1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 14, 2026, 08:50:04 PM
Al Hilal is currently winning against Al Faisaly, and they are the favourite to win the match, most top teams are going to win their first game, because it very important to win a first game to motivate them to play their next games, Saudi pro league is going to be interesting to watch this season.
Al Hilal won their first match, with the total goals initially set at over 3.5, ending with a final score of 4-2.
Al-Ettifaq also secured a 4-2 victory. Al Hilal and Al-Ettifaq overtook Al Ahli and Al Qadasih, who had already secured their first 3 points.

The Saudi Pro League isn’t a league that draws large audiences, especially when compared to several top European leagues that people truly look forward to watching—even if their match times are late at night in certain regions.
Let’s be honest: if the Al Hilal vs. Al Nassr match were scheduled at the same time as Liverpool vs. Arsenal or Manchester United vs. Manchester City, would you choose to watch the Al Hilal vs. Al Nassr match?
Honestly, it’s interesting to follow the developments in the Saudi Pro League.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever again crash below 50.000$? on: August 14, 2026, 07:53:00 PM
Any situation in the price of Bitcoin can change at any time, there is no fixed reference to it. The bear market is not over yet. So there is a The price of Bitcoin has been dumped more in the past, so we will never panic when we see this. However, those who are new investors should definitely not panic and buy Bitcoin. Because the longer you hold Bitcoin, the less risk there will be and the more opportunities there will be to get benefits, so holding Bitcoin for a long time is the best plan.
Panic is inevitable for new investors who lack experience in dealing with sharp market declines, which cause the value of their holdings to fall below what they expected.
Once they’ve learned to navigate such periods and are able to weather them, that panic will disappear when the market recovers.
In the long run, a long-term holding strategy can mitigate this and consistently provide greater benefits to investors, including gains from price appreciation.

-snip-

So the real question is not; will AI take my job?

The real question is; Am I willing to learn the tool for my advantage in my required field?
Those who worry that AI will take over their jobs are the ones who don’t understand why AI was created. The sophistication of AI makes it easier for people to overcome the obstacles they’ve long faced.
That question needs to be asked, and when you think about it, it’s already too late to ask it now because many people have already put the answer into practice in their work and in developing their careers.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting with pooled money on: August 14, 2026, 03:57:30 AM
Me, and my friends once pooled our money to place bets on a casino site, looking for some entertainment during our spare time. Initially, we just wanted to hang out like anyone else, but then one of us suggested pooling our funds for betting. We all agreed to go for it, and we certainly got our entertainment, even though we ended up blowing through our entire bankroll. Maybe, it was my first and last time doing something like that.  Grin  Grin

Honestly, playing like that is really entertaining, especially with the mix of emotions we experience with every bet placed. However, I think that can only be done with a mutual agreement regarding whatever might happen, and there will be no issues if everyone has reached an agreement.

So, have you ever done the same thing ?
The most exciting form of entertainment is the kind you do together across the board. When it comes to gambling—pooling money with friends—honestly, it’s a lot of fun, even if you end up losing it all; the joy you experience will stay with you forever.
When it comes to betting, I’ve never done that with friends, but I have pooled money with friends to trade futures.
It’s also fun to bet by pooling money, but it seems unlikely we’ll be able to do that again given how busy we all are.

I give a big round of applause for the Netherlands’ decision to appoint Xavi as head coach through 2030. As far as I can recall, this is the first time since 2012 that the Netherlands has been coached by someone from outside the country.
As for whether Xavi can bring something to the Dutch national team’s play, I think he can—and might even exceed their expectations. Why? Because, on average, the players on the Dutch squad are the type who can play at a fast pace and easily adapt to the tiki-taka strategy that Xavi will likely implement.
Arne Slot was the first choice of the Royal Dutch Football Association. But he turned down the offer to replace Ronald Koeman. He said he prefers to engage in the day-to-day complex work of club management rather than to transition to national team management. The first report I heard was that he rejected the job because of financial disagreements, which he denied.

Xavi doesn't have much national team experience, but his few years in club management would have given him the needed skills and experience to rejuvenate the fumbling Dutch national team.
The process leading up to the agreement with Xavi to take over as head coach of the Netherlands after Koeman parted ways with the team was essentially the same as what applies to most new head coaches at national teams that are selecting a new coach.
In my view, Koeman’s decision was the best choice for him, as it allowed him to focus on coaching a league team rather than the national team. Salary was also a factor in his decision.

Coaching a team at the league level—which is often considered a failure—may have allowed him to learn from his experiences while coaching the Dutch national team and become a better coach. Especially someone like Xavi, whom we know to be intelligent.

Nobody has posted, so I’ll do..

The Netherlands have appointed Xavi Hernandez the position of the Head Coach of the Dutch national team untill 2030, and its Official. What do you think about this appointment? Do you think Xavi Hernandez can deliver something tangible with the Dutch national team in the upcoming Euros? Share your thoughts..

