41  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [W] Bitcoins [H] Payza on: April 14, 2015, 04:58:25 PM
Hello,

I have around $75. I want Bitcoins @ Preev rate. I will cover the fees.

I am think about getting BTC equivalent to USD minus fees. Any offers are welcome but please don't go for very low amount. I can also trade small amounts. Thank you!

You need to read this thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1023382.0

As of now, such transactions are considered to be "unauthorized".

It's not really "as of now," this policy has been in place for quite some time. We have a list of approved "Authorized Exchangers" it is not permitted to provide exchanger services without being approved by Payza. This helps to protect our members and ensure that they get the best service.
42  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payza, Bitcoin, and Unauthorized Exchangers on: April 14, 2015, 01:44:06 PM
Well, its really sad to hear that we can't trade with users our payza->bitcoin and vice versa; Btw a week has passed and my account is still not verified after supplying all the required documents.

Unfortunately due to the risk involved and the number of complaints we receive regarding unauthorized exchangers these restrictions were something we felt was necessary to help protect our members as much as possible.

Besides being able to use Payza to buy and sell Bitcoin, we also have a number of authorized exchangers (varies by country) that you can use as well to get more out of Payza. The list of authorized exchangers can be found here: https://www.payza.com/exchangers

As for verification, it can take up to 5 business days for our team to review verification documents, but I believe the Easter holidays caused a bit of a backlog that may be delaying verification reviews slightly. You should have a response soon.
43  Economy / Service Discussion / Payza, Bitcoin, and Unauthorized Exchangers on: April 13, 2015, 03:08:04 PM
Hello, we've noticed that people are using this forum board (edit: this post was moved to Service Discussion from Currency Exchange) to advertise exchanger services, that is buying or selling Bitcoin for Payza funds without authorization from Payza to provide these services. There are a couple things we wanted to point out here.

First of all, using an exchanger that has not been authorized by Payza goes against our User Agreement, that means that Payza can limit or close your account for taking part in these kinds of transactions (note: normally the person soliciting services will have their accounts closed, however the User Agreement specifies that there could be consequences for taking part in either side of the transaction). More importantly, an unauthorized exchangers claims to provide services that we have not had a chance to review, this means that we cannot guarantee these exchangers will provide the promised service.

Second, Payza already offers a way to Buy and Sell Bitcoin directly within your Payza account. You can read about it on our blog.

Sell Bitcoin: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/announcements/bitcoin-deposits-payza/

@Payza, este foro es en español. Si vas a hablar algo que no sea español, mándale un PM.

Lo siento, estaba ayudando a un cliente, no me di cuenta que no estaba permitido para ayudar en otro idioma

Hola freemind1, I apologize for the inconvenience. From what I was told there was a backlog of Bitcoin withdrawal transactions, however they should all have been processed now.

Has your transaction been completed? If you are still waiting to receive your Bitcoin or if you having any other questions about Payza I'd be more than happy to help.
46  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A look at what's coming next for Payza and Bitcoin on: April 01, 2015, 02:56:11 PM
Deposit fees are still higher than Neteller, I hope that they'll lower them to be equal at least.
Even if it say "free" the price is lower then the global market.

Compare
https://www.payza.com/fees
https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

Looking at our fees page, I believe we can be clearer about disclosing how we calculate the exchange rate for Bitcoin Deposits and Withdrawals. I've brought this up with our team and I think there will be changes made shortly. We will soon be listing the real-time buy and sell prices with our spread factored in.

Essentially, our spreads on both sides is 2.00% over our own wholesale buy and sell costs, which itself can vary compared to the global BBB that you linked to. While the price is stable, that spread shrinks, and it grows when the price is volatile. Currently the difference between the buy and sell prices is about 5.5%, we like to have that closer to 5.0% which is exactly in line with our foreign currency exchange rates (2.500% on either side, buy or sell).

It's important to note that Payza is not a traditional Bitcoin exchange, our service is more in line with traditional currency conversion. The vast majority of our members use Payza for much more than Bitcoin exchanges, and this service acts as an introduction to Bitcoin for our interested members. We have attracted new members that have a greater interest in Bitcoin since adding this feature, but admittedly, for early adopters and savvy Bitcoin users who are more concerned with getting the best rates, Payza may not be for them.

Can I buy Bitcoin with a personnal Payza account, or only a Business account?

You can buy Bitcoin with any type of Payza account, personal or business, but your account must be verified. This blog post has all the instructions and details: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/why-use-payza-announcements/buy-bitcoin-with-payza/

Hi all,

New on the Payza blog, we've announced our short and long term plans for how you will be able to use Bitcoin on our platform, read it here:

49  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Interesting Bitcoin stat from Payza on: March 27, 2015, 08:52:54 PM
Bitcoin s a great addition to Payza service. However, there s one significant drawback. You guys do not allow BTC to be purchased by funds deposited from our credit cards?Huh!!!

Cex.io allows it, bunch of other services allows that. That s the easiest way to fund our accounts. If I need to fund my Payza account using bank transfer, it s easier for to send the money directly to the exchange. Pls, fix this.

