1761  Economy / Goods / Re: [Selling] $15 Amazon.com Gift Card on: January 24, 2012, 04:48:27 AM
you got the coins, right?
Not quite yet, but I do see the transaction on the Block Explorer so I'm confident they'll arrive sooner or later (probably within a few hours) (:

Is your blockchain up to date?  That would be the only reason you don't see them.  If it is for an online wallet, you'll probably need to wait until 6 blocks have passed before you will get credited.
1762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: For sale, $100 Southwest Airlines e-gift card for $75 or OBO. I send FIRST. on: January 24, 2012, 04:47:10 AM
Hello guys. I am selling a $100 Southwest Airlines e-gift card for $75 worth of bitcoin. I will send the e-code FIRST to member with reputation. Price is $75 or first decent best offer.

Still selling?
1763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling $50 amazon gift card for 7.7 Bitcoins on: January 24, 2012, 04:42:00 AM
I got an amazon giftcard for Christmas, I want to convert the money from amazon to bitcoins so I can move it more freely.

I am new to this forum, but if you PM me I think I can work it out.

I am willing to send the actual card by mail, but nothing on the card suggests that simply passing you the card # and activation code is any less functional. I would strongly prefer the latter option, as it is faster for both parties. We can/should use a mediator if you wish, and know of one that you would like to use.

Amazon prepaid giftcard $50 balance for 7.7 BTC or best offer.

6.5 btc
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin.org should be back up soon on: January 24, 2012, 04:00:37 AM
Apologies for any inconvenience. Should be back up soon. Will keep you posted.

I was wondering what happened. I want to make sure this currency survives so that my 134,000 IXC won't go to waste.
Alternatively, I guess I can always trade them for 1.34 BTC since the current IXC Marketplace seems to be lacking items for sale.

If you use btc-e, hurry and trade them.  They are discontinuing ixcoin trading on January 31, 2012.

1767  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Sapphire 5830s on: January 24, 2012, 03:42:37 AM
This is an outstanding offer to buy working Sapphire 5830s.  I'm offering $75/card.  If you have multiples and sell all at once, I'll pay shipping, otherwise, shipping's on you.  If we've traded before and/or you have high trust/forum ratings, I'll pay up front, otherwise, we'll have to work out arrangements.
1768  Economy / Lending / Re: [Closed] Need 1 more loan, 12.75 bitcoins. on: January 24, 2012, 03:40:20 AM
Now that is interesting.  I am in the US and the impression I got from my public school education is that the US has never defaulted on a single loan (yet).  I will have to check that out!  Googling now...

I too thought the closest the US came to a default on its sovereign debt was this last year during the budget fiasco.
1769  Economy / Goods / Re: [Selling] $15 Amazon.com Gift Card on: January 24, 2012, 03:18:20 AM
Yup, selling a code for $15 worth of Amazon credit. Looking for about 2.4BTC (going by the current MTGox average) but might be willing to haggle on that a little... trying to keep close to the original value of it though

proof of legitimacy can be found in my post history/signature, and photo can be seen here

I offer 2 btc.

I'll bite. sending PM in a minute

Sorry for the delay, was afk and didn't get the email notification until just now.
1770  Economy / Lending / Re: [Closed] Need 1 more loan, 12.75 bitcoins. on: January 24, 2012, 02:39:33 AM
To everyone else who loaned to kujoking:

He isn't responding to PMs, emails, invites to gtalk or skype requests, and refuses to publicly answer my questions on this forum.  I've come to expect a default Sad

To kujoking:

I'd be very grateful if you would at least address some of our concerns.  If you began to answer questions and hadn't pulled the "sent coins by accident to someone else" excuse on us, this would look a lot less shady.

To everyone:

I am selling kujoking's debt.  Any serious offers?  PM me for details.

He was last on the forums about 30 minutes ago, so he is/was around, even if he's not responding.

Would people stop fucking doing that...

A proper response is "Would people stop fucking doing that?"
1774  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $100 Amazon gift card for sale - $80 on: January 23, 2012, 03:51:52 AM

1775  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Building my first miner on: January 23, 2012, 03:41:43 AM

Rule #1:  NEVER EVER EVER go cheap on the PSU.  You'll get screwed in no time and then you'll be out more money than if you had paid to get a nice one.

Is the one I've got listed already to cheap?

If you're only going to be using 1 gpu, it should be ok.  If you plan on expanding later on, it'd be better to just buy a bigger one now.
1776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Building my first miner on: January 23, 2012, 03:13:50 AM
Thought I might list the parts I've chosen so far, and you can point out any glaring holes if you feel so inclined. I should point out that I'm not trying to build a high Mhash miner to start of with, just learning how to put one together.

MOBO: AsRock 970-Extreme3 AMD 970 DDR3 Motherboard - $99 (not sure on this)
PSU: A-Power M80 Plus 750W 80+ Certified PSU - $70 (not sure on this either, but I've been told I should spend up here)
CPU: AMD Sempron 145 - $41
RAM: 2GB - $10
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6850  - $168
HD: 8GB USB - $0
OS: Linux

So all up ~ $388 which is a bit more than I'd like, so I'd like to cut down on the MOBO or PSU if possible.

Parts are coming from here http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?

Cheers

Sure.  I'll PM you the code once it's confirmed.

Sent a little over half.
1778  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: $100 Amazon gift card for sale - $80 on: January 23, 2012, 01:18:17 AM
I don't have an IRC, I'd prefer to communicate through these forums, however, if that's not an option for you please send me more details.

How many btc are you requesting for the card?  Do you have any other forum trades?  If you don't have much prior experience, then I kindly ask that you send first and once I confirm it works, I'll send.  I have hundreds of trades via -otc and these forums.  I asked about irc because we could use #bitcoin-escrow if need be Smiley

I have done deals on this forum in the past, I can provide some references.  PM Tril, he fronted me $100 while dwolla was processing.  I have also done graphics work for senbonzakura, qwk, LokeRundt and others.  The card hasn't even been scratched off yet, I can provide photo evidence of that if you wish, but I would prefer to receive the BTC payment of 12.6988 first.

Edit: Or half upfront, half after would be fine.  I really don't think you'll fuck me over, it's just that it's happened too many times before.

Half and half sounds good.  Which address? the one in your signature?
1779  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Open Ended Investment Opportunity on: January 22, 2012, 11:13:25 PM
Thanks for the interest everyone.  I've updated my availability based upon anticipated volume the next 2 weeks.
