Is donation SHA wallet still correct ? BTW awesome work with maintaining the project   It's seems SHA network is working  without any problem even after difficulty spike, no forks whatsoever.

Just shut it down and restart. Usually will pick right up where it left off.

IIRC, SHA wasn't too bad for that. TEK, Sync, and a few others I've been involved with were TERRIBLE. Like seriously couldn't leave them for more than an hour or the sync would stick. Newer code seems to recover better when whatever sticks the import of the chain, but it still happens.
