Seele Launched on Huobi NEXT

Thanks to the strategic re-alignment of Huobi Group, HADAX will be upgraded to Huobi NEXT and be combined with Huobi Global on September 19. Seele will be launched on Huobi NEXT as scheduled and the deposit & withdrawal services won’t be impacted.

1. Product development
•Following the plan, last week we were working on additional features for the Marketplace component and furthermore, we are developing the API for iOS app.
•Also, as planned, we went on integrating the Marketplace component with Proxy Offers created through the Provider Dashboard.
•The specs for the first version of invoicing logic (Corporate & Retail users) has been drafted and is now pending implementation the Marketplace Database.
•Don’t forget, you can always check code updates in the public GitHub repository here.

2. Marketing/Community
•Testing Program Enrollment is still open. All info regarding the testing of the iOS app are detailed here. Extra tokens can be earned by reporting bugs and improvement suggestions. All issues should be reported here following the guidelines.
•Referral Program is still open. Bringing new users to the IPSX platform can earn you extra tokens. For each referred individual that successfully registers through your referral link you will be rewarded 25 IPSX Tokens.
•The first Staking Program was ended and the rewards were delivered to all the stakers.
•We are happy to announce our new team member, Andrei Petrache, Community Moderator. He is a cybernetics student with customer support skills, tech & esports enthusiast.

Next week plans
•We will advance with IPSX tokens Deposit and Withdrawal, flows through the Payment Gateway via API endpoints.
•The development of Webapp will be focused on the Marketplace & Provider Dashboard.

Ontology and Muzika are Building a Decentralized Music Platform

Ontology, a new high-performance public multi-chain project and a distributed trust collaboration platform, has announced a partnership with decentralized blockchain music ecosystem platform Muzika. Muzika will develop dApps and a new music ecosystem based on Ontology’s underlying technology. Ontology and Muzika will also cooperate in events and community.

The First Bitrun Hackathon 2018 in Hangzhou

The first Bitrun Hackathon has been held from 31st August to 2nd September in Hangzhou, China, hosted by Bitrun Blockchain Community. This three-day-hackathon attracted lots of domestic talents to join, including students mostly from top universities in China such as Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Fudan University, and Zhejiang University. They were competing for fame and prizes in 48 hours, focusing on building and developing dApps based on 3 platforms: NERVOS, VNTChain and NKN.

Walton Blockchain Institute Started its First Lecture, as part of South Korea Ministry of Science and ICT’s Plan to Cultivate 10,000 blockchain Talents

On Sept 3, 2018, the Walton Blockchain Institute officially started the first class of the six-month educational program. Upon program completion, the institute will offer students job recommendation as well as support for startup.

Elastos Unveils Merged Mining Partnership With Bitmain

Elastos, a blockchain-powered Internet infrastructure, has announced a merged mining partnership with Bitmain Technologies, a cryptocurrency mining specialist and hardware producer.

Merged mining allows Bitcoin (BTC) and the ELA coin, Elastos’ token, to be mined simultaneously and more efficiently. BTC will serve as the parent chain while ELA will work as the auxiliary chain. The partnership enables miners from BTC.com and AntPool to joint mine BTC and ELA using the Auxpow consensus.

Elastos said the partnership was “monumental” for miners and future users of its smart web platform as it guaranteed the security of the Bitcoin network by sharing its hashpower. The move also serves as a step towards mainstream integration of Elastos’ Internet operating system.
