I've never seen a real crisis where people bring out their gold. There's usually a lot of lead moving around.
Gold was used in Zimbabwe, its used in Vietnam now and I guess maybe other countries though not in the street to buy food I doubt. A loaf of bread was 1 gram which is a rip off but worthless cash causes problems and the bread was coming from south africa Then are you telling that Gold is much more bigger in value compared to BTC? |

How big can I make if I start investing bitcoin right now? I mean.. in dollars. Actual money. Take some advice from someone who has been involved in this sector for a few years: Until you are comfortable with what Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency is and how the markets currently function, only invest a small % of your wealth. Once you start to get the hang of the markets and see the potential of the blockchain, dip in deeper as your wallet permits. This is the Wild West of our lifetime, anything can and does eventually happen in the Cryptosphere. Good advice. Also OP, think about what you mean by "actual money". Look at the actual nature of the euro or dollar or yuan. What are they backed by, if anything. What is the purchasing power history of each. No one can tell you the answer to your question because no one knows. It is all speculation based on use, supply, demand and adoption. I think this one should be shared to every newbie there is. |

You do not think of the amount you invest, just make sure that the place you invest it in is a good place to start your investment.

Free speech is important but it would be brilliant if the forum just deleted users once a certain ignore threshold is reached.. What exactly is the 'report to moderator' link for? In any moderated forum action would have been taken long ago, but AFAICT this place is completely unmoderated... (EDIT: despite claims that there are in fact moderators here - given the level of drivel posted here I find it hard to believe they really exist) There will be trolls wherever you go..