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Changing wallet address in every 3-8 years advisable on: August 12, 2026, 07:34:22 PM
For technical storage with stronger security, use a cold wallet to store Bitcoin for periods ranging from 1 to 4 years. Electrum is a good Bitcoin wallet, but you should still be concerned if you plan to store your Bitcoin for up to 4 years, as there is a vulnerability that allows hackers to exploit addresses without an additional passphrase.
Sometimes, a mistake in the process can turn a good wallet into a bad one, even though the error actually lies with the user.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding is not good enough now, accumulate as much as possible in this Dip. on: August 12, 2026, 07:05:16 PM
Let's say you have a $100k which you have budgeted for accumulating Bitcoin, and if the price drops further from the initial price that means you are going to be buying more Bitcoin using thesame amount of money.
No matter what happens in the market, we will definitely keep our Bitcoin investments for the long term. In my long-term plan, even if Bitcoin reaches a limited price, I will not stop buying Bitcoin, because I know that no matter how low Bitcoin reaches, it is capable of reaching an all-time high again.
We’re already at the right stage to ignore everything that causes us to panic and stay motivated to continue being long-term holders.
This mindset needs to be maintained so we don’t waver when faced with a declining market price chart caused by (possibly) negative news that affects investor confidence. But I’d like to ask: have you been paying attention to Bitcoin’s price movements lately? Bitcoin has demonstrated its resilience in the face of various global political situations, negative news, and the most recent incident involving the ColdCard hack.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Super Cup 2026 on: August 12, 2026, 06:09:06 PM

Throwback of last season, I wondered how Tottenham managed to blow away a two goal lead in a matter of minutes, this was a trophy that almost won but lost it close to the finish line. It's same PAG again against another English team, of recent PSG has played against English teams more than any other league and most of the time they won them all. Chelsea was the only team form the league to give them a run for their money within this period. Most of their players are back and available for this game, PSG will sure win it thereby adding another trophy to the list of trophies they have in their collection.
That’s why it’s important for PSG not to underestimate Aston Villa. I’ve seen the confirmed PSG lineup—Dembélé isn’t starting, and Enrique has opted for Akliouche instead. Ruiz is also listed among the substitutes. The other positions are filled by first-team regulars. This shows that PSG doesn’t view Aston Villa as a weak team at all.
While Tottenham, who took the 2025 Final to a penalty shootout, finished 17th in the English Premier League standings, Aston Villa finished 4th last season.
If the weather affects the outcome of the match, the temperature in Austria is only 25°, so it won’t be too hot.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won a small parlay by ChatGPT on: August 12, 2026, 05:07:28 PM
It can be helpful and simply offers options for selecting predictions for several matches in a parlay bet. Even if you win today based on ChatGPT’s predictions, there’s no guarantee that tomorrow’s or next week’s predictions will be accurate.
Last season, a friend of mine showed me some winning bets he placed based on ChatGPT’s predictions, but the following week he lost because he followed the predictions provided by the system.
In short, it won’t be helpful in the long run.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Super Cup 2026 on: August 12, 2026, 04:47:43 PM
PSG is the clear favorite to beat Aston Villa, but Aston Villa could still defy the odds and take the match into extra time or even a penalty shootout.
Most bettors will likely follow the bookmakers’ odds, but for some reason, I predict that this year’s UEFA Super Cup final will be different. Perhaps the drama of the Champions League quarterfinal on April 16, 2025, will be repeated in this year’s UEFA Super Cup final.

I doubt that Aston Villa can do something against PSG. PSG has really a higher quality and is much much better and the odds say that as well. I honestly dont see a way Aston Villa can win this, maybe if they score a goal early they can maybe win. I think Aston Villa will just defend in this match and try and score from a counter attack.
It’s certainly not convincing that Aston Villa can make an impact against PSG, given all the firepower PSG possesses.
With all the speculation surrounding them, it seems as though Aston Villa is simply too weak to take on PSG, and I don’t see them making the most of the strength they do have.
If Aston Villa can score before PSG does, that’s where things could start to unfold in a way that keeps the match going beyond regulation time. Both teams could score—that’s the most reasonable betting option.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Are consistent AI models hacks a security concern or form of advertisement. on: August 11, 2026, 07:09:53 PM
Meta has become the latest tech firm to say one of its AI models was able to connect to the internet and hack into another organization's systems during testing. OpenAI revealed some of its most advanced AI models went rogue and hacked a start-up after it lost control of them during a security test. Anthropic also said that an artificial intelligence model from Anthropic created fake online personas and tried to deceive human coders into abetting a cyberattack during a recent safety evaluation.

Does it mean that these tools were not well built, so they malfunction from time to time?
Or is it a strategy by these AI model producers to prove that they have built more advanced models? Let me say, are they showcasing that their models are smarter?

