back in time I used to mine XMR and LTC solo from my GPU and somtimes I got Lucky and hit blocks
I really miss those days , wonder if still today I'm able to Solo mine LTC or XMR with my GPU

Mining is hardly profitable that's one, two, we are approaching the cycle top (don't ask me how I know, we have been doing the same cycle shit since forever), terrible timing to invest money in mining gears, the next cycle is going to be even more brutal.
My strategy is exist the market slowly (December is probably going to mark the cycle top with 1-2 earlier or later) then a long bear market, start my accumulation, wait for the next cycle.
Sounds about right, I have seen few posts like this one too that Bitcoin top is very near than ever now, I am going to wait and see what ETH does because that's the money I planned to rotate into Bitcoin mining, but it seems I am better off just buying bitcoin at the lows in 2026 if the bear market do hit like few predicted. Thank you for the time you took to reply to my question, I will keep your warning and advice in mind. That's the best investment you can make don't go with mining better invest on BTC when there is the bear market but keep in mind that you need to be disciplined and not to spent any btc more than 5-10 years and also make sure to store them on secured wallet don't keep on exchanges |

I'm still have a little knowledge about Bitcoin. But I’ve been curious about Bitcoin mining, is it really possible to mine Bitcoin using an Android phone?
I have seen a several apps claiming to do this, but I am not sure how legit or profitable they are. I really appreciate any honest insights or advice from you guys. Thanks in advance.
That is not possible at all you may see many apps offering it as those are scam which wait for you to upgrade to make more profit better don't fall for it spend time by making your own research and learn more about how bitcoin works and mining works |

There was a week when I placed over 40 ETH trades. Small wins, big losses, endless stress. My account balance didn’t move much, but my energy was gone.
That taught me that more trades don’t equal better results. Sometimes waiting for one clean setup is worth more than 20 rushed entries.Are you trading with purpose or just trading to feel busy?
that is really over trade you need to stick to discipline and make only 1-2 trades per day, and if there is any day that you are not sure where to place ur entry it's more better not to trade that day its not a big deal if you don't trade on that day consider better to skip a day rather to lose a trade |

When people talk about risk many quickly point to cryptocurrency and forex as the biggest risks anyone can take. However this mid-year August 2025 was a real eye opener. For example my wife invested a lot of time and money in beans this year but when the market crashed the losses were heavy. This shows that even physical investments can be just as risky if not more depending on the circumstances.
Your wife investment seems to be very bad while there are other things better to invest on like silver and gold if she only want to invest on physical investments |

I have seen one interview of a former gambler and what he is saying caught my attention. He says that "when you're winning you can't sleep". I'm not sure if others have experience it or if this make sense. In any case though, one explanation is that we are really in a heightened alert, meaning it's like gambling is like a drugs that keeps up alive and awake and then the human emotions of greed takes in as we want to win for. But the problem is that after that, and in worse case if our luck turns bad, then this drug will like shoot to 100->0 in a instant. Or like when we are about to go to bed and suddenly that inch comes along and let's say that we go on sports bet, but the game will start in the next couple of hours, then we might have difficulty in sleeping and as if we take like 4 cups of coffee or a energy drink because we will for sure can't wait to see that game and hope that our stakes is going to win.
well I don't agree as when you lose you can't sleep thinking how bad you lost it happen to me but then I took a shower and I agreed with the lost but while I'm winning its hard to get up and enjoy the win as I aim for more always then end up losing |

I have been gambling for years, maybe I have been addicted to it at some point even though I never noticed, however I'm a little in control of my gambling activities. Do you trust the person? Do you know him in real life? If you know him and trust him, do you want him to help you run ASICs in his home and not xcollect any money? That ie wrong, you need to give him m share of the money because he is helping you to do the mining.
There is no danger there if the person is trustworthy. But if you do not know the person or you do not trust him, just do not do it.
even if he know and trust the person there is no guarantee what he will not steal the Asic miners and play the victim or time by time to change the address and put his own there is no trust today even if you know the person Op better take the risk to pay ur own electricity but u know that u own them and care about them by ur own be your own boss don't depend on people |

Possible urgent help needed.
Some criminals raided my friends place in the last 13 hours now and they get away with two Asic miners, I doubt they even know what it was because they kept asking my friend what it was with gun pointed to him and his family.
I just want to know if there is possible way to track the Asic miners if they ever come online? I don't know if this is possible though since miners use specific IP address for control and to change receiving/payout address they need to plug the miners and edit the address.
Is there anyway to track Asic miners via IP address or any other ways? Since they don't know what it was I bet they will still have to find ways to figure it out, mind you they stolen other goods in the house too, almost all electronics available was stolen.
Yes there is only 1 way if your friend has put a hidden GPS or Airtag into the Asicminer otherwise there is no way to track it If the criminals put the Asic miners into work without changing the address then it is a win for your friend as he will not pay electricity Hope the police help him to find the miners from security cameras |
