1  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | BITCOIN WALLET | BLOCK EXPLORER | API | MINING POOL on: January 10, 2017, 02:37:28 AM
Acquisition of bitmain seems pretty good for the development of this wallet, from this acquisition I hope to eliminate sending cost which I think is quite high for now, so it could be free like the Coinbase and Xapo.
If there is an elimination of transaction fees like coinbase and xapo does then I would be all for going with this as my main wallet because I just closed my coinbase wallet today. It was a security risk for me to keep it open because of all the allegations lately of them giving customer information when the IRS asks for it and who really wants that to happen to them at tax time. 2  Economy / Speculation / Re: This pull back is great on: January 08, 2017, 09:01:37 PM
This does show that it is not some sort of good rich quick scheme that all in the public did believe at one but now that it is getting global recognition. Many are seeing it in a different light then they once did when it was first introduced in the public eye by way of silk road.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can Hit $2K ? on: January 08, 2017, 08:59:32 PM
At this time it is very difficult to see it even come close to that mark right now.
Maybe later in the year when things are being announced that can affect bitcoin in a positive way.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its not as bad as it looks on: January 06, 2017, 12:54:41 PM
It's just strange that not all exchanges are at the same price yet. They are off quite a bit. One says $890 another says $880 and yobit had it at $986 but since yesterday I could not even get to that site anymore. Undecided
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 06, 2017, 12:49:03 PM
There's a lot of people in the thread who might lose money betting on Chelsea, or maybe not since it's hard to tell who's telling the truth.  Anyway this is a spectacular game even if there's only a couple (or less) shots on target.  The Spurs fans must be going crazy right now chanting and singing Delle Ali songs.

Time to place your bets gentlemen! Grin
Put Chelsea to win at highest odds of 8.2 for an ML win!

I like the bet if Chelsea is at home.  Never underestimate the influence of the home crowd during a match.  They really affect the way players perform in important games like this one.
It wasn't true for that game.
But what about for today's game at London Stadium. It is an FA Cup. So which team is influenced by the crowd for this one? Or is it an even draw for home/away supporters?
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back 2014! on: January 05, 2017, 04:35:07 PM
Here comes the crash Grin. This is the problem with people panic selling. bitcoin price falling down now lol.It was 950$ on btc-e and i refresed the page 5 minutes later and down to 876$. I am a lifetime bitcoin holder and i can take it.I know it will rise again.what do you guys think? i think now price will reach back 600$ in no time. :/
Yes agree it will rise again. There is 983.5 Preev, maybe some new users in bitcoin world will sell it, but I'm holder and will hold in long terms
This is definitely not the time to sell. Just as long as it stays close to $1000 price then it won't go back below $826 again. There had to be a dip some time.
But that's all it was. Just a short dip that bounced back with in a couple of minutes and for the last 3.25 hours it is now on the rebound and recovering.
Recovery takes times, doesn't it? Undecided

They will pull it off I will just bet on it. Wink
Well if I had 1 bitcoin i would chance it for the win. They want to beat the record of 14 consecutive wins today people! So it will happen. No doubt about it, even if they score goal after goal with a shoot out between the two, they will win this one! Cool
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: January 04, 2017, 08:54:44 PM
I certainly do not own one whole bitcoin and at this rate I don't think I will own one for the whole entire year of 2017.
It is near the ATH right now with it being only off by $35. Which I don't see that being a problem to get by the end of today.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and gambling on: January 04, 2017, 07:12:07 PM
I personally don't think it affects the way people gamble by inhibiting them to spend money.
If it did I would think it would have them spend more when the price rises because there is more of a thrill in knowing that you are gambling for more worth then it is actually worth at the time of when your bet was placed.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 04, 2017, 04:06:49 PM
Big game today, between Tottenham and Chelsea. I know it's not a title game yet, but it's very close to that, because if Chelsea wins this one, it will be incredible hard for anyone to follow them with an 8 point lead. I think they will battle really hard for this one, and given their current form, I will put my coins on them.