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx2kgdnyk2po
Any technology that has been created and designed is bound to have flaws, which is why the developers of these tools will test them again. The fact that they need to test them is a sign that these supposedly great tools are not yet in their best form—even by the developers’ own standards—and reveals that their capabilities are limited.

When all this sophistication operates in a way that can breach the privacy boundaries of a startup—as has happened in many cases—we might conclude that while the technology is indeed impressive, there was malicious intent behind it from the very beginning of its design.
In other words, people have defenses to protect their security, but since the internet remains a basic necessity, it’s difficult to resist the power of such tools.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Emotion, the real reason of your failure in trading on: August 11, 2026, 05:13:27 PM
You can manage this emotion as you wish if you can maintain the preparations properly. In most cases, emotions will continue to lead you against the right decisions you have taken. To avoid this situation, get used to living a disciplined life. Greedy attitude most of the time harms you financially, be it in sensitive areas like trading or gambling.
The main thing is that your limited decisions in financial matters always give good results. If someone indulges emotions for the sake of extra profit, they cannot be successful.
Emotions arise when self-confidence is too high, as the OP mentioned. This usually happens when a trader is in a winning position and the process that’s generating significant profits is going exactly as planned, so in practice, they’re making a profit.
The right decision is to have the discipline to walk away from a profitable position if you’re feeling unsettled or uncertain—because continuing could result in a loss.

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting are influencing the transfers on: August 09, 2026, 09:57:58 AM
Prediction market now have both Real Madrid and Barcelona at equal odds to land the midfield general, looking at this and the Vini case that is never ending and cinematic do you think it is not organic.
Barcelona’s final offer to Manchester City will be made shortly. This appears to be the final offer, so there is a possibility that both sides will reach an agreement.
Vini has entered a new chapter at Real Madrid now that the deal between the two clubs has been finalized.
Rather than betting on Rodri, betting on who will win La Liga—Real Madrid or Barcelona—is more interesting. Polymarket is giving Barcelona good odds.

First time i see big clubs like Liverpool getting players on loan from other big clubs, didnt see that in a long time honesty. Araujo can come handy to Liverpool as a backup if someone gets injured. I dont think he will start because he is a player on loan and that tells a lot. So i think he will be a backup and if he proves himself in Liverpool they will surely sign him once loan expires.
With Konate’s move to Real Madrid, Liverpool’s only remaining starting center backs are van Dijk and Gomez. Gomez rarely starts at center back but often comes off the bench to fill that role.
The most logical move in this transfer window is to sign a center back, which is why I’m really hoping Araujo’s move to Anfield goes through 100%, even though a loan deal with a €55 million buyout option has been confirmed.
I’m eagerly awaiting positive news on this and will keep monitoring the situation until it’s officially announced.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To tell how Cheap Bitcoin Transaction is on: August 09, 2026, 07:27:32 AM
Imagine the tricks some commercial banks do apply to users in making transactions, whereby the make it known to you that the higher the amount you are sending, the higher your transaction fee rate, which is massively advanced corporate extortion, bitcoin has made everything simple, easier and affordable for everyone to perform a transaction without depending on a third party or centralized financial institutions before we could achieve our aim.
Low transaction costs that can be controlled by the sender are a key advantage of the Bitcoin system—something not found in bank transactions.
Bitcoin transactions do not require the sender to answer questions about why they are sending a large amount of money, nor do they involve worrying about raising suspicion from the bank.
You should share the advantages of the Bitcoin transaction system—like the ones you mentioned—with the people around you.
18  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [Diskusi] Prediksi Harga Bitcoin on: August 09, 2026, 05:58:12 AM
-snip-

Mungkin pelaku pasar sedang memperhatikan bagaimana pergerakannya per satu minggu.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Psychology of Holding Bitcoin Through Bear Markets on: August 08, 2026, 07:03:59 PM
Strategic holders will always come out ahead. Bitcoin won’t always remain in the owner’s wallet once the price has reached its peak. Active Bitcoin holders will execute their strategy by selling when the market is in a full bull run, then holding onto their short positions, and eventually buying back when the market price drops again (bearish).
There’s no psychological game involved for those who understand the market. Panic is only experienced by those who are uninformed or whose trading patterns are purely short-term and focus solely on trading Bitcoin.

🚨🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool agree loan deal to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona, HERE WE GO!

Verbal agreement club to club with Barça now approved by director Deco.

New centre back for #LFC with a surprise bomba.

Fellow Liverpool fans gather here immediately. Did you see this coming!!!

@LFC_Bitcoin, @Jostern.
It’s entirely possible that we’ll see an agreement and an official announcement regarding Araujo’s transfer to Anfield. If people say that Araujo could be a good signing for Liverpool, I’d say this is the right move because we really do need a center back to partner with van Dijk.
Perhaps this news is coming exclusively from Fabrizio Romano, as major Spanish and British media outlets have remained silent on the matter.
