941  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTC-Flow a scam? on: February 22, 2015, 06:57:37 AM
I stumbled over this video. So my question is it a Scam or not?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWj5vUvtuzQ

Yes, it is! Also looks at the -ve trust feedback of the user running it: alarm bell start ringing. Stay away from this fraud.
942  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Help the forum and earn Bitcoins! >>>>Increased the reward to 0.1<<<< on: February 22, 2015, 06:47:39 AM
Currently no one knows if it's a ponzi or not. It looks like a HYIP projects.

However they still are able to pay the requests within a day. Logs are real as I have received number of times.

Just keep spreading the referrals, and tell people,

1.Try not to deposit any to this, Just Grab them first.

2.Use address which is under your control. Do not use any exchanges's address as the price chart is changing...

3.Store as much as you can before it collapses.

4.After you get 10,000 bits (Which is 1,000,000 satoshi) from them, Then keep playing until you can get their level-2 'upgrades'.

You can use this one, it's win-win. I am still asking as the flow chart has modified few times. (It looks like weekend bonus is higher than others, this mourning it was just one tenth of 0.00000150)

Use this one, I will do good for it.

943  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting paid for signature space? on: February 21, 2015, 10:27:54 PM
What are the minimum requirements for selling your signature space to advertisers?  I'm curious as to how this actually works and if you actually get paid? All it basically comes down to is, your promoting they're services right?

You should look to each campaign rules. Here, an overview of current campaign accepting members. Also, to check if they pay (or may pay) looks at campaign thread OP trust score & history. Also, you my wish to use signature campaign with escrowed funds.

945  Other / Meta / Re: my account was hacked someone try scam from it. on: February 21, 2015, 09:55:16 PM
wait are you saying that the account that you are posting from was hacked? I seriously doubt this

Maybe, he tried to scam others but, after failing to have a successful scam on his tally, tried to reset his pwd and then claimed to have been hacked by a mistery guy.  Roll Eyes

This could be possible, but we don't have "any" proofs (only those pm). However, no one has been scammed (fortunately) and this is the important.

I agree with you. We should be grateful to **put here the name of anybody/anything you believe you may be grateful to** that scam attempt failed and nobody lost its BTC. However, we need to remain alert and if proof emerge we need to swiftly act accordingly to it.

946  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie! Member trust and feedback? on: February 21, 2015, 09:47:47 PM
Where does a member leave comments and feedback for a transaction? Good or bad? I see many members with 0 trust. How do you know who's legit or not? I believe I have just had a dealing with a bad one, just want to let everyone else know so they don't get burned.

How trust works was explained almost 2 years ago here, by theymos. ===>>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211858.msg2221664#msg2221664.

If you think you was scammed by someone, you should open a thread in Scam Accusation board. Before posting it please read the how to to reporting scams.

Also, I suggest you to read the How to spot a scammer thread before doing any further transactions.

Take care!  Wink

954  Other / Meta / Re: Where does one reports a Scam or a scam waiting to happen? on: February 20, 2015, 12:04:32 PM
Anytime I see someone trying to scam I report it with the report button but it results in only my accuracy getting dropped, the posts don't get removed because I think there's a rule that "Moderators do not remove likely scams" and and then I get logged out right after I report one. Sad

So should I just overlook and don't pay attention to likely scams (it would be hard for me to do that) or just make red warning post in the thread or.. What should I do?

If you strongly believe someone runs a scam attempt you could give him/her a -ve trust feedback to warn others. Also post your proofs in Scam Accusations board.

Just wondering why OP hasn't resorted yet to operating a Ponzi since people running them and users falling into such frauds seems to never be in short supply.  Grin

I've found a new Ponzi operator even today, here its fraud. WTF!
956  Other / Meta / Re: Ponzi "Game" == Negative Trust? on: February 20, 2015, 10:15:48 AM
Ponzi operators are never in short supply. I've just found a new one, here its own ponzi scheme.
957  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ Bitin.io » Instant Cryptocoin Exchange! » Accountless » Sig/Pm Campaign on: February 20, 2015, 09:38:24 AM
Can I use something else below your signatures?

