101  Economy / Gambling / Re: == OFFICIAL 2014 BITCOIN GAMBLING AWARDS == Vote for your favorite website! on: June 26, 2015, 05:32:29 AM
Hello

Anyone casout some btc from btc-casino.io?
This is the worst casino I've ever play
I will vote for primedice
I also vote for btc-casino.io as a SCAM.

I never gambled at btc-casino.io; however, if you're looking for a better place to gamble your BTC, I may suggest you to give a try to dadice.com. It's an amazing place to enjoy rolling dice as well as to try & win BTC money. This because their Pilot Mode autobetting allow players a good degree of control on your play, even allowing you to set the end of betting streak after a win. Their scalable faucet - you can level up the reedemable amount to 12500 satoshi (0.00012500BTC) - allow you to test & refine your gambling strategies, without losing too much BTC of your own. Also, the speed of Deposits & Cashouts at Da Dice is very fast.
Da Dice is a provably fair dice site with a low 1% house edge, Jackpots and a live chat to talk to other online users (and sometime catch tips gifted by chat mods). Also, the site has a splendid design & looks really good.

Hello

Thank you for this post
I will try your web in a couples of hour
I hope I don't get the same impression about your dice
Take care.

You welcome. However, I'm not the owner of dadice.com, but just an happily satisfied & enthusiastic player there.  Wink
bitcointalk's Da Dice staffs profiles reportedly are the following:

this is interesting.

maybe a job for 21 Inc's embedded chips for negotiating right of way:

http://www.businessinsider.com/r-two-rival-self-driving-cars-have-close-call-in-california-2015-6

It made me think if any of this rival groups gave a thought to common interoperability concepts before. A 2 way data communication to alert a preceding autonomous vehicle of another incoming one in the fast lane could be really useful. Even more if the preceding one could let the fast incoming vehicle of the need to change lane due to a obstruction...thus forcing the latter to slow down to allow such evasive manouvering.

BitFury has announced a pair of high-profile appointees to its advisory board and established a new body of technical advisors.

New to BitFury's advisory board are former chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Dr James Newsome, and president of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy (ILD) Hernando de Soto.

Dr Newsome is also the former CEO of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). An appointee of President Bill Clinton, he assisted the administration as a member of the President's Working Group for Financial Markets and led the CFTC’s regulatory implementation of the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 (CFMA).

Bitcoin Poker Site Operator to Plead Guilty on Gaming Charge

Quote
Bryan Micon, operator of now-defunct bitcoin poker site Seals with Clubs, has agreed to plead guilty to a charge of operating an unlicensed gaming website in Nevada.

Micon traveled from his home in Antigua to Nevada earlier this week to face the gaming charge after a warrant was issued for his arrest in April by the Nevada Attorney General’s Office.

Defense attorney Richard Schonfeld told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that Micon will serve an as-yet-unspecified probation term and pay a fine of $25,000. He will also forfeit assets seized when Nevada Gaming Commission agents raided his home in February, property that includes $900 in cash, computer equipment and just over 3 BTC.

105  Economy / Gambling / Re: [DICE]Bikinidice, Multicurrency,auto bet, range selector.AUCTION, PLEASE ENTER !! on: June 25, 2015, 08:29:15 PM
For me the site have lost every credibility, if back online i dont' play, not is possible delete all the site, without one advise or other. Why buy if later don't use?

The've already lost everything since the website's transfer of control. Even if they restart Bikinidice now they'll struggle to recover former players because of new gambling heavyweights that popped up in the last months.
Probably, they've changed their minds; however, we can only doubt about their trustability & capability to do business with BTC gambling following this news.

BitAngels' Michael Terpin on the 'Long Road Ahead' for Bitcoin

Quote
Last month marked a milestone of sorts for Michael Terpin. BitAngels, the first "serious" angel network in bitcoin, celebrated its second birthday.

Things are markedly different since the group's first impromptu meeting at the Bitcoin Foundation's Bitcoin 2013 conference. After sending out a Reddit invite with the goal of six or seven people showing up, Terpin and co-founders David Johnston and Sam Yilmaz had 35 attend (60 joined within a week).

