1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian exchanges hit all-time volume high in October on: November 08, 2015, 09:04:51 PM
Don't they in Brazil have to pay a VAT as well when they are buying bitcoins? This sucks since this makes Bitcoin about 20% more expensive for the Brazilians.

Nevertheless, I am not surprised that Bitcoin purchases are exploding in Brazil if we take into consideration crazy volatility of their national currency.

Not, at least from consumer side.

There is no finantial regulation about Bitcoin in Brazil, so Bitcoin transaction and buys/sell won't pay special taxes, like happens in Eurozone and other places where Bitcoin is regulated
Brazil is also not sophisticated about enforcing any sort of taxes regarding online purchases anyway. That could change soon though.

I would look into reading poker strategies and perfecting your skillset. Practice as much as you can and perhaps you can be a good texas hold em player.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Simple Gambling Trick on: November 08, 2015, 08:59:00 PM
My strategy is to try to at least break even. If I don't break even then I log off and have an angry fit.
what do you mean about break even, What if you lose, you must recover your money right then and there?
I think serena was just makeing a joke comment.

Anyway at least breaking even is a good place to stop betting.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 08, 2015, 08:57:14 PM
Games have always existed in human history whether it had stakes or not. There are other risky behaviors in itself that can be considered gambling such as investments, mining expeditions, etc..

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 08, 2015, 08:51:05 PM
Only if you dont exceed your limits.

You can gamble and win or lose, but dont do it too much, even if you win a lot, because luck can change anytime.

That should be correct. If one know what is doing and how much his/her limit to lose on a given day then their shouldn't any issue in gambling because it is some kind of entertainment for some people but if this entertainment become a full time job then it will be wrong for every one. So just gamble to pass the time some times should be fine.

The actual problem with the gambling is no one will stick with their predetermined plans. Even the limit of losing for a day if crossed, many people continue that gambling of of greed or to cover the loss.

Yes that is true because people come to gambling with some preset requirements like they want to this gambling winnings to some of their needs but when they lose initially they will be in a bigger problem so they will try to win again their lost money to recover but at the end they will lose more. If one don't control them self then gambling is wrong for them.
These types of people are foolish. They must understand that there is a high chance of losing something so they should just consider it a hobby rather than a lifestyle.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: November 08, 2015, 08:31:31 PM
I feel the odds of winning a lottery are too low for me to keep putting my money into it.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: November 08, 2015, 07:31:15 PM
i make a dollar a day doing faucets....i dont see how you could gamble but once a week

Do you do like 5 faucets and quit?  You should easily be able to make over 1 dollar an hour using faucets.  If you can't you are doing something wrong.  I just spent about 5 minutes the other day and was easily able to make 30 cents.
1 dollar an hour is not worth the time for 90% of people. I could only bear doing 1 or 2 faucets and then quit.

I am only worried that corporations are only interested in blockchain technology but not bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.

13  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Cheap power in Argentina on: November 07, 2015, 01:52:33 AM

I am moving into a place in Buenos Aires, Argentina where power will be free. Power is cheap here anyhow. How much mining power do I need approximately to generate 1 btc a month?

I heard another way of mining is to actually buy mining power on line. You donīt have to worry about any equipment breaking down.  Is there a tutorial on mining and how to perform all the necessary calculations? What about a excel spreadsheet?

What are your thoughts?
There are ways to get around the import tax but it may require him to have it shipped into uruguay.

Nice man, there were some absolutely epic parties there recently.  Nullclick's 28BTC jackpot set of glory days for about a week.  I've never seen so many JPs at once.  It was outlandish.  1BTC party boxes multiple times!

Too bad I missed the party. Dragons tale can have some fun parties going on man.