Here, the applicable rules:

[..]

★☆★ Pay Structure - Bitin.io ★☆★

★ Note: All Tiers Require Personal Message for payment

[..]
☆ Side Advertising(Competitor + Personal MSG + Newbie Code): 0.00002 BTC per constructive post. 20 Posts min per week.
☆ Side Advertising(Competitor + Personal MSG + JR Code): 0.000025 BTC per constructive post. 20 Posts min per week.
[..]

Side advertising explanation & Personal Advertising Message:

This allows you to advertise us with another advertiser. This is great for everyone because some advertisers don't allow you to include another
advertiser in your signature, but doesn't mention anything about personal message advertising. So we expect everyone to hop on board for this
since its a free add on.

However if you do have an advertiser that allows you to advertise us in your signature on the side, then if you take the newbie code below + personal advertising that is higher rates.

Also, as hilariousandco already said, You may have some troubles fitting a side advertising in your signature due to newbies' signature limits.

Can I use something else below your signatures?

I don't think you'll be able to put anything under it as a newb.
958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Used http://bitcoinlaundry.com/ 36 hours ago, still no coins on: February 20, 2015, 05:45:54 AM
Used http://bitcoinlaundry.com/ 36 hours ago, still no coins - is this a normal time to wait for my coins, or is something up here?

Always do your own due diligence before putting your eggs in a basket. Using mixers always involve some risks - here on bitcointalk you can find some users experiences, e.g. [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me - but researching the forum for clues can allow yourself to find the least risky one. Yes, Bitmixer.io probably is the most established, used and safe.
959  Other / Meta / Re: How to gain trust? on: February 20, 2015, 04:43:04 AM
I see the "trust" function (i.e., +1, -1, etc.) on the forums. How do you gain trust?

Do you really need to care about "How do you gain trust?" Gaining trust score is a natural process; You gain it +ve, neutral or -ve just doing trades or providing services or put more simply by being a valuable and helpful community member. Doing 1 or more of the aforesaid things make other community members here leaving a trust feedback to your profile (if they wish to do so) and your trust score will reflect those feedbacks.
By the while, why asking such a question like a wannabe scammer while using the search form here on bitcointalk can find you all the guides & help on the topic?

There's a field for the "Reference Link" in trust. I assume this requires some sort of post for validation. Perhaps a link to accounts on other sites would serve as a good source?

Unreferenced trust feedback bear low to no credibility. Trust from outside sites bring no value at all since it was rigged by sockpuppets & other abusers. You should do real trades and other members here will give you feedback based on them, putting the references in the Reference Link field.
960  Other / Meta / Re: CrowFunding - Forum rules ? on: February 19, 2015, 06:59:04 PM
Hi,
I had some ideas about some Programming projects (related to Bitcoin) where we make Crowfunding and ask from a trusted programmer/coder around here to do that project for x amount of Money/BTC . (Escrow going to be used of course).
So I was wondering what the forum rules says about the Crowfunding exactly ? are they allowed ? if yes on what section they should be posted.

~ Madness

I think it's allowed. In my understanding a crowfunding thread could be hosted in Marketplace's child boards with the most appropriate depending on the terms of crowfunding project. Also Project Development could be appropriate. Bitcoin Discussion should be use as a residual choice.

No.

Marketplace is for buying, selling or trading of goods (physical and digital).

--snip
... what section they should be posted.
--snip

As mentioned before, It should go into:
Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Project Development

You can look at this project as reference:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521473.msg5773295#msg5773295

I confirm my position since Marketplace's child boards like Goods or Services could fit a Rewards Crowdfunding initiative because entrepreneurs pre-sell a product or service to launch a business concept without incurring debt or sacrificing equity/shares. Equity Crowdfunding could fit in Lending or Securities boards since it involve the offering of Securities and investments.
I think the technical details of the project being crowfunded could be hosted in Project Development, however.