"The spirit of discovery and camaraderie from those early days was magical and unforgettable," said Terpin. "When we did our first set of fundings with bitcoin it was lower, $100. But compared to $5 that time a year earlier it seemed like it was on the rise."

Proof that i scammed?

"Yes. I can confirm that I'm still here.  I'm waiting to take pictures and post after I leave as I'm here for a few days.

The room is beautiful!
"

There was someone that used your service and got evicted from the hotel after a day, since they figured out that the booking was fraudulent. I am unable to find the specific post, you might have deleted it.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to use this service.
I haven't booked any room, but I doubt any such posts were deleted. The posts made are here and were made by newbies, so they could be just fake accusations as they had no proof . You can see the posts on the top of this page. But again I am not vouching for this service, and would recommend you to use an escrow till the end of the trip.

One of my friends used this service too see if its legit, and it was confirmed that the booking was fraudulent. So if you really believe a random guy can book you 60% off on any hotel without fraud and without providing any proof that its booked in a legit matter then its your fault when you get scammed.

Would "your friend" be willing to post some actual proof in this thread? You know, to base the accusation?

I believe he already had posted proof and it was deleted.

Maybe he could post proofs, again? Even better if...he could post in the Scam accusation board.

Thats up to him if he wishes to do that.

Again i would not recommend using this service, but at the end of the day its your choice.

Sure it was up to him to do that; just as, If I was scammed...i would post everywhere all the proofs I could have in my hands. I suppose, that being him a friend of yours, You could let him know about. Probably, if his experience is real, he cares about preventing other people fall for OP's scam.

111  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Anyone know a trustworth and stable HYIP investement site? on: June 21, 2015, 09:03:56 AM
I looked at many sites, but dont know wich are scams

They all are.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-yield_investment_program
Quote
A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors.

There is no such thing as a HYIP that isn't a scam.
C'mon wake up people there is no trustworthy or stable HYIP. They're design to be unstable and if you think about it if there were stable HYIP then it should have been running until now and lots of people would have been rich by now.

+1. OP would be better at investing in BTC gambling sites' bankroll he may still risk losing his capital as in any investment; however, this risk is less than the 100% involved in any HYIP.

i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?

It's a sad thing to read you broke yourself and ruined your life because of gambling. Such outcome could have been easily avoided by you gambling only an amount you could have afforded to lose and stopping after hitting it or after having won enough BTC or fiat money. Gambling, like Internet or Drugs use, can lead to addictions if not proprely managed; so, the key is about gambling in a responsible way. Personally, I enjoyed the thrill of gambling however I also limit my exposure to it so I can limit risks of ruining my own real life. I could suggest you, as any other gambler, to set aside some BTC you don't need to pay for bills or foods & beverages - e.g. BTC from faucets - to fund your gambling fun habit; then if you got a really lucky streak withdraw the excess amount or invest it but if you got a bad streak you shouldn't put in further money (above the amount you could afford to lose) in an attempt to recover your losses. As You could see by my posting history, I'm used to gamble on Da Dice - a provably fair dice site with a low 1% house edge, Jackpots and a live chat to talk to other online users - mostly because I like enjoying to roll dice there due to their Pilot Mode autobetting that allow me a good degree of control on my play, even allowing me to set the end of the betting streak after a win. I used it to help me avoid my gambling fun taking control.
If you want to try it you may click on my signature or on the in my posts; however, if you're not able to control your gambling habits and such an habit is taking control of your life I urge you to immediatly seek a medical/specialist advice & treatment.

Ben Parker: Bitcoin Has Potential in Fragile States

Quote
Most of us are familiar with the argument that bitcoin could help the unbanked, but Ben Parker, co-founder and former director of humanitarian news service IRIN, has seen firsthand how the digital currency could play a crucial role in fragile states.

In 2013, Parker was director of communications for the United Nations (UN) in Somalia, and in 2012, he led the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs for Syria in Damascus. Parker was also posted in Sudan as a UN communications officer from 2003 to 2006 and was closely involved with raising the alarm about the war in the Darfur region.

Having worked in humanitarian affairs and on the ground in conflict zones for the last 20 years, Parker provides a unique perspective on how bitcoin could succeed where it's perhaps needed most – in struggling developing nations.

You can't "migrate" accounts.