This is our first step into the world of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies, we're still learning as we go. Right now the fraud and chargeback risk is still too high for us to allow for credit card funds to be used to buy Bitcoin, but our team is working on a solution for that.

We are working on several ways to expand the Bitcoin-related services that Payza provides, look for more options to become available this year!
50  Economy / Service Discussion / Interesting Bitcoin stat from Payza on: March 27, 2015, 04:41:21 PM
Payza's been offering Bitcoin withdrawals and deposits for several months now. We've had some great feedback from our members, many have tested out the feature and a large number have used it multiple times already.

Well, just this week we had an event we weren't expecting, and it's something we wanted to share with this forum. Earlier this week, for the first time since the Bitcoin Withdrawal feature was made available on our platform we saw a day where we had more Bitcoin Withdrawal transactions initiated than any other Payza withdrawal option! The volume of Bitcoin transactions on our network has been increasing steadily, but this took us by surprise and we thought you would like to hear about it.

If you'd like to learn more about Payza Bitcoin Deposits and Withdrawals check out the Payza blog:

51  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Payza to BTC withdraw question on: February 09, 2015, 03:35:26 PM
Hi every one.
So you maybe already know that Payza had enabled withdrawing funds to BTC. So that could be a very nice way of buying BTC using my CC/bank account without dealing with unknown exchangers etc, but the question is if any one of you guys actually tried that service? For example, if I deposit some money to my Payza account and then buy BTC won't Payza get suspected and froze my account (like they think about money laundering etc)?
I have a verified Payza account with my bank account attached (USA), I used it like 4-5 times, deposited totally around 1k$ and was paying for some random services, so the idea is to deposit money and buy BTC but I'm afraid that could lead to some troubles and after that it would be hard to get money out of Payza (you know how low could be service of such companies when they wanna steal your money Smiley)

Hi kxp, thanks for your interest in Payza, maybe we can help clear a couple of things up for you. As mentioned already, your account does need to be verified to use the Bitcoin Withdrawal option. Since that's already the case, you're already one step closer to your first Payza Bitcoin withdrawal.

In most cases that will be enough to use your Payza account to buy and sell Bitcoin and to take advantage of all the other features Payza has to offer. In some cases, usually related to volume, additional verification details may be required, but additional verification is generally the exception not the rule.

I should let you know that you will not be able to withdraw by Bitcoin using funds that have been deposited by Credit Card. We are looking for ways to make this viable but right now the risk of fraud is still too high. This blog post has more details about how to Buy Bitcoin with Payza including the step-by-step instructions to create a transaction: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/why-use-payza-announcements/buy-bitcoin-with-payza/

If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Payza Now Accepts Bitcoin as a Payment Method on: October 29, 2014, 01:50:31 PM
Hi all,

This is actually not even our first dip into Bitcoin waters. In August, Payza launched a Bitcoin Withdrawal option that let our members buy Bitcoin using the funds in their Payza e-wallet account: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/why-use-payza-announcements/buy-bitcoin-with-payza/

Last week, we closed the circle and allowed our members to sell Bitcoin back to Payza, with the fiat being added to their Payza balances in USD currency: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/announcements/bitcoin-deposits-payza/

If you are selling BTC to Payza, you can then withdraw your funds through several methods including Bank Transfer, Bank Wire or Credit Card (note, depending on availability by country). You can also use that money to shop online at the more than 100,000 merchants that accept Payza payments, or use it to purchase e-gift cards at some of the most popular brick and mortar retailers and restaurants. The Payza platform is also a great way to send money online instantly to friends and family around the world.

We're around to answer any questions you may have about Payza. We encourage you all to open a free Payza account and test out our platform for yourself. There are never any monthly or yearly fees for having an account, any fees would only apply to transactions carried out on our platform.
53  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Payza adds Bitcoin Deposits as newest funding method on: October 24, 2014, 06:58:20 PM
Thats really good thing ..But they took 2 to 3 days to withdraw through BTC :PIt should me instant

In order to protect our members we review each Bitcoin withdrawal. If we have reason to believe your account has been compromised a withdrawal will not be processed. Because of the nature of Bitcoin, it would be nearly impossible to recover these funds in the case of compromised accounts, so the review period is very important to our members.

Note that the price you pay to buy Bitcoin is locked in at the moment your transaction is confirmed, so price fluctuations will not affect the amount of Bitcoin you receive.

Also, Bitcoin deposits with Payza ARE instant! So as soon as your Bitcoin is received, your account will be credited and you can send, spend or withdraw those funds as you see fit.

Ohh.. so you guys plan on hosting a wallet too?
That's great!

If you guys need any support on using bitcoins,
feel free to ask some questions around the site Smiley

Thanks for the support. We currently have some fantastic people consulting us including Charlie Shrem ( http://www.coindesk.com/payza-launches-bitcoin-buying-consumers-190-countries/ ), but more help and advice is always welcome.  Smiley

Its able to receive usd in payza account, then convert it to bitcoin and make withdrawal to bitcoin wallet?

