41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: March 01, 2018, 09:15:55 AM
Now there are 2 points of view. One is to think that the remaining airdrop should be completed as soon as possible; the other is that it should be on the exchange as soon as possible. I think the airdrop should be completed as soon as possible. It's very difficult for a big exchange to list a coin that doesn't finish the airdrop, because they don't know the coin circle supply. In general, the larger exchange is always refusing to go public for a currency that is not clear in circulation.
I definitely agree with your choice. Semux should conduct it's airdrop as soon as possible before listing the official exchange. It's time not decent to list due to the bearish market of altcoins.
Indeed, a project in the early stage of the unfinished distribution, especially unable to determine the distribution of the remaining coins, means that certain threat for any exchanges, this is very important thing.

Will there be an announcement on Feb 25th about another airdrop? Perhaps to ETH holders this time?

Nothing specific for now. The team is still discussing what better ways to distribute the rest of the community coins.
My suggestion over how to distribute the rest of the Semux in community fund:
Distribution scheme similar to Bitcore and DeepOnion, which you get weekly airdrop base on how many coins you have. Semux will circulate only around Semux holders to keep up the stable price and prevent the dump.

This is an attractive proposition. However, I wouldn't limit the airdrop to community member/semux holders because this will limit adoption. I would suggest having this semux HODLers airdrop together with other methods that will invite new people to join the semux community.
Since want to airdrop, I think we should consider from many sided, a snapshot of the sem chain, or to the new member of the community to join ratio should be controlled well, or there are other promotion rewards.

Recently, the price has been falling seriously. I have decided to buy it in batches, dev, should we do something? BTC has entered the period of growth from the low point, and ITNS should also start the growth mode.

Semux is a very good airdrop project, the bounty movement is interested investors and wool a great opportunity, in 2018 the price of Semux is expected to shock 15$.
If you look at the way its distributed i think its not an airdrop rather than a reward on the task done, and there is also forging of semux by delegates if it can compete with NEO then we have a strong coin in our hands.
I think the technical performance of SEM is much stronger than NEO, but NEO has a strong marketing network, so SEM should also pay attention to promotion.

New signature, great, creative.By the way, I didn't receive a 10 week reward. Is there a problem with the distribution system?

For everyone asking when Semux will be listed, the dev is already working on that and is currently contacting multiple exchange. They are just waiting for reply from these exchange sites. Also, there are still codes needed for semux to be easier to add to exchange and the dev team are currently working on these.

The team is currently focused on the following codes to help semux in the long run:

- Multisig
- DDoS Resistance
- Wallet optimization for Large Number of Accounts,
- Validators slashing protocol
This is good news.sem will surely accelerate the development of blockchain.

Bit-z is not a satisfactory exchanges, a good exchanges is vital to sem and cannot be blind.

I've seen that semux.info has been updated, and it's interesting to see the distribution of nodes around the world.
It seems that Europe has the largest distribution of nodes, and the distribution of other places is relatively uniform, which is a worldwide project. That's great.

https://semux.info/delegates

Thank you for illustration. Now we can see semux nodes had speared out almost around the world, apart from Australia. The atlas still does not show how many supporters or holders currently.

Nvidia GPU is always unable to run, I don't know where the problem is, debug many times, still fail.

When will nvidia's tools come up?
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XDAG] Dagger - new cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2018, 10:20:05 AM
Dev, don't listen to people with brain problems, you don't owe them anything, instead, it's a whole new design.Everyone loves this community, get those pesky people out of here.I think you should keep the project going, to hell with all those disharmonious sounds.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: January 27, 2018, 08:23:03 AM

Yescrypt's basic algorithm, which I hope will keep the CPU mining, could be devastating once the GPU comes in.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - 🚀 BTC Airdrop Now 🚀 on: December 21, 2017, 06:31:53 AM
Dev, if there is an increase in the number of masternodes, after the main network goes online, there are only 60 quota limits, and I think we should expand this total number slightly.

The exchange is ok, new exchanges, some places are not perfect, but trading is convenient.
on this exchange 123000 ITNS were stolen. The hackers picked up my password and bought their orders at an inflated price.
Theft continues, look at the price of buying and selling orders https://stocks.exchange/trade/XCPO/BTC/1W
If you had 2FA they'll never hack you, so can blame only yourself for.

I am not sure about 2FA being unhackable.  I have heard about hackers using their social engineering skills to get cell phone companies to send them people's sim cards.  This then gives them the access to 2FA without having to hack it.

As far as passwords go I use a secure online password generator to come up with random passwords.  I have so many passwords I can't remember them but I write them down on a small notebook so that I do not loose access to accounts because I can't remember them all.

2FA bind to a device, not to a SIM card. You can take any smartphone on Android versions (even without a SIM card) and set up a 2FA on it.
2FA is the most important thing. Once you register any exchanges, the first thing you need to do is set up 2FA, then keep the key, which is very, very important.
