is going to state that his coin is going to be a time bomb and people should invest in it before they miss out on the price getting to a huge green amount. If people hear that Bitcoin was what allowed Ethereum to get its placing then they will invest in Bitcoin instead. Those guys that make Ethereum know that they are really trying their hardest just so they can get Bitcoin to look second.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: QTUM on: July 20, 2017, 04:00:12 AM
pure dirt
The coin is not a scam though there isn’t any purpose for it. If the people that want the digital currency thing to get larger than they should just focus on working with Bitcoin instead of using an Altcoin. There won’t be that many people saying “We accept QTUM” in their stores because they are likely to use Bitcoin instead of a new cryptocurrency that only a few people heard about through various advertisements. Don’t invest in it.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and Ethereum classic on: July 20, 2017, 02:13:12 AM
Go for Ethereum, the real thing.
Dev’s from previous coins and ico’s are using Ethereum Classic to ride on the price of Ethereum so I would invest in Ethereum instead of Ethereum Classic. When the price of Ethereum Classic goes up, the price of Etheruem is already in the green especially when there is a pump.

The price of Ethereum goes up with the price of Bitcoin too, so when the price of Bitcoin goes up then the price of Ethereum rides on the price of Bitcoin for a short while.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LNK] [Ethereum.link] | Linking Desk | Flexible Market Connector | EtherDelta on: July 20, 2017, 01:14:56 AM
Ethereum Link Token is now live at CoinExchange.io  https://www.coinexchange.io/market/LNK/BTC
x
wonderlfull , great my friend for the news
Happy to hear this news, and the more exchangers that receive LNK then the longer I hold LNK. Next exchanger is bittrex and poloniex. Good job sir.
That’s nice, I’m not trying to make fun of this coin though the price of the ico was at 0.0162 BTC. There’s investors that purchased the ico that lost a huge portion of their Bitcoin and Eth due to the reviews on here stating that the coin was a scam.
It’s been many weeks from the completion of the ICO and there hasn’t been any progress on the Silver distribution that the dev was writing about.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GGS] Gilgam.es E-Sport platform for everyone crowdsale on: July 20, 2017, 12:55:29 AM
Wow, I like this project because this is really seriousing us. Ethereum raised was more than 1million and its only few more hours to go. I hope until the end of the ICO there are many still investing on it. Great job Gilgam community.
I’ve been looking forward to this, there’s around 9 hours left for the campaign to get fully completed!
That means that the coin will be ready to gamble with in just a short while. If you want to begin gambling with GGS then you should try to purchase the coin through the ICO as soon as possible because the ICO is closing today.

I am not too sure how much the price of GGS will be when the ICO finishes up.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Neutron (NTRN) - Simple Staking, Medium Supply, Digital piggybank on: July 14, 2017, 05:15:09 PM
There are a lot of whales there what want to buy  in low price so they dump....dont be morons and sell NTRN, hold because they will back to 15 k easily!
Those guys must’ve purchased the coin a long time ago when the price of the coin was much lower than it is right now. I can’t really blame the whales for dumping the coin causing the holders of this coin to panic because pretty much all the other coins are decreasing in value since the price of Bitcoin is on the decline.
This doesn’t seem to be over yet, I would keep holding if you have any coins left.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we do now? on: July 14, 2017, 05:11:34 PM
It is the perfect time for holding.  all market is going to down , just foresee and choose your best coin.

Be careful and Happy Earning
Research while researching the materials gathered from that to invest in something that you want to trade is the wisest option when it comes down to trading. Just because the price of a coin goes up 1,000%+ it doesn’t mean that the coin is going to receive another price increase. Some people go into that trap then lose their money without knowing about what the dump that would eventually happen when they purchase that persons coins.
