Piixpay has been unavailable for about two weeks. Does it have anything to do with the shutdown of MisterTango?

Does anyone know of alternatives? I've been trying Bitwala but I'm not really that impressed by them.

Update: I did finally get my payment canceled and my bitcoin returned. I don't think they were trying to steal the money but Mistertango support is not helpful at all. They only answer with one to five days between and doesn't answer questions. They only make the same request for docs over and over again. I will never use Mistertango again.

Warning! Mistertango has not processed my SEPA payment for one week now. I've used this service several times before but this is the first time Mistertango required me to present a proof of source of the deposited Bitcoin. I send screenshots of my Bitcoin purchases but Mistertango support didn't answer during the whole day and the next. I then sent the proof again. Still no answer. I then sent it a third time the next day and got a new requirement to send more proofs which I did after five minutes. Mistertango then stopped answering again. The Mistertango support is extremely slow and very poor. They don't answer questions but only make one sentence requests over and over again. I've sent the the proof they require five times but still nothing.

My funds have been stuck during this whole week. If I at least could cancel the payment I could withdraw the Bitcoin and use PiixPay instead. My recommendation is to use PiixPay for SEPA transfers instead of Mistertango if you don't appreciate having your money stuck and being in contact with an unresponsive support. And I'd also be interested in alternatives to PiixPay and Mistertango for Bitcoin to SEPA if PiixPay also goes offline in the future. Does anyone know about any other services like this? Preferably with better support than Mistertango

This happened to me. The address shown in my Spreadwallet wasn't the one where my SPR where during the snapshot due to change addresses being used by the wallet. Check the Spread explorer to find the correct address.

I haven't reported it. I usually just use my other non-crypto card when Mistertango fails on me 

 I've been having the same problem lately. The card is denied every now and then. Sometimes I try it again immediately at the same store and then it works.

Att verifiera överföringar är en extremt enkel uppgift för de flesta av dagens datorer i Sverige. Även många gånger fler överföringar än den begränsning som sattes på Bitcoin 2010. Många datorer även i de fattigaste länder klarar att hantera fler överföringar men för att använda nätverket behövs ingen speciell datorprestanda. Det är miners, företag och handelsplatser som behöver verifiera alla transaktioner i blockkedjan. De allra flesta användare kör med lätta plånböcker och mobilplånböcker vilka kan verifiera sina egna transaktioner.

De som inte tror på Bitcoins enligt beskrivningen i dess whitepaper borde startat sin egna blockkedja med en hård begränsning (t.ex. 300 kB per 10 minuter) istället för att förändra Bitcoin från kryptovaluta till store of value. Nu blir det istället förvirrat för de flesta när BTC 2009 - 2017 och BCH 2017 och framåt var/är en valuta och BTC 2017 och framåt istället är digitalt guld. De som inte tror på Bitcoin borde istället startat sitt egna projekt.

Under denna perioden såg vi hundratals BTC-användare söka hjälp här på forumet. De betalade flera hundra kronor i avgift för att göra en enkel transaktion men fick den ändå inte bekräftad på flera veckor. Bitcoin var oanvändbar för de flesta och sen dess har vi så klart sett användandet minska och butiker som slutat att acceptera BTC som betalning. Bitcoin är inte död men kommer inte att kunna för mer än ca 400 000 transaktioner per dag. Bitcoin är "död" för alla andra eftersom de inte kan göra transaktioner. Som tur är finns andra blockkedjor redo att ta över efter att Bitcoin strypts så Bitcoin lever ändå vidare i en mening.

Sverige har väl ingen Bitcoin ATM?

Antal butiker som tar BTC har stått stilla i flera år efter att utvecklarna motarbetat Bitcoin som betalmedel. Varför skulle någon vilja ta betalt eller betala när en överföring kan kosta flera hundra kronor och ta flera veckor och med utvecklare som jublar över detta?

Använd istället Bitcoin Cash som betalmedel (För små betalningar) eftersom det är till för just detta. Då slipper du dessutom bli hånad av Bitcoin-utvecklarna och lagrar inga små transaktioner i deras blockkedja som de kallar spam.

Förr fanns det butiker som accepterade Bitcoin som betalning men de blir allt färre och Bitcoin-förespråkarna jublar. Bitcoin-utvecklarna har ju kämpat i flera år för att försöka stoppa användare att t.ex. köpa kaffe med Bitcoin. Bitcoin är numera förändrat till ett "settlement layer" eller "store of value".

Vill du göra betalningar istället för att bara samla på coins ska du använda Bitcoin Cash. Där välkomnas nya butiker och valutan satsar på betalningar, stora som små.

I agree it's a weird sentence. I think what is means is that when you send BTC to that address it will automatically be sold as a market order on btc-exchange.com however as a protection for you they will not accept a sell order below 5% of the current price. In that case you will instead get the deposit at btc-exchange.com and you may manually place a limit order at whatever price you choose.

No, it was sent to a third party account. I do not wish to use my own bank. That's why I use Mistertango