Tottenham v Chelsea
Chelsea @ 2.68

Im willing to put in 1 bitcoin for this game, If I lose then it is going to be a huge loss with the recent price however If I win can you even imagine that. Chelsea has been keep on winning and their performance is just solid rock. Tottenham might not be able to win against them no matter how hard they try to win
I would be putting my bet on the other team because I like the odds for them winning.
If I only had 1 bitcoin to bet as well I would have.
unfortunately I only had a limited amount of bitcoin available to place a wager so I pick on over on goals instead.
I sure hope this one ends up like the match we were all enthralled by yesterday with Arsenal coming back to win down 3 goals and nearly winning it.
This one should be just as exciting to watch if not even more so. Grin
Big things to be expected from an undefeated Chelsea squad in the last dozen games. But Tottenham are hard to beat on home field and have the advantage there. This has got to be the bout of the week! Wink
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: January 03, 2017, 02:44:44 AM
In my country this debit card is not available to use yet.
It is strange because very many people use it now and it is well known and widely accepted in most world shops from what I heard of now.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jack daniels - does it rot your insides? on: January 02, 2017, 01:59:40 AM
I just finished a liter bottle of Jacks over two nights and my inside feel ok. Go for it!
Two nights? That will rot your liver for sure. So yes it can rot your insides.
You will be pissing blood for a week if not more. Roll Eyes
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Over 25,000 mBTC in Monthly Leaderboards + Regular MONEYBACKS ⚽ on: January 02, 2017, 01:58:34 AM
wow what a great promotion for the EPL , it's really generous thanks a lot sportsbet
just placed 100 mbtc on Man U to win and 100 mbtc on over 2.5 , hopefully I won't need the money back but it's still a great insurance if things go wrong tomorrow  Grin
Looks like you won that bet on both today! Congratulations on winning both.
I bet on them as well and was worried going into the second half without any score so thought it was going to end in under 2.5 goals. But with 5 minutes left in the match they did it again.
They always seem to score late in their matches. They worry me sometimes because they play it cool until the other team scores all the time.

The irony is that when you expect to get the moneyback from the promotions and ended up winning both of them, things are going to be good for 2017  Smiley. I guess everyone who bet for united might been losing their patience if they watch the game as the performance was quite bad however they ended up scoring two comeback goals

I cant agree with it, I cant believe that people who are taking moneyback promo expect to get the moneyback. I do believe they expect to win the bets, simply because of "profit". When you win then you will get profit but if you lose, you get nothing except your initial bet. Too stupid if people expecting the moneyback instead of using it to gain profit IMHO.

That is what they are hoping for in the first place with this promotion. Roll Eyes
That the one picking the over picks will say "Hey I will get this money back if it happens!" So they put the 100mbtc on their wager on a bet that is not likely to win, something like over 6 goals for a soccer game which really only happens 1 in 10 times of games being played. So the odds are really high. But the caveat is that they must of put a 100mbtc bet on the Outright Winner bet so to qualify to get that money back once that ticket loses.
So they are more likely to get more btc out of you.
It is all a fleecing of the gambler's mind to me! Sad
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL/NCAAF 2016 Picks, Tips, Discussion on: January 01, 2017, 07:49:48 PM
Shocked Dolphins just scored now it is 20-14 for the Patriots.

Will Miami be able to actually pull this win off and eliminate New England and the Superman Brady from the Playoffs which as lnog as I have been watching hasn't happened before?

Upd: Well Patriots just ran down the field for 80 yards being on their on 30 year line. So it is not going to happen now. Roll Eyes

I do like warmed mulled wine for this season of the year.
I come from a cold climate so it is nice once you come from the outside. Smiley
18  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to sell BTC on: December 31, 2016, 03:54:06 PM
I want to buy 0.1 BTC

But willing to use escrow.
You might want to seek some one else if you were wanting this done before the new year.
As he has said he is busy today and tomorrow from partying. Smiley

I can sell you some of what you want to buy just not all. Embarrassed
Let me know in a pm how you would want to sort it out and what way you will want to pay.
Happy New year's to you Cosmas and have easy time to sober up after your party. Wink
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Please recommend me a non-pussy online bookmaker for a $50k bet on: September 14, 2016, 08:57:34 PM
The most decent size and well funded site that can take a bet of a big volume close to that would be Cloudbet, They do offer high limits particularly on mainstream events and if you bet close to the time of the match I guess you could get ~30-40 BTC covered in there.

Nitrogensports also does have high limits and you can get around 10 bitcoins at least, They are big enough to pay that IMO and they have proven there trustworthiness with values larger than that. Regarding cloudbet although it is shady -just check there forum topic- I guess they would be able to pay for such bet.

of course the best option would be using a certified and regulated sportbook where you can even sue them if there is an issue or such, but most of these don't take BTC and even those that take BTC as a deposit option won't allow you to bet in BTC "hence the profit if any would be in USD".
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a free bet? on: September 14, 2016, 06:24:39 PM
Yes I did have few winning "Free bets", 2 of 2 overall. these were in NitrogenSports. one for around 0.2 BTC in an old signature campaign they used to run that paid in free bets -a lotto anyway- That one won around 0.1 BTC and the principal bet didn't count so just 0.1 BTC overall. The second was also in NS worth 0.01 BTC for a twitter promotion.

it's good to see the house offering something for the player, free bets -though are somewhat unfavorable for the player compared to no rollover rewards- are still nice.
