1  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Antminer S3's for sale on: August 05, 2015, 09:39:49 AM
I'm not that I am insulted at someone recommending that I use an escrow. I am insulted by how people go about posting things on my topic when I do not know nor feel comfortable using an escrow. I got numerous PM's and emails from people that do not trust escrow's just as much as many people here do not trust a newbie selling things. If people don't feel comfortable with me not using an then that is their right but don't slam my post when I am trying to help out potential newcomers to the mining community. I am sure that some time in the future when I personally know someone that uses the service and if I am selling expensive stuff that I will use an escrow but until then it is my prerogative not to use one til i feel comfortable and if people don't like it they can just not post on my threads.

See your post is typical of hipster mentality. You say "established system" like it is actually an established system. You're so pretentious if it were in fact a true "established" system, every site that sells something for bitcoin would require it. It's like going to your garage sale to buy a John Deer mower and saying since i don't know you that I have to get an escrow to make sure that John Deere is not a nock off and runs and makes sure it makes it to my house. Sorry but the world doesn't work that way, if i don't want to take that chance I just don't go to your garage sale, I don't sit outside your garage sale with signs saying things. My point is this is my garage sale if i don't want to take the extra effort to go through an escrow I don't have to, and I didn't have to. Not everyone follows your "established" system. That is the whole point of Bitcoin is that it is not ESTABLISHED.

I just sold the last miner. Thanks to all of you who bought one. I'll probably have more in six months when I replace my S5's, unless I finally get a place that can support all my miners.

And to all those escrow people. I sold 3 miners in one day without needing one. I wasn't selling them for personal gain, I was selling them cheap to help people out that can't afford brand new miners. When I started mining 5 years ago there was a very small community and even smaller help for those who needed it. To all you bitcoin hipsters out there with your escrow's aren't helping anyone if you want to talk shop use PM not someones forum post. I guarantee you someone out there just starting out with some dinky miner that could of beefed up his or hers mining but got scared away with all the bickering about how you were too good to buy something cause it didn't have an escrow, and didn't get one.

I am not going to pay a third party to make sure you get your stuff. I already do that. The last two that I sent out costed me $20 a piece to do just that. Its called UPS it gives a tracking number. It has been used alot longer than escrow. So no I am not going to another person to do what is already being done. That $20 comes straight out of my pocket, Im not asking anyone to pay the shipping. If nobody buys it nobody buys it I'm not hurting for them money. So quit tolling and be serious.

Ok so you don't want to buy them. I don't know what escrow is. I didn't buy them using whatever escrow is and I am not selling them that way. You either want them or you don't. Like I said serious replies only.

I have one Antminer left emailing me seemed to get the other two sold quickly. So anyone else legitimately interested just email me at nerdrage2885@gmail.com, I can have it shipped out before 6 PM EST. I am lowering the last one to $65, 0.23 BTC to help it go faster.

That is a very generous offer but I just sold 2 of them. And what is escrow. I have never sold anything through escrow
8  Economy / Computer hardware / Antminer S3's for sale on: August 03, 2015, 03:54:03 PM
I have 3 antminer s3's for sale. I just purchased 5 S4+'s and my breaker box can't support all of my miners so i have to downsize. They are good for those of you that are just starting out. They run at least 450 GH/s but most of the time they run about 465 GH/s to 502 GH/s without over clocking. I am asking 0.26 BTC a piece for them that is about $75. Not bad considering they run anywhere from $200 - $255 brand new. They have been only used for 3 months. I'll pay the shipping cost to anywhere in United States. If you want one and you live outside of the states I ask that you come up with half of the shipping. You can reply to this post if you are interested or my e-mail at nerdrage2885@gmail.com. My email will probably be easier since my phone is linked to my email and I will get it faster.

To Vod if you were looking to buy a car would you like me to just give you a list of dealers or would you like me to tell you to go to dealerA cause I bought a car there and they gave me a great car at a great price and it has wonderful reviews by other customers. Or don't go to dealer b I have heard thier cars have nothing but trouble.

How ever I am supposed to pay back loan wether it is cash or BTC and I wasn't specifically going to buy ant miners I was just throwing that out as an example. But what ever had real high hash rates that were reliable.
11  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 07:28:45 AM
Escrow sites that aren't just posted in a forum sites that have actual review. I mean come on you paste a link of a bunch of usernames with website. What would have been helpful is maybe a post that goes like this. " I have used such and such escrow site and they helped this many thousands or millions of people and here is a bunch of reviews from a legitimate review site."

I mean come on if I wanted this level of advice I would have just gone to yahoo answers. At least on yahoo answers you know you are getting advice from a 6 year old that has way too much time on mommy and daddy's computer.
13  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 07:03:01 AM
If you would read my posts I was wanting to know what collateral I just wanted a trustworthy way of providing that collateral instead of a list in a post from yet another faceless random poster. Hard evidence and facts.
14  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 06:58:17 AM
Not looking for a loan without collateral. I'm just not going to entrust my belongings that I have worked hard to get to Jo smo without any credible reputation. I was just wanting info. Not a debate about trustworthiness. This is why I only have 15 posts is because people that just talk randomness. Absolutely no help.
15  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 06:29:03 AM
Those look credible I say with extreme sarcasm. I think I'll just continue doing what I have been doing. At least until there are more better viable option, and when there are more real life trusting options.
16  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 06:18:53 AM
And where would I find said third party. Its kind of hard to do especially in my area.
17  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 06:12:29 AM
No what I trying to say is how do I do collateral to some random person. I mean lets say I use my car as collateral what is to stop said person to walk off with my car. There is got to be a more effective way to ensure that this does not happen.
18  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 05:48:55 AM
That would be cool if I were in fact dealing with a bank but I can't just put just anything as collateral to just anybody that would be irresponsible and kind of not smart especially for something as volatile as bitcoin. So there has got to be other ways to get a bitcoin loan.
19  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 05:32:07 AM
What kind of collateral. I don't have much.
20  Economy / Long-term offers / In need of BTC loan to build mining operation. on: December 09, 2014, 04:52:06 AM
I have been trying to build my miners up but on my fixed income it has been hard. I want to buy a couple of ant miners. I'll pay back at any reasonable rate.
