I never wanted to post those messages here. But this is too much now. Going to donate his (not his but eeecurrency) 0.3 BTC to child charity soon.

 Roll Eyes

I just bet. If you had any inclination to do that you would've simply given it back to me. Unless you are saying you want to punish me? Mind you, for what reason now? I said I would've posted that I made a mistake at the moment you refunded me - same time man, same time. But you want me to apologize and believe you'll refund me in 8 hours. Now you want it to be believed you're going to give it to charity funny guy Wink

I could have thought the same thing about you when I refused your extortion. Keep it out of charity? From a poor guy that "begged" (right?) for a discount.

...be aware that you come to this thread to post this is damaging his business, that's why "apologies" is asked.

Perhaps. But I have people who depended on me making some progress with this and my reputation with them is basically destroyed, but he already knows that, and I should care more about his business when he has no regard for mine? And ues, it's not about IQ for me anymore. It's about satisfaction, fairness... and 'EQ'.

Well,
It's interesting the effect that any and all of this has on a newbie.

Being somewhat new (ie: I'm learning to program bitcoin, but I have far to go with completely understanding the technicals of the network. I've made money trading forex, and I understand a little bit how to trade bitcoin, but I have no fully dove into trading. And I had only run across one bitcoin trading robot (opensource) prior to this; had trouble configuring or getting help, and gave up on it), and ran across one other trading robot whose developer told me that the btcrobot was a scam).... I'm "new" like that.

So, I was "right there" with buying this, until I start running in to threads like this.

I've since learned that bitcoin trading robots are not new, and that there have been many before this one. I've had one other developer agree to modify one of their bots, make no guarantee, tell me the real deal about using trading bots, and agree to add "stop loss" to it for a very reasonable price.

One thing I can say, it's been pretty educational.

Keep it coming.

Well, I thought I'd see what would happen, so about a week before launch I signed up to get an affiliate at clickbetter and threw the banner on our page.

I just checked and see the following:

42 clicks
0 sales...

Oh well...

I was just thinking...

What if a major player refused to deal in Gold, and ran across an entity with something that they really wanted, but that entity said "give us Gold or no deal!". But the major player also found that where they went so many other entities were dealing in Gold that they we becoming quite stable (even wealthy?) from the market that had been created using Gold. And to their dismay they had been effectively locked out of this market for refusing to deal in Gold... or Beads, or Stones, or Bitcoins...

just thinking...

87  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Virtual Currency Bridge Between BitCoin and US Dollar on: June 05, 2013, 04:16:39 AM
A person buys a sweater. They return it to the store and are given store credit.  Store credit is a virtual currency. It can't be converted back into cash, but this person could trade their store credit to a second person for a CD.  Then, the second person could go to the store and use it to buy a sweater. I don't see how that could possibly be illegal as long as the business doesn't turn a blind eye to money launderers.

Yes, not only have I seen people do this all the time. Not only that, I've also seen stores allow it all the time.

As a matter of fact, my girl has bought detergent from the store, didn't like it (opened!) and returned it, was given credit on a gift card, gave the gift card to someone else who then bought something from the store. In one case they gave her the $0.96 back in cash instead of leaving it on the card.

So:
A "premier ad service for bitcoinsocially..." which allows you to "Use this advertising service to bring a new wave of traffic to your website today!" is a bitcoin faucet?

I thought a bitcoin faucet was something else. Can you help me understand?

Thanks

Bitcoin Dr

People involved in bitcoin are some of the most free thinking innovative people I've seen. I dig the way you've implemented this.

I'm very close to releasing an automated bitcoin escrow service at: https://coinguard.org <-- check it out and give me your feedback.

My intentions are to work closely with the community to build features, bugs, improvements, and trust overall.

Thanks

Good Luck. I hope you keep up. Escrow people are the cream of the crop. The chosen few. Most people are into exchange. You're the exception.

I just started the research, but does anyone know of any catalogs or stores (revision control systems) that sell or other present a listing bitcoin programs, scripts, and systems?

I'd very interested in starting one for 3rd party developers, sellers, and resellers.

I appreciate you guys time.

Thanks,

Now, maybe I CAN post somewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

Every topic thats interesting to me does not provide me with any link or means to post or reply to anything. I certainly don't have time to go threw ALL of the topics.

What do I have to do?
