If this one gonna be purely distribution based rather than mining then don't worry about the algo. You can keep x15 intact. All you need to do is to adapt some cool distribution model where everyone will be able to participate.
So that new comers will be able to took part.

By dead they mean the support for the coin and the Dev is dead not the coin itself. The coin is still trading over exchanges and it's alive. So good luck if you gonna get a fraction of it and lemme know also so that I'll post my address too.

It'll be considered as cloning not as takeover. And everything will be started from beginning. But this is a good approach to bring something very similar to the community. Even I'll be there probably to support it.

Distribution is not over yet and peoples are complaining about the low price. We all know what's the reason for these much low price. Capt already has a merchant even it's getting accepted in lots of exchanges and some good services already has been created for it and a lot more to come. So it definitely has a bright future. And the only thread is right now those dumpers who're still solving captchas and dumping their coins for some bucks by keeping a fraction of it so whenever the price will hike up they'll sell it. But no matter what Capt should rise up again after the distribution so if they're selling cheap then buy cheap and please don't sell, keep it in hold and wait for the dist. to end and then start selling with the higher price.

Hey it doesn't really matter whether you're a newbie or not over here. If you don't even have any android related experience you still can help us by doing lots of other things like asking some merchants to accept Capt and like driving facebook fans and twitter followers by promoting which won't take lots of your valuable time and you don't even need to control accounts for that so that means you don't even have to be a trusted member and all that and if you have lots of times then you probably can create a youtube channel and you can create and post videos of Capt related news, apps and bla bla over there. Or you can probably help by donating as much as you can. There are other ways too in which you can help. Remember Capt will only live and grow only if the community and the Dev wants it to grow. BTW Dev I'm in for the Development and Design related things though I'm not a android Devop But I know a bit of Kivy.
