Have you got similar fans to offer but slightly more silent? Something under ~ <35 decibels

Nope.

bump for ya

However, the 3 pin to molex adapters are absolute junk.  Before I had even used two of them, one had pulled the prong out of the molex adapter and two others had the wires separate from the molex prongs.

If you purchase these, I advise you consider buying 3 pin to molex adapters separately.

Dan

I haven't had any issues with my adapters when I got them.  Might just be luck of the draw, but I like these molex adapters.  I also have a molex crimper in case they came loose Smiley

I recently switched molex suppliers. I've shipped 4 new molex replacements to DBordello in his most recent order. He will be back to review them when he receives it.

Obviously things couldn't have been too bad, I ordered four more fans.  sc8nt4u was nice enough to toss a couple more molex adapters in the order.  As I said before, the fans are great.  I will be sure to report back how the new adapters are.

Dan

As I had previously mentioned, I ordered 4 additional fans (8 total).  The new molex adapters he shipped are great, no problems so far.

Dan

Glad to hear everything worked out okay  Smiley.

Working ram only  Smiley. PM me a price that includes shipping to Zip Code 95035.

I can get you two NIB Kingston KVR800D2N6/2G for $70 shipped, firm or two used for $55.

No thanks. I don't need new ram, I just need as cheap as possible for my HTPC.

What are your references? Would you be willing to ship first to a member with significantly more references?

Seller was very prompt, faster than I'd expect. This 1 fan in a nzxt tempo evo made my temps drop 15C, its really pumping air in there. Contemplating buying 2 more to make it a vacuum, But doubt i'll survive the noise.

Can anyone comment on how loud (or quiet) these fans are when used with a fan controller?

Assuming a linear correlation between voltage, CFM, and RPM. Turning the voltage down to 5V would net you a ~ 0.417 ratio (5V divided by 12V), resulting in ~54RPM at ~1333 RPM @ 5V .

However, sound is on a logarithmic scale and would scale differently. The equation to figure out sound would look something like this:

log(1333 rpm/3200 rpm) = log(x dB/48 dB), x ~ 20dB. Looking up other fans that spin @ 1300rpm +/- 10%, I see that this noise level aligns well with other fans.

what did you use all this for? I kind of want to make a fusor reactor but i'm sure that would be one hell of a project. 40k in this stuff is a lot of money.

Judging from the background of the photos, the items look like they were from a liquidation/surplus sale. Especially since some of the items have numbers written on stickers, and a pallet in the background.

never heard of xion psu, anygood?

Works for me. Bought it based off http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6850.

Jonnyguru forums says it has the same internal build as the Kingwin ABT-1220MA1S, which has pretty good power output and efficiency for the price. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2008/08/19/kingwin_abt1220ma1s_mach_1_power_supply/4

About $200 then... not bad!

The RP alone is worth more than $200.

Chieffery has graciously allowed me to take a look at the account, and yes, every hero is unlocked, with every skin, and more IP/RP than you'll ever need. There is enough RP/IP to buy every new skin/hero for more than 2 years.

Maybe you've been screwed in the past, but not by me so you shouldn't make lame accusations...

I have not been scammed online yet, due to my own due diligence in sniffing bad deals out. I will take you up on your offer and take a look at the account if you want someone reputable to take a look. I play LoL and have a good track record.
