Simply memorize your passphrase or private key until you return.

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forget brainwallet - could you memorize an entire private key? on: August 27, 2014, 08:43:43 AM
I don't see any reason in memorizing an entire private key when one can simply use a passphrase instead.

107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US consumer protection bureau offers advice on Bitcoin on: August 27, 2014, 08:21:38 AM
New York - The US government has issued an advisory that warns about the risks that Bitcoins and other virtual currencies pose to consumers.

The six-page advisory published by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau tells consumers what they should consider before deciding to use a virtual currency.

For example, it advises consumers to investigate the seller of virtual currencies before buying and to understand what their rights would be if the seller fails to deliver a purchase.

A virtual currency exchange operating in the United States is required to register with the US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, which is part of the US Treasury Department, as a money services business, the advisory says.

But registration does not assure that an exchange is trustworthy.

The agency warns about the danger of attacks by hackers, extreme fluctuations in values, fewer protections, scams and hidden costs.

Bitcoin has existed since 2009. The currency is used primarily in Internet commerce, but is seen by proponents as having potential to create new services in markets that have been hamstrung by weak currencies.

This is an encouraging update for all bitcoiners, simply put its as if the government is realizing the benefits of the bitcoin concept gradually.

Winklevoss twins: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook. The brothers, two of the most influential players in a new generation of investors, say bitcoin will encourage financial openness.

Making a comparism between the two is rather very hilarious.

116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millions of merchants now accept bitcoin for payment. on: August 26, 2014, 10:08:33 AM
Yes, no one will stop this trend. More people are holding and spending btc.

This is true but some merchants still have fear over their acceptance of BTC.For instance, Bandcamp still prefer paypal payments instead of Bitcoin regardless of the large popularity of bitcoin.

118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The government could destroy Bitcoin on: August 26, 2014, 09:58:08 AM

Certainly, they are rather building its potentials and value if they carry out these actions .
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Believe Bitcoin Will Replace Fiat? on: August 26, 2014, 09:53:40 AM
I have a hard time following the logic when people make a statement that Bitcoin will replace all fiat currency.  In my world view, they coexist and will continue to coexist.  I can see where some fiat currencies die and Bitcoin fills in the gap, but not on a global level.  Your thoughts?

Your perspective on this issue is noted but the general overview states it all with the growth and expansion of the bitcoin network.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bandcamp and Bitcoin on: August 26, 2014, 09:51:04 AM
It is really shocking to realize that a merchant like Bandcamp is yet to approve BTC as a means of payment. Its as if they are not updated on the wide spread acceptability level and confidence that s dawn on bitcoin. The earlier they realize this i think the better for them though this is just my own perspective on this issue.
