I've already shifted my trading there soon as I realized this. The bulk of the volume is Cryptopia It may be, but I don't particularly like Cryptopia

Congratulations HoboNickels Community, we have reached block 6 million and POW ends with it. From now on, HoboNickels is a pure POS blockchain. Happy staking. Everything appears very well so far as well.. One thing to mention. If there is no PoS block for 10 minutes a PoW would be accepted. Otherwise we shouldn't see another one. Hi Tranz ,I have a HBN in cryptopia ,the windows wallet is extremly slow,.Any advice.? I like this coin for a years. Thank you. If you don't want to host your own wallet you can put your coins on btcpop. They have a wallet running and it's a staking exchange. but you'll have to trust them with your coin.

PSA:
Cryptopia is attempting to extort 2BTC plus institute KYC requirements for the entire dev team for each coin... seemingly randomly right now. HBN was the first to get hit. CAP can't be far behind. If you're still on Cryptopia it might be a good idea to think about switching exchanges.
not randomly, and CAP will die of natural causes, like subsat price perhaps lol I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt... but yeah, HBN has a huge memory demand.

I tested. Sold a bit. Took 2 day for depo, but did come through, not sure the hold up.
Just processed withdraw now. Will let you know.
Withdrawal came through no issues. Overall I like the site, it is a least a good option for now. I signed up at BTCPop.co and deposited 1k HBN and went through in a couple of hours. Well we have at least one exchange to buy/sell HBN, better than none! BTCPop has been in business for a couple of years, from what I was able to find out about them. Easy sign up, too. Peace, Dennis I've got some coins sitting on that exchange as well.

Anyone hear from those scam fuckers at Cryptopia?

Cryptopia is starting it's extortion stage of the game... they're looking to capatalize on shifting to a new KYC requirements where they want every dox for the entire dev team... but that's not all... they also want 2 BTC to keep the coin listed...
HBN got hit already. I'm sure every coin will be shaken down eventually.

Trading in the DOGE market started to almost slow down to a halt at Cryptopia like it did about five months ago and then they delisted all those coins last week which sped it up again. There are a lot of good exchanges that have opened up in the last six months. Coinex.com is definitely one of them. Novaexchange is not open to USA accounts, but they may be willing to take Bottlecaps. I believe sometimes they are free. Also, Tradesatoshi seems friendly to coins like bottlecaps and I think they tried to list us a while ago. We should update Coinmarketcap about these changes. But we always have to be careful. Mercatox got hacked and so far it's been over two weeks and many assets are frozen although they keep trading and adding coins while probably 50% of people's balances are frozen. The coin exists on freiexchange already. The only downside is there are limited coins there and there is no fiat. Double edged sword I say but I've moved all my small trading there.

(I could be wrong here, but ...) The 2BTC isn't a big a problem as the KYC. I understand KYC, but it is a 2 edged knife. You are giving your dox, to who, exactly? What are their security measures, how likely are they to get hacked, sell your dox, etc... What guarantees are they offering, and do you trust them? The point of this - to me - is TRUSTLESS relationships. How will that fly with traditional regulations, and relationships ... not well, but that is the point - or atleast one point.
any guy who tells me he's about to keep my security his 1st priority is trustless by default. why ? because i didn't ask him to, lol i mean crypto was designed to be self-sustaining, self-securing mech, providing financial freedom and anonymity, not just another "asset" in the matrix It's because they're handling FIAT... however they're located outside the US so the KYC requirements would have to be adopted by New Zealand in order for them to be mandated to follow this... that or their owners may be American and/or in the US which would allow the SEC to push them in that direction. Anyway, I've requested a coin add on FreiExchange. Since they don't handle FIAT transactions it should be relatively painless. Ticket # is 691103 https://freiexchange.comIf you want to see their helpdesk: https://helpdesk.freiexchange.com/index.php

Topia is still saying the wallet is in maintenance, so even if you have HBN there, you can't get them.
Seriously, there is nothing wrong with the chain for HBN. It's not hard to get the wallet up.
They say, the wallet will be up in time to withdraw.
Right... they're trying to extort 6k USD for them to keep it on the exchange... which means that they'll continue to make btc off the trades... so......... fuck them.

Go figure... anyway, the company was created in New Zealand. I highly doubt any coin that is stuck on the exchange will be released but I did make a "support ticket".
I stick around in the crypto areas not because it's profitable (it no longer is it seems) but because the innovation may just bring about a more secure way of banking that doesn't allow fractional banking.
EDIT: Since CAP is on FreiExchange, maybe that would make a good new home for HBN?

I wouldn't bet on it... they do their own thing without a care int he world to anything and everything that isn't them. I sent email. I will let you know if any response. I see they still have it out of everything.

Anyone notice their deposits not going to Craptopia? My last deposit timestamp is: 11/08/2018 2:53:47 AM Block Height = 3838315 Current height as of this post = 3839489 That's 1174 blocks behind... EDIT: Coin info says there are 0 connections for the blockchain... it says 0 blocks as well, means they're restarting smth, the wallet or the whole server They're back up. I did submit a ticket... apparently it worked.

I see Craptopia is still keeping the wallet offline... Besides withdrawal issues, is it because they want to squeeze the coin owners?
|
|

Yup! worked with them a bit. 200 confirmations before depo is accepted. So let's get some volume on there now! You are a legend.
