Electrum was created in 2012. The news of Electrum to support lightning network was in October, 2019 and the developers released version 4.0.1 in 2020. You can go to their update release to see that.
I understand now. We are in lighting version. I thought we were talking about Electrum as the whole copy. Misunderstanding and I was wrong, sorry. Good work btw. |

For example, I do not regularly check whether the Bitcoin I received is "dirty" or not. I know that I got it lawfully, but now I have to worry about whether the exchange to whom I trusted and sent my money will seize them because they estimated that someone once used the same Bitcoin for illegal things.
How about someone knows your address, they have "dirty" money, they sent a little amount to your address and your all coin become "dirty". I guess as we progress, as the days are going - we are becoming more paranoid. There is a scary environment everywhere. :-( |

Hello - I'm running a full Bitcoin Core Node using Start9 and have been consistently experiencing issues connecting to my node. The particular issue I've noticed is in my Electrum Wallet. Inside the Network section on my wallet, under the Proxy options, the option to "Use Tor Proxy at port 9050" constantly disappears and I am unable to connect to my node. Any idea why this is?  When the Proxy is active - use TOR at port 9050, you need to keep your TOR browser active to receive connection. In other words, you can not connect the Electrum wallet if your TOR browser is close. 1. Open your TOR browser, let it run in the background. 2. Open Electrum. how does this work in Wasabi wallet? do I simply have to leave the CoinJoin running until 100% privacy is reached for my wallet? and is 100% possible or will it get near 100%? If hundred percent is reached, is it better to leave the coins on the current wallet or send everything to a new one?
I used their coinjoin long time ago. As far as I can remember they have different set of anonymity. You can chose the one which is appropriate for you. Higher anonymity cost your higher service fees. I don't think 100% anonymity is not what you are looking for, you are looking for the break of the chain. After receiving the coins you can either keep it in Wasabi wallet or you can move to a new wallet, that's not a big deal. But you will never connect the old address with this new coins that you received. |

After channel opening, low fee can be used for lightning transactions which can be good for daily or frequent transactions. Transaction confirmation time is very fast which is just a matter of few seconds.
I guess many of us do not use lightning network very often. I can not remember when was the last time I used it and always felt it's not convenient for regular use. I can not face such issue because nobody was unable to scam me even when I am using decentralized exchange P2P and also when I am trading directly with people.
Until now you are lucky, that's all you can say for yourself :-). You will never know a bad day will come and you will become a victim. It's always good to stay alert all the time and follow the official guidance, common sense and experience. Good luck to you. I heard that Bybit P2P customer support are slow to respond but I have used the exchange P2P many times and no issue of taking it up to customer care. If you follow the rules of P2P trading and be wise about it, you will have less issues and no loss of money.
I have not used ByBit but I always do P2P exchanges, there are twice I had bad experience. Fortunately I did not lose large amount of money that I was not able to recover the loss. |

Hello guys, is it possible to advertise a parser here for betting on peculiar matches in esports? By peculiar, I mean, for example, when there's a significant odds shift in Chinese bookmakers that European bookmakers don't notice.
What is a parser? Is this a tool or you are suggesting a way for arbitrage betting? If that's arbitrage betting then I guess none of the sportsbook will appreciate it. To be honest sportsbook do not like arbitrage betting. It eventually don't make money for the house. |
