I am interested in hiring a Reddit account.
I would ask the owner to post topics/comments for me for payment.

The account must be active in crypto currencty related subreddits,
have positive karma, able to post topics which will not be removed moderators.

Please PM with offers, state your price for 1 post.

Thank you.

Roger Ver and Andreas Antonopoulos continue to head the list as far as I am concerned

I'd vote andreas as #1 and unfortunately gox as #1 news story but maybe we should pick something more positive.

True, I do need something more positive at the moment.

As for startups, BTCChina was huge this past year.
Bitstamp's input looks more important now that I think of it.
Bitstamp's website was down all day yesterday, couldn't get any money out, doesn't give me a good feeling.

I have a deposit with them, too, nothing big, but a little worried as well.

As for the person of the year, I voted for Vitalik Buterin - you guys have any idea what the guy' s done? And what he's planning to do?

No idea how I missed this Buterin guy - he looks impressive, however my choice is Mr. Antonopoulos.

A lot might change within 2 weeks. Not easy to win at all.

Within 5 to 10 bucks is my guess. The price within two weeks can vary seriously.

BTW, I love the illustrations at Cointelegraph. The art is really cool.

How does the 25% discount work? I just submitted payment, and it didn't seem to have any discount
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Believe Bitcoin Will Replace Fiat? on: August 31, 2014, 09:38:14 PM
The entire purpose of fiat was to be more portable and divisible than gold. Bitcoin is divisible enough and infinitely more portable than fiat. Natural selection will eventually make fiat a thing of the past but it may take decades. Government corruption/violence, and public education/awareness are the only factors that can delay its progress.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will we stop the evil free market Chinese? on: August 31, 2014, 09:31:37 PM
About 150 bitcoins are spread among miners every hour. They are freshly created, specifically for the miners profit, so they don’t steal anyone’s coins.
edit: also the mining farms don’t do anything meaningful (most of the computations are immediately discarded), they mine for the sake of mining, to register the owner as a person on top of the pyramid.

I wouldn't say they don't do anything meaningful. The computations are required work in order to solve the Byzantine Generals Problem.

The Byzantine Generals Problem has been mathematically proved to have no solution. Bitcoin is a workaround, not the first, but certainly the most computationally intensive.