Yes, with our Bitcoin Withdrawal option (details here: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/why-use-payza-announcements/buy-bitcoin-with-payza/ ) you can buy Bitcoin using the funds in your Payza account. The conversion would happen at the time of the withdrawal, right now you still cannot hold BTC in your Payza account, but more Bitcoin features are planned and in the works already!
56  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Payza adds Bitcoin Deposits as newest funding method on: October 23, 2014, 07:28:18 PM
Thanks for the support everyone! Keep an eye on Payza for even more Bitcoin features coming soon.
57  Economy / Service Announcements / Payza adds Bitcoin Deposits as newest funding method on: October 23, 2014, 06:37:22 PM
Hi all,

Earlier this year Payza became the first full service e-wallet to allow members to purchase Bitcoin when we introduced our Bitcoin Withdrawal option. Today, we take another step towards full integration of Bitcoin onto our platform by introducing Bitcoin Deposits: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/announcements/bitcoin-deposits-payza

The new deposit feature gives Payza members an instant, hassle-free way to convert their existing Bitcoin to USD, or to use their Bitcoin to complete a purchase at the more than 100,000 merchants that process payments with Payza.

If you have any questions about the new service or if you have feedback to offer, let us know.
58  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Payza now has Bitcoin Withdrawals on: August 13, 2014, 07:27:18 PM
Wow just came to know this, Very good news indeed finally I'll be able to withdraw or maybe i'll just stick with payza..! this provides a fair option for people  who are living in countries where payza doesn't allow direct withdrawal to banks.
 Way to go payza.

Thanks, and just so you know, we've also opened up an instant Credit Card withdrawal option, so now there are 2 lower cost alternatives to pricey Bank Wire Withdrawals in most countries.
59  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-12] CD: Payza Introduces Bitcoin Buying Option in 190 Countries on: August 13, 2014, 07:08:13 PM
And there goes your BTC anonymity : {Payza needs these documents, before your account is verified}

• Proof of Address document: This may be a utility bill, phone bill, credit card statement or bank statement. The name and address must match with the information listed in your Payza account.

• Proof of Identity document: This should be a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. You can also send us a regular Photo ID, as long as your date of birth is visible.

Next question : Where do you get your exchange rate from? {Hope it's not artificially bumped with a few %} for some extra income.

Good thing about this, is the low fee. {2%}

As an online payment processor and MSB, Payza obviously follows the laws and regulations of the countries where we provide services. A big part of that involves following AML and ATF (Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing) regulations. We realize that simply because a Bitcoin user wants to remain anonymous that does not mean they plan on taking part in this kind of activity, but it does not change the fact that there are rules and regulations we must follow. If Bitcoin anonymity is important to you then yes, Payza may not be your best Bitcoin buying option.

To provide you with the best price, the exchange rate is a blended rate from the market and our liquidity partners, it is updated in real-time. The 2% fee charged by Payza is where we get our compensation for the service.
60  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-08-12] CD: Payza Introduces Bitcoin Buying Option in 190 Countries on: August 13, 2014, 02:45:17 PM
After having read the whole article I'm still a little unclear in that it appears there is actually no BTC wallet, just some account that allows someone to identify themselves in order to open said account and spend money Huh

Wait, no. Basically, this is a way to send money to an account and actually purchase BTC w/ it based upon a flat 2% fee and then can transfer from account to account for free as I read it. I haven't tried it but is there an actual BTC wallet there w/ an address that people can just send coins to and use there? Or, is the primary benefit here allowing Payza users the ability to get into BTC as a payment option and thus helping adoption which is what I'm leaning towards...?

My favorite part that is fairly clear is
Quote
Given that users are not charged to send funds through Payza, Shrem also remarked that the offering could position the company to become a player in the remittance space, adding:

“[We're] drastically bringing down the price of remittances – 2% total end-to-end. We’re going to be adding the ability to send deposit in bitcoin as well, so you can move bitcoin between accounts and it won’t cost anything.”

Looks like Coinbase and BitPay have major competition now. Smiley

Just wanted to offer a bit of clarification on this product release.

This is just our first step into the world of cryptocurrency in general and Bitcoin in particular. In most countries, Payza members can now use funds in their Payza accounts to buy Bitcoins through our Withdraw by Bitcoin feature, you'll need to supply your own Bitcoin Wallet. This blog post has the step-by-step instructions to create a Bitcoin Withdrawal: https://blog.payza.com/payza-updates/why-use-payza-announcements/buy-bitcoin-with-payza/

You can add funds to your own Payza account or use funds sent to you from another member to buy Bitcoin. Sending funds between Payza members is instant, adding funds by Bank Transfer or Bank Wire takes 2-6 business days. In Canada, members have an instant Add Funds by Interac option. Add funds by credit card is another instant deposit option but (mostly because of the chargeback risks) credit card funds cannot be used to purchase Bitcoin right now.

When you use the Withdraw by Bitcoin featurethe transaction takes 1-3 days to be reviewed in order to reduce the risk of fraud, but the exchange rate is locked in at the moment it is created.

If you have any other questions or comments, please, let us know!
