so far even better, not only im pissed off cause we dont get any release about boomcoin, and we get asic after year or so, but its possible we dont even get them 7.11 Risk that the Cleverhash based ASIC miners may never be completed or released Yup and that is clearly stated in multiple locations. It is also stated under 1.4 CLEVERHASH MINING HARDWARE 1.4 CLEVERHASH MINING HARDWARE
Cleverhash tokens (hash) can be exchanged for an ASIC miner. The price reduction in the cost of the miner will be reduced by the (hash) token value set forth by Cleverhash at the bitcoin equivalent to fifty cents (USD) per hash token.
Estimated retail prices & Cleverhash token exchange requirements:
Sonic: $3,985 USD or 7,970 Cleverhash Tokens
Aurora: $7,499 or 14,998 Cleverhash Tokens
The development completion is estimated to be during the winter of 2015 q4, although there are no guarantees that this will occur according to such a time-frame or at all. Our business model only works if 4,000 units are pre-sold when Cleverhash website goes live to the public for Cleverhash ASIC miner retail sales. While we anticipate this being achievable, we make no guarantees. Cleverhash Technologies Corporation retains the right to adjust pricing and exchange requirements. Yeah if they are US based that language all doesn't matter, if they don't deliver the product or refund the customers the FTC will shut them down, and they will get sued too the moon. You can't take money and deliver nothing, with no refund thats not how commerce works.

So something very unfortunate happened. I got into Crypto a little before Boom dropped, and mined it to begin with. I only had my Boom QT as an offline wallet, and I guess didn't know much about how they worked. I had 55k Boom in it, and had pushed the price off 500sat, and then again from 1200sat stagnation up too 2ksat.
I transferred my coins to stake, and then had major permissions issues on my machine where it wouldn't start up. I got home from work late, and tried to make it work, when it wouldn't I started it in target disk mode, and copied my boom wallet qt, but didn't go to application support and get the wallet.dat. After copying the few new things since my last backup in July I zeroed the HD as I always do when these errors come up in order to get rid of them. I have my wallet address, and know my encryption code, but as far as I can tell even with this my wallet is totally unrecoverable.
I would appreciate any help, if anyone knows a way to recover my private key, or recreate my wallet.dat. I tried data recovery, and the directory backup let me attempt to grab the wallet.dat but it was corrupted and only13kb when it should be 130kb. I assume I just lose the BTC I put into the coin, since I believe unless the whole block chain rolled back theres no way to reverse the deposit out of bittrex. Any ideas Boomdev or community would be awesome, but I think Im just screwed.
Old address:B2raRAUdoN7VvgmmFHUevXBaQz1KrZpD7w Which I guess can just be a burn address for anyone wanting too with any of there BOOM, unless there is a way to fix this.
New address:An1nBkMKksjMGrkQ32WYZKLKLmTT5BjeY8 Bought another 10k Boom at a way higher price then before, but at least I bumped it from 4.5Ksat too 5.5K
hey you should definitely shoot one of the devs a pm, they are really experienced developers and I'm sure they will be the ones to help you out if possible, if even they can't help you with this then you might have to accept the fact that you lost those boom coins Oh I was there a couple of days ago already , But yeah Ill pm them.

Anyone have a take on LTCgear ?
I have a few shares which have paid out on time every week, however the deal seems too good to be true in many ways which makes me worry that it is of course.
There is very little information which is a concern but then they guy that runs it was selling hardware before completely legitimately and research shows he seemed to be ahead of the game on chip development.
The deal is basically $850 (using the anniversary1yr code and with the BTC discount) for 160MH scrypt mining. You ROI in about 4 weeks, but of course are tempted to reinvest (classic ponzi).
What do you guys think of this ? Too good to be true or ahead of the game ? I think the site is seeing some big volume right now. I am cautiously investing in this... banking some returns and reinvesting some.
Considering that you're a new user and you spammed the same wall of text verbatim in another thread I'm going to guess you are another shill just like I mentioned at the beginning of this thread. How does that sound? No he's right, I have LTCgear shares, I bought the 160MH on sept 20th, and it multiplied the 24th. I have already gotten back in BTC just under half of what I spent on it. I am pulling ROI first to be safe, but the site has worked out real well so far. I also have a good amount on zencloud, and I would change your review on them since the way it works has changed. They have shown the farms. Also GAW is by far the largest, and most reputable cloud mining site out there. LTCGear just seems like a sweet deal with the promo, on a small little one man show with no bells and whistles, otherwise his prices are just a hair below most of the market. You also could check out Zeushash which just went out of beta and into full public mode, and hashnest thru bitmain, although at least right now most miners on hash nest seem to be 50%-90% in fees, so yeah not great. #1 GAW #2 Genesis #3 Zeushash (Just on Zeus miners rep, and price per MH) Interesting option not to go crazy on LTCGear (He has been around for a year, has been paying well, is very responsive, and everyone seems happy with the service. I did do my research before jumping in)

Having control over your hosted hashing power is worth the money. Iv used LTCgear and wasn't happy with it at all. Honestly though don't post on a page if you don't have anything positive to say. Keep your insults to your
self this is a business. Buying shares through us gives you complete control over your MH/s. If anyone lives locally and would like to see the space, we will be allowing clients to view the space on October 15th. Appointments
must be made at least 24 hours in advance. I will post pictures as soon the last bit of construction is done on our room. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me at any time. I check my page several times a day.
Thank you for reading!!!
first time i hear somebody was not happy with LTCGear payments, but maybe its just me. Yeah LTCgear is super simple, but I have already brought in half my purchase cost in the first 2 weeks, and have 210MH that I bought for 840, or exactly 4$/MH. I would like to be able to control my hashing more, but its not worth that kind of premium or a little over 10x per MH sorry.

Relax. Prize is at normal range. When release is coming out, we will see a race... Lucky ones, who hold their coins.
yep! But when? Should be in the next week, I expected an announcement between last mon and next. I don't know if clever hash is launching then or just RM/WP.
|
|
|
Since Cleverhash looks like cloud mining, I hope we get a solid discount for buying with boom, since we have held so loyally.
|
|
|
nobody is pumping - everybody wants boom before the big news...
what news? RM/whitepaper is about to drop.
|
|
|
Seems like the trade bots are back active since volume is up. Coin has almost gotten back into a top 100 market cap.

55k boom here lol