Create a new account with a valid email address in the new app, then send the coins from the old app to the email address you used to register in the new app.
The email you sign up with in the new app is your app wallet address.

Mining is limited to 2 hours a day, this is intentional.

All the bugs reported have been noted, and most of them have been taken care of. We will upload a new update today once we clear all of them.

Hello dev...I want to know how to sync with this new android app and how to log out?

The sync is automatic while you mine, it happens once every minute. This is why you must have an active internet connection while you mine. We have calculated that you won't need more than approximately 10mb a month for MangoCoinz.

You can't log out of the new app. You will be automatically logged out if you login somewhere else.

Hi Svonione,

i'm really sad to read that the new release of the MCZ mining app lost one of the more characterizing feature of Mangocoinz mining since the beginnings, aka the possibility to mine while offline and syncing when a network became available at a later time. I'm also sad because you limited mining time to 2 hours day thus further complicating life for those users, like me, who live in zone when dark zones of no EDGE, UMTS, HSPAs or Wi-Fi networks coverage exists. So, actually those new features make your new app a no-go for me and if not addressed i would have to mine till the end of support/working of the old MCZ mining app then uninstall it and abandon such a nice project.

Have a nice & prosperous day,
GV

I dont jogg because of my knee and I also dont have a data plan for my phone.. Does this count me out of the possibility to mine now?

Guys, mining without an internet connection is a huge security hole which cannot be fixed or patched because of the Android system architecture.
Don't have a data plan? No problem. Do you have wi-fi? Then sit at home and shake the phone around for 2 hours. Put it in some socks or something and spin it around.

Thank you Svonione for your honest & clear reply. I was not concerned about data costs but only about being out of network coverage while running & walking outdoor. Honestly, I'm not a MCZ farmer but I enjoy spending time outdoor doing some running or walking and I appreciated the idea behind Mangocoinz - the so called Proof-of-Sweat mining - of rewarding people with healty habits like joggers, runners, cyclists, skaters and fitness enthusiasts. Nevertheless, while I understand your concerns for security vulnerabilities, I think that forcing people to make a choice between running in the wilderness or in a nature reserve, where often you have very limited mobile networks coverage or no coverage at all, or running on a  treadmill in a gym (or worst to sit at home and shake the phone around for 2 hours) to make use of available network connectivity, put a serious risk on the whole Mangocoinz project viability. While in cold, rainy, day I may enjoy running on a  treadmill in a gym - hopefully, a less expensive gym than mine  Sad - the same is not true for the most part of the year; so, the ability to mine Mangocoinz while outdoor in areas with very limited mobile networks coverage or no coverage at all is my primary concern. Also, I walk also a lot while working but the old office building (it was built in A.D. 1700 circa) i'm located in cannot be covered indoor by my mobile network operator and we are not allowed to log-in our personal Smartphones into company WLAN to tx/rx data. I don't know how many fellow users (both actual and perspective ones) are in similar conditions but even if only a % of them are experiencing such difficulties we are still speaking of lots of smartphones' users. As I said before, I would mine till the end of support with the old MCZ mining app then I'll decide what to do after evaluating the newer app to check if still suit my needs as the older one.

Have a nice & prosperous day,
GV

Edit: @Svonione: My username is grandvoyageur. Actually, I live in a city with a good enough network coverage; however, in the neighbouring countryside, where the most beatiful place to run, walk and do cycling are we have plenty of dark zones.

Bitcoin in the Headlines: Sex, 'Dope' and Greek Tragedy

Quote
After months in seclusion, the price of bitcoin once again emerged as the breakout tabloid star of this week's news cycle.

Spurred by a sudden spike in trading activity on 16th June, the media quickly correlated the surge to Greece's increasingly possible exit from the European Union (nicknamed the 'Grexit').

Though real evidence to suggest bitcoin is becoming a tool for Greek citizens amidst monetary uncertainty is scarce, the coverage nonetheless succeeded at overshadowing other developments in the industry, both positive and negative.

How do You find the difference of S-300 to S-400?

A S-300 TEL

A S-400 TEL

You can recognize them, visually. A S-400 TEL (Transporter, Erector, Launcher) is mounted on a semi-trailer while S-300 TELs are not. S-400 TELs also used to fire S-300 missiles once during early testing, albeit with unsatisfactory performances.
