Is Bitcoin Core fully synced before starting Armory?
What are the specs of your computer? CPU? RAM? HDD or SSD?
Post your log files please.
i7 930 2.8ghz 12gb ram (weird triple channel era from 2010) win7 Do log files expose user/ folder names? Is Bitcoin Core fully synced before starting Armory? Are you using an external HDD for the block chain or anything like that? Yes, log files will show folders names where the block chain is located. Sorry slow to edit back in. Yes Core is synced but Armory says 50k blocks behind still? Doesn't make sense. Internal HDD |

Core should be synced, but it probably got behind again. Shouldn't be 50k blocks behind though? i7 930 2.8ghz 12gb ram (weird triple channel era from 2010) win7 Do log files expose user/ folder names? Thanks! |

Using the latest RC version...it's the only version that got me as far as I did. But I can sync maybe 1000 blocks, and it disconnects. Then crashes trying to shut it down. Force quit ArmoryDB and try to resume again.
In the final stretch trying to sync 50k-60k blocks but I feel like I'm getting nowhere. I have to babysit this because it disconnects within an hour or less.
Please don't say I have to delete Databases. I've done that so much and I am getting nowhere.
I really need my Armory functioning again because I'm trying to amend past year taxes.
This is so frustrating. Can I just download Databases and/or blocks from somewhere/someone else?

I have been waiting for 24 hours on my waves withdrawal and it still says "In process". Support tickets are not being answered.
Can someone help? The wallet is not in maintenance mode. Did I just get scammed?
no mate it happened to me too but instead of withdrawing the waves i requested it to be cancelled and sell it to btc i think its been a long issue between waves wallet of yobit so instead of waiting for your wave just ask the mods from chatbox to cancel your withdrawal request. A moderator finally replied this morning and they said I would have to wait for support/tech. That they can't cancel orders. |

What moderator did you PM? The chatbox is full of pump & dump scammy kids with a L0 or L1 after their name. Nobody answers me and I have no clue who the moderators are here. |

What is the max supply of emercoin?
There will be no pre-mining. Binaries and sources will be available on December 11 2013 Moscow (12:00 +3 GMT). - Total coins: 1 * 10^9 EMC No limit - PoW block spacing changes from 10 seconds to 10 minutes depending on number of found blocks and difficulty. - Award for block is 5020 EMC ( decreases depending on complexity) - Difficulty is recalculated each block - PoS - 6% per year - Confirmations for new block : 32 OP said it is no limit. I think the price is the highest cause it is listed on btc38 EMC/CNY. Maybe more pumps, who know. bleh, I don't like coins with no limit. Hard to visualize without a supply growth chart. |

xpub keys are BIP32 extended keys. Armory does not support BIP32 yet and thus does not produce these keys.

Messing with a watch-only android wallet called Sentinel. It is asking to input an xpub address. Where can I find this in armory?
Is that what bip32 is? Keeps track of everything including future change addresses?

One last question. What is the emission / inflation rate of monero and where does it end? currently at 11.8m according to coincap...will it go higher than that?
The base supply for variable rewards (each block pays out a tiny fraction of the remaining base supply, so as a result the block reward continuously decline slowly) is about 18.4 million. Once the reward reaches a minimum of 0.3/minute (0.6 per block given the current 2 minute blocks, though that could change) it will stay there forever. In theory this means the total supply is infinite, but once it reaches the 0.3/minute level the rate of growth will be very slow, <1% per year. The first page says this... [2] Initial number of atomic units is M = 2^64 - 1. However, once the block reward reaches 0.3 XMR per minute (sometime in 2022) that is treated as the minimum subsidy, which means that Monero's total emission will forever increase by ~157680 XMR annually. So M = 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 ? I'm not understanding something there... Yes, but with the caveat that the "atomic unit" of Monero is 1e-12 XMR, so M = 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 atomic units = 18,446,744.073... XMR oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. An M to XMR is like a Satoshi to BTC. So the current amount of inflation is gradually descending. What would be the expected supply of XMR by 2022? |
